It hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows. To get where we are we've had to learn some pretty tough lessons, and lose a lot of money. Today we talk about the most money we've ever lost on a job.
Beg to differ just a bit ... You welded that WY DOT door shut!!! I have a story like that. Worked for an unscrupulous woman and welded her gate shut ... Job after that one was just as bad and had to walk away as well. Jobs since then are great Sometimes you have to kiss a couple of frogs before the right ones come along!!!
So my names devan im 24 and i started my masonry business a d have been doing pretty decent, but can you make a video explaining whats a good cause for a change order? Because i did a job when i thought it would be quick and easy and ended up having to rent a jack hammer and spent wayyy more on adhesive and other supplies than i thought
Every general contractor I have worked for cares only about money, the only fornications they pretend to have are for whoever is signing the check, they are never on any sub’s side. And as always, insert self centered nasty comment about how stupid you guys are, whilst I have no experience in this area, here. Great job on always sharing your learning curve’s.
Specifications are specifications. If you cannot deliver within spec don't be a fool. For a zillion dollar job this guy try's to cheat the client. Look at the mistakes he makes on jobs and apparently he makes his plan is "Successful" marketing not good work.
yeah, the contractor is shit talking the inspectors method of testing (which is fair) but he also admitted to cutting the posts on a state gov job. government work is made fun of because people find it flimsy but its really the contractors trying to find any corner to cut.
