This video is about the most unbalanced / one sided releases in the history of Dokkan Battle ** All gameplay in this video is played recorded, edited and then uploaded by me
@@GraveDabooIt's funny cause running these kind of units in the type ESBRs/Vs. Super & Extreme essentially guaranteed you'd die if they got hit since they'd lose their leader skill buffs completely
Disagree with lr cells transformation, it‘s pretty easy to get in stages like esbr where he can potentially transform in turn 2 (if you are under 50% life by chance), Gohans still seems very reliant on android enemy/alls
I kinda disagree with buuhan and cell. Back in the day super battle road was viewed as important to the community, and they both were great in there. I remember seeing all the runs were LR cell could solo sbr. But the year 6 LRs was sooo sad. This was probably one of the last examples of Vegeta shaft that used to be common, now it's villains I feel
Big time shifted into shafting villains out right. There’s comprehensive breakdowns as to why that trend even came to be but I’ve subscribed to the theory and have been ever since… it’s likely they detect which cards or units everyone plays with based on stats and the super characters are just more popular. Straight up. Villains are getting so screwed over. Look at LR super buu. That card is WILD. But it sucks cause the majin team is so bad so if you pull him, great! Good luck using him! For that reason people say he’s bad but he’s not tho
Not stats of the cards or units like the literal statistics of use or frequency of what people put on their teams. People just aren’t using extreme units. Prolly cause they suck but yea😂
Lol 1 is funny ya it’s true but I’m surprised he didn’t mention how the opposite happened with the EZA and how INT Janemba was one of the strongest on release EZA characters in the games history and was useable for over a year afterwards.
It feels so weird doesn't it? I played since pre 3rd anniversary, and janemba being good is so ingrained into my mind that I just remember both of them equally.
Same but then I stopped bc even with all my top links from units like lr gofrieza and ssbk and ssbe, it still didn't do good damage so I switched to the GT 8th year lrs Edit: sorry if I'm talking wrong ui. I got the str ui goku😅
LR Cell is still a must run on my villain teams, together with AGL Golden Frieza they become an invincible rotation due how their passives complement each other, Frieza will never lose his damage reduction thanks to Cell. You do have to pray the enemy doesn't Super Attack slot two tho lol
Uhhh.. idk if you know this but agl frieza's passive works off start of turn, as does int cells transformation Essentially if you're transforming with cell the same turn you have agl Golden Frieza you do NOT have his passive because you started the turn below 40% HP and then healed into it
I've been playing for over 5 years but I think the 6th Anniversary LRs and the Super Hero Piccolo and Gohan had the biggest discrepancy between the 2 headliners (can't say anything about the 1st Anniversary units)
As someone who started when og str broly came out I can say gogeta was the biggest from of powercreep in the game, if you didn't have it your account was trash. Not only was he overpowered due to his good stats, but he introduced the super effective against all types which made him good against all bosses. On top of that he had the best leader skill by far. The best ones before him were limited by typing or only gave +2 ki to all allies
@@DavidVillaTorrePeople say this a lot, but having played back when STR Gogeta came out, you were fine if you didn't have him lol. You just made the best team you could and than you rocked him as a friend
@@Yes-yx6uc I also played when he came out. And he dealt so much damage that without him you were taking x3 as much to beat events, and it also made it more likely to die. On top of that he had the best leader skill in the game for a long time
@@DavidVillaTorre I mean, don't get me wrong, if you didn't have him, the game was a lot harder. I still got by just fine though, the original Phy Ultimate Gohan was my lead for a while cause of his 3 ki. You were able to get past most events just fine by using a good lead and than bringing a friend Gogeta, you just weren't breezing through everything like people who were able to rock two Gogetas lmao.
I used to call AGL MUI ultra cheese since if you were lacking a good defense unit in LR EZA stages you could slap him on and he can dodge (well most of the time) without actually needing the required category while STILL LINKING LEGENDARY POWER which is very useful for those kinds of stages.
It would be good to see a video about 2 characters released at the same time but one of them was much stronger than the other one but when these 2 got a EZA, the other one who was not good on release, is much better than the one who was better on release (i don't know if it's understandable). The 2 i think about that is TEQ Transforming Trunks who was really better than AGL Transforming Zamasu on release but with the EZA, it's Zamasu who is really better than EZA Trunks
It's funny to me that they gave buuhan only a single target seal, and the seal even lasted for less than vegitos scouter, 5 turns. And somehow decided they were equal.
