Taras' raw talent is incredible on its own but the effects he adds not only takes it to an ethereal level but makes it even more appealing to listeners of any genre. The way his music makes people feel is universal - apart from the people who get fixated on his use of effects that are stuck on this idea that beatboxing should be just an ugly cacophony of random technical sounds without musicality. Carry the water for Taras always, man! Haha! Taras' vocals are so pure. You are the first reactor I've seen that didn't get mind blown by the gunshot! All the people arguing whether he's using effects are cracking me up. I'm one from the audience outside of the beatbox community that he has appealed to and I can even tell he's using effects, but he's fucking fire without them too. They just add to the eargasmic effect, which I think is the whole point.😂
Besides that, his talent in the way he layers the sounds together at the same time with the vocals, with just the right effects at the right times is unmistakable. And those perfectly placed pauses…🤌
Yep, he has a 'naked' version of a few of these songs on YT too where people can hear what it sounds like raw. The answer is: still really freaking good, but I mean that epic guitar solo people love doesn't sound *that* good when we take away the amplifier, distortion and reverb, echo, delay etc either. But the fact that this guy could perform this live, even almost exactly the same as long as someone gives him a decent reverb pedal is *nuts* .
To be fair… he’s creating music videos. BUT he’s done parts of these songs in his live feeds, and that’s where you realize any post production is minimal. Again, he’s creating a music video. He’s awesome.
Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with this either. I love it. But I guess people get confused where ''his sounds'' start (since some sound inhuman to non-beatbox listeners) and where the actual digital effects end, if you know what I mean. But the only effects he for sure uses are basic EQ, a shitton of reverb on certain sounds (selected carefully it seems, it's actually really clever) and (of course) a basic compressor. This is nothing special, really. All of this is the minimum used on basically anything. The only thing that's abundant is reverb, but, again, I think he use it in a pretty clever way.
Yeah it’s not a secret that he uses reverb and some other processing on his releases, some fans just get over-defensive I think. You can hear more raw audio versions on his shorts and livestreams to compare. Btw Improver has a really nice new track as well. Thanks Ellis!

You bring up some really great points about Taras unique approach to blending beatboxing and musicality to create something magical. There have been many jokes made about him not being human or being a god (check out the Taras from Greek mythology) but he's just a specially talented and driven man whose innovative work has captured the attention of people within and without the beatboxing community. i suspect he's looking at a screen for the lyrics.... but it's true he always looking straight or the camera(us) or the lyrics... in a live session hit's really hard for him to repeat some songs cause it's not his language... he admited it... anyway that's just a guess ... thanks for the reaction.... he said the next one will be another original after SAME...
I think some people honestly confuse the reverb with the ehm... 'modulation' (? non-English native) he does when singing where he uses a lot of air to change the sound drastically. Other than that, I'm sure people understand you can't do reverb with your voice, right?
I think he has headphones on one ear to hear maybe to keep in rhythm (like a constant snare or something) but also so you can see his mouth for his beatboxing. Nonetheless so fucking fire. This guy is something else
