(Just for your information: Roger&Kates Mercedes is not a Vario - its its ancestor a T2LN1 (no special type name), early versions are (also) called Düsseldorfer (as their ancestors 508, 608 ...) because they are build there)
Hi Mel I don't know if it happens to others but I have been unsubscribed for some reason so missed about 6 months of videos. I have re-subbed and looking forward to catching up and being entertained and informed.
What a van i raptor mine about 4 years ago still holding out very well and it looks about the same shade aswell and comes up nice when you jet wash it good stuff.
Great to see you do an in depth of Roger and Kates Vario. It is so stunning, and Roger’s has achieved a superb finish on the van which has evolved to be truly unique. He has Great skills and imagination with reuse and repurposing of materials. Raised the bar for you Mel😅 (and the rest of us😮)
I love the idea of the bed but wouldn't want the winch above the roof. Maybe you could fabricate a bracket to the base and use something like a gearbox lifter underneath the bed to raise and lower it.
Hi Mel. Can I use house solar panels on my bus. I have a Iveco daily iris built by Mellor. 7.7m long as they are so much cheaper, if so what solar controller must I use....Thanks Stuart
Yes you can! I have been doing that for years only thing you need to know is the voltage as some MPPT controllers like Ctek can only go up to 21v most of the larger panels are 36v so just make sure you get an MPPt to match don’t worry there’s plenty of options to choose from
It’s amazing super tough hard textured truck bed liner that has become a popular trend among van owners to paint their entire vans with it the one downside is if it’s not applied correctly it goes on uneven and patches of rough and smooth unless you have experience with spray painting I wouldn’t recommend doing it yourself. 👍🤓👍