I think I just thought of the best way they could've done a Beast Gohan back when Fraudhan came out... Do it like Piccolo. A rage mode where Gohan goes beast for a few turns, where he can't take damage. his normal super attack could be the kick, and his Ultra super attack could be the Special Beam Cannon
For Gohan Cell i would say Cell is more consistent because Unlike Gohan who need a cyborg cell saga to transfom He just needs to reach 40% hp which is way easier to activate sure Gohan have a better 1st form but the 40% hp requirement balance this out and it's as strong as Gohan ssj2 once transfomed
Gohan doesn’t even an androids/cell saga unit to transform, just an android ally or enemy, which is easy to fulfill with the gammas and all the android red zone enemies out
But with Gohan building up defense and has a chance to do 3 additional super attacks he just survives a lot longer than cell and is way more practical cells teams kinda suck and he's very squishy in base
For kaioken goku and great ape vegeta, you're missing the fact that the worst esbr and sbr still existed during that time which was the giant form only so vegeta trivialzed it and also complety destroyed other important challenges in the game like the world tornament so just that alone makes him on par with kaioken goku
There’s nothing that makes me more mad in this game of when they make such cool active skill and animation, just for them to be locked under ridiculous conditions
8:34 is this really the reason why they never released any other extrem chars for anniversary? if so that a really stupid reason i am 100% sure if they made a busted extreme character everybody would summon for him but if they put all their budget and ideas into super units no wonder nobody is going for the extreme banner if the unit sucks compared to the super counterpart
I wouldnt say it's harder to get cell's transformation. All you gotta do is fall below 40% hp, meanwhile gohan you gotta fall below like 58% hp and have a android 16 on the team or have an android ally/enemy and be on turn 5 i believe. If you are fighting a boss that hits super hard on turn 1, it's not that hard to fall below 40% hp. And unlike gohan, there are no other conditions you need to fullfill to transform
@@bananaballs3205 i can agree and disagree. Gohan once full passive can rank well in the new fights. However at the beginning he is a sitting duck. His guard helps a good bit. Cell in base will get bitchslapped before he can heal
Int cell’s transformation is not RNG reliant, in most hard content it’s pretty easy to get even turn 2-3 And cell > gohan at this point Edit: also lr fpf > ui on release
biggest lie in my life try going below 40 percent in any new red zone stage and be able to live most attacks its a terrible condition now especially with how little teams cell can even be in
I like Phy Ultimate Gohan and Teq Great Ape Vegeta. I run double Gohan leads for my Super Heroes team with Teq God Goku & Vegeta, Int Pan (Kid), Str Trunks (Teen) & Goten (Teen), Teq Super Saiyan 2 Gohan (Youth), and Teq Piccolo (Power Awakening) and I just shred nearly every event I go into. Vegeta on the other hand I run on my Saiyan Saga team with Phy Goku & Piccolo leading, and Agl Nappa/Vegeta, Phy Goku, Teq Yajirobe, and Phy Krillin. It's not as good as my Super Heroes team but they still wreck shit in most places I take them.
it's funny that a good amount of them have one unit being wayyy better on release but the other is aging far better, it's the case for vegito/buuhan, gogeta/janemba, muigoku/ssbevegeta and I would argue cell/gohan before eza but cell just didn't have a team to be played on so gohan was better as an overall unit due to categories, seems like dokkan usually knows what they're doing with one unit being better on release and the other aging better but there are too many exceptions for it to be a rule
@@ss.8143 I find myself using vegeta a lot more since the 7th anni, goku can't tank even a normal now whereas vegeta can at least tank with an item against neutral damage and on a teq boss(not double digits but not dying without a super which is enough for me), his revive is also a lot (LOT) more consistent and easy to get compare to goku which matters a lot when he's the only revive of the team and you either don't have an item to use or you're not on a teq boss, when the 7th anniversary came out, him being on power beyond super saiyan was a huge deal, I remember beating cell max for the first time with him and he was clutch in this run, I truly believe vegeta aged way better
@@julesm5892 nah, mui goku can dodge super attacks, and if you build him with full dodge then you will almost always dodge. The thing that sucks about vegeta is that he gets his damage reduction AFTER getting hit in the SAME TURN, which is a terrible condition. Meanwhile, goku has unconditional 70% dodge, and even if you get super unlucky and get hit, he'll usually not immediately die
@@RecruitMeat Build him full dodge??!! he already has enough, it's full additionals and then dodgeif you want to or crit for the active, you're the type of guy that puts 3 dodge on everyone? cause that doesn't do anything. Back to the topic, goku does die from 2 hits and puts you in a really bad spot after taking one where even your tanky unit usually dies from a super so yes if he gets hit you die, vegeta on the other hand will take like ~100k from the first attack, then decrease by 40k until double digits if you use an item or are on teq( just tested it on stage 4 of future saga red zone on 200% lead), without this it's ~300k, imagine goku, both die on super but goku has dodge, on that he is better, also he is on goku ssj4's team so with the 70% def support from standby vegeta can even survive ( not tank, survive) without an item which is important to me, I'd rather pick my stage and/or use an item than take a complete gamble and maybe waste a try, modeling your gameplay around using a whis isn't so bad considering how short stages are nowadays whereas goku takes ~250k even with an item if you don't dodge and I'd rather not rely on luck, vegeta being more consistent is imo better ( revive is really important too, very possible scenario: use whis 1st turn, use whis 3-4 turn, get revive on like turn 6-7 and finish the boss next turn)
@@RecruitMeat I just realized, for his build, since he has special equips it's not a good idea to go all the way for dodge because you can "only" get 15 and maybe 20 with a silver equip which makes his dodge go from 70% to 76% if i did my maths correctly ( could be wrong) which is so insignificant compared to the damage an additional attack provides, knowing it's a guaranteed crit too, just why put full dodge??

