I am a Singer and Composer from Denmark. I am traveling the world and this is what I explore!
In this episode of Glam Danesa I am visiting the neighbourhood Polanco and the area that local people call "Polanquito", in Mexico City. This is the Jewish area in CDMX, and is one of the most expensive and exclusive areas. Watch also my next episode where I visit dowtown of Mexico City.

The Church of St Augustine is not a synagogue! Like, look at the cross! There's several synagogues in Polanco, and they have a Star of David...nice mood in your video!

Hello Miriam there is a metro car for females only I think it's the pink ones. This is so women feel more secure when riding the metro which can be a bit daunting especially if you're alone. I hope this comment finds you safe and well.🙏

Hi Miriam, Thanks for your video - it was nice. I just wanted to note that while Polanco does in fact have many Jewish (Mexican Jewish) residents, people from many other parts of the world live in Polanco as well. I'd also like to note that the Iglesia de San Agustín which you show in the video is a very traditional Catholic church in Polanco, hence the large cross at the top of the church. There are, however, a couple of synagogues in Polanco, perhaps the largest being the Maguen David synagogue on the corner of Masaryk and Bernard Shaw street. Thanks again for showing different parts of beautiful Mexico City and much success!

Saint Agustin is not a synagogue! It's a catholic Church. Polanco is not exclusively a Jewish neighbourhood.

Te recomiendo hagas un video de san ángel, puedes caminar desde la calle arturo esquina campestre hacia la calle diego rivera y subir al estudio de Diego Rivera , comer en el restaurante san angel inn y caminar por las tiendas de lujo de la avenida altavista , también es famoso el bazar del sábado , el mercado y el convento del carmen , es una zona de calles empedradas y arboladas tan exclusiva como Polanco, saludos !

Muy buena aventura por Polanco Miriam, es un barrio muy bonito y exclusivo. Todos quisiéramos vivir allí, pero se necesita tener mucho, mucho dinero. A mí apenas me alcanzaría para vivir en la Roma... y quién sabe, con eso de la gentrificación los costos se han elevado bastante. Saludos y vamos por los 10 K subs!

San Agustín is a catholic church. In Polanco área, the 22 % of neighbours are jewish. Its one of the most extensive áreas in Mexico City; among many others; and it have a relaxing Environment as Chapultepec Park is near.

POLANCO is very nice but it's NOT the BEST place in the WORLD like your title states. I travel (job) and other Latin cities ALSO have beautiful neighborhoods like...Bogota, Medellin, Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Sao Paulo, Rio and Santiago. Btw, is this video about Polanco or about you???
