UPSC Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. It has three parts, the Prelims exam, the Main exam and the Personality test, which you need to clear in order to become an IAS or IPS officer. All other Group A services of the Government of India recruit people through the UPSC Civil services exam itself and because of this, there is a lot of competition in this exam. Hence, your UPSC preparation should be strategic, informed and well planned.
Your UPSC preparation should not be based on blind adherence to any program. Rather you should give a thought about how your are preparing. The best way to go forward is to study the blogs and tips given by previous year toppers about how to go about UPSC CSE for all three stages of UPSC Prelims, UPSC Mains and the Personality test also known as the UPSC Interview, and then make your UPSC preparation strategy accordingly.
Doing static subjects like polity, economy, environment, geography and history for your UPSC preparation is a solid bet to increase your chances of clearing this exam. But this must all be supplemented by current affairs for best effect.

I never knew abhijeet sir lost his mother at a young age. If you’re reading this i relate with you. I lost my mum when i was ig 12 & I don’t think I’ve still processed it or i want to. I’ve been through many phases about this whole thing but at this point I’m kind of indifferent. I love her, definitely but i think this is a coping mechanism that brain imposes

Abhijeet yadav , who graduated from IIT delhi and then gave his life's six valuable years to this exam. I am not being disrespectful towards anyone but why our country's engineers, even after passing from IITs, NITs are not going into their field and wasting their youth.
@kumarvishalbehera8689
@kumarvishalbehera8689 Месяц назад
Because hard core engineering jobs are tough, need a lot of interest in the topics go pursue higher studies in it and low paid. Why Arts students go for UPSC? Why can't they go for higher studies and become professors? Why Commerce students come to UPSC? Why can't they do just MBA and earn in lakhs?
@khushbucharan781
@khushbucharan781 Месяц назад
@Mendax414 ok he found his interest in UPSC but this exam is like gambling. Many talented kids waste 5,6 and even 10 years in this UPSC .
@khushbucharan781
@khushbucharan781 Месяц назад
@Mendax414 you can start from the 2nd or 3rd year of your college , so that in those years you can complete the entire sallybus of upsc, then give your 1st attempt. Beacaus mostly students say that even after studying for 1 entire year they couldn't complete csat, some portions of this subject etc and then they miss their prelims. So when a student is in college they have less pressure like so many topper shrushti deskmukh, vikram grewal they started preparing from their college days . BTW best of luck 👍
@khushbucharan781
@khushbucharan781 Месяц назад
@Mendax414 no I prepared from my home town in rajasthan. I have already given 2 attempt. My 2022 attempt was good and I missed prelims by 10 marks, I cleared csat also but in 2023 I couldn't clear csat and then my family started to force me to get married, so I quit preparation and started doing a private job.

Sir,please reply.. I'm filling up form for capf ac 2024 and would be first time doing 'OTR' registration and filling form of exam conducted by upsc... So, right now i dont have updated obc ncl certificate certificate, so i would fill up form in general category... But my doubt is that, can i change to obc ncl from general category later for applying for other exams like capf2025 exam or upsc cse 2025 or other ?