"Buuhan on the other hand was good, but no way near Vegito" Yet Buuhan aged FAR better than Vegito could ever dream of, lol. Edit: Piccolo's release should be convincing enough that even though Gohan was the top banner of the celebration, the celebration wasn't about Gohan, it was about Piccolo, and Piccolo is still nowhere close to being dethroned as the top LR in my opinion. His tanking and Giant form is just too powerful. So much so they actually NERFED his Giant Form for the Divine Wrath and Mortal Will's event.
Copium. Vegito aged better 10 turn scouter and heal on transformation. And damage reduction pre transform. I beat red zone omega with them when the early red zone came out
Cells transformation isn't too hard but can be different at times but funnily enough I actually think Buutenks is better than STR vegito as of rn due to his stacking though it could be because my buutenks is rainbowed
see, the thing with the gohan and cell release they kept both lore accurate which means gohan gets a transformation after being beat up a bit but cell gets his own form knocked out of him and with gohan having a slightly worse beating and cell a worse one, of course it's 40% hp
Uhh no Gohan only "tanked" because he's int. Gohan gets demolished in the new hard-hitting content because he can't keep up with defense, and once his guard is gone, he becomes a hindrance to the whole team and his ability to get ki sucks so bad plus your relying on additional to build his damage. All in all, Gohan isn't keeping up with difficult content.
@SnailSnail-lo4pm u can't debuff vegito that much without taking a huge amount of damage. You have to build up those stacks for it to start taking effect. Plus, zamasu only throws 1 out per turn and it doesn't take but 2 maybe 3 turns to kill off that phase
Cell was easier to transform, and as strong as gohan, remember this guys hits 1 million def and 21% damage reduction when transformed, while hitting 24+ Mil Gohan and Cell are different but equally strong imo
- cell transformation is way easier than gohan - great ape vegeta was better than goku since day 1 (but people only think about damage for nothing, str super vegeta "best character in the game" is the proof)
having a scouter on means that you can see where the enemy is going to super attack. It's good if you want to prioritize putting a tanking unit in front of supers. however, it's not as overpowered as this youtuber is making it out to be. Str super vegito has no damage reduction and get clapped in any difficult content
Tbh buuhan was better than str vegito in my opinion. I know that might be a hot take but vegito was just too underwhelming to me even though I had both 100% and even then vegito would be a glass cannon while buuhan would easily heal and block pretty much anything. But that’s just me 😅 also his counter wasn’t really all that to me unless it crit tbh which is also an rng thing cause it isn’t guaranteed.
@@munguwangu0nah for me piccolo does 1 mil damage with a crit giant forms just suck and are a waste of time I do appreciate the free damage but usually you just do 600k damage
@@munguwangu0 turn 5 isn’t that much turns. Plus u can’t get orange unless it’s turn 4. That’s prettty much 1 turn less. The same condition but 1 turn less pretty much
Cell was better. Buu was better as well. Dude was getting to 400k+ def in sbr, far beyter than vegito. He never took damage. Ui goku was the 2nd best unit in the game, phy buu takes no damage in the god event as to where ui goku had a chance to not take damage
@@lordpatrickcalvin6759 He is really good agains that rose RZ,It is like they made It for him,bro has guard and nulification agains phase 1 and type advantage agains phase 2
Let's be honest, whenever Dokkan releases a new Goku and Vegeta at the same time they purposely go out of their way to make the Vegeta worse. It's bullshit really.
