The saints got bobby slowiks brother im pretty sure. My niners old passing game coordinator we seen what slowik did in houston last year maybe his brother can do something similar with carr in New Orleans. Carr had some great years with the raidersade they can get some of that from him this year.
Thank you for mentioning the Ravens. Many of their fans act like Derrick Henry will be their savior but they fail to realize this: he’s now entering his 30s and going into a tougher division where the Browns and Steelers have strong defensive lines (not sure about the Bengals cause they lost DJ Reader which sucks for them) and will have to run behind a questionable offensive line. I think he’ll have 1k total yards and 10 total TDs at minimum cause he still has some left in the tank but I have doubts on how he’ll perform in the playoffs. Their fans also overlook the quality starters and depth pieces that they lost. They still have their core pieces on offense and defense but if any of them get injured, they won’t be able to overcome those.
Derrick Henry dosen have to be a savior, We had a good offense last season and will always have a chance to win the big one as long as we get to the playoffs, which we always do. We had a new offense and will be better in it this season.

You think the rams are going 8-9 or worse? EDIT: Saw in your other video that you feel the Rams will go 9-8 or 10-7, and that’s reasonable. Since those records are more than the 8.5 over/under, that would by default mean you don’t see them as overrated. (If the Rams defense does click, and the offense is similarly productive compared to last season [which it should be] the Rams could get 11 wins.)
Rams winning the NFC West Raheem Morris is not the end all be all lol for the Rams. Every defensive coordinator has run a 3-4 defense since Wade Phillips. The Rams has always used a bend don't break defense. Now with Aaron gone maybe they change it up with a 4-3 like the 49ers but I doubt it. The point is Raheem Morris wasn't that important our best defensive year was under Brandon Staley. Are you forgetting how old and injury prone the 49ers are ? And they are coming off a Superbowl loss. The Rams will have a better defense than last year. You said outside of verse who they got as edge ? Young who had 8 sacks last season and Jackson who they also drafted this draft. We drafted 2 DT and 2 Edges this draft our D-line will be impressive. Fiske and verse together are monsters and they ain't kids they are older rookies who are grown men ready to play. You mentioned curl but forgot about Kinchens at safety who is a ball hawk. Our corners are a weakness to you but most are entering their third season and some their second seasons together that's why Williams and white help because you have veteran presence and knowledge to help them grow like Bobby helped earnest Jones for that one year. The Rams are deep at every position and corner will get better as that is the youngest position We are young but have some solid vets to help guide our rookies
Im definitely one of the people on the bears hype train for good reason though thats a great team and if Williams can just be productive they can win 10+ games
Mitch, I have been a fan of your channel for a while now. And I appreciate the level of research and knowledge you bring to the discussion. But my goodness. What have you got against my Rams? You underrated them in 2021. And while you raise some valid points about the team, I think you're off your rocker if you don't think this team is an NFC contender. The the idea that the offense "won't click" is absolutely absurd. They retained all the key players that were successful last year while adding depth at each of the positions of concern: Jimmy G, Blake Corum, Boston Scott. They bolstered their offensive line by bringing in Jackson while adding depth in the draft. They addressed their massive kicking weakness by drafting an excellent kicker. What exactly is the the problem McVay and Lefluer are going to encounter? I don't think Kupp and Stafford getting old even comes close to justifying that claim. As for defense, I'll concede your point that the defense without AD is a massive question mark. And there are certainly some boom or bust prospects in the secondary. But even if the Rams defense only achieves average, I still think the off season work done by the organization is more than enough to compensate for that. This offense is going to be scary. I love your content, man. But im starting to think you have a bias with the Rams.
I don’t have any bias against the rams or any team really when it comes to my videos. I think the rams are a good team but not a great team . A potential playoff team but not a contender. I would have the niners, lions above them for sure . I also think gb, phi is likely ahead as well. I think it would take unforeseen jumps from players on defense for them to be a “contender”. The offense is top 10. I don’t doubt that. I’m simply worried about the decline of kupp and the injury concern of stafford like 2022. Its comments like this that caused me to put them on the list because we simply dont align on where we see the talent of the team. again good, but not contender unless some serious things happen to other teams

But my viewpoint is they got better overall despite the loss of AD. I think the secondary will be very improved. The pass rush is very variable. And I'll admit my assessment is based heavily on Verse and Fiske performing well. So I get that. As for the contenders, I would argue the point that Green Bay is above them. Maybe I'm being skeptical, but there are still alot of inconsistencies with their team. And the assumption that Love will continue to perform at the same level he did at the end of the year. As a Raiders fan, im glad u called out the Chargers. Jim took over a great 9ers roster. That he took to the superbowl. As u can see, after his draft picks were trash after. Now he is with the charger and traded weapons away or let them walk. And expect them to be good?
Dude the Falcons defense didn’t just get a little better last year. It got a lot better. Jessie Bates was an All Pro again for the second time and made the Pro Bowl. They have an All Pro CB In AJ Terell. They need an impact edge rusher yes they do. But I know that their secondary is significantly better than it was. Bates is a top 3 safety in the NFL. He was 3rd in the league in interceptions last year. Grady Jarrett is still a good player. Idk about their Linebackers. The Falcons need a tackling machine at Linebacker they need an impact edge rusher and they need a big nose tackle type like DJ Reader. I think the Falcons should have signed Reader.

The Bears: 1) Eberflus boasted about meddling in the offense & everyone believed this. Since no OC can override their HC _HE cancelled_ all the plays that improved their offense. 2) Someone looked into it & realized that under Canales, the Seahawks did great, but Waldron's rep seems to have gotten a boost by being his assistant. Yet even their blocking schemes on runs sucked & *all* their receivers under-performed. They all went left when Geno was expecting right. This looks exactly like what happened with the Jags as Pederson handed off the play-calling to Press Taylor & one can *see* the differences. So that's two play-callers for the offense that suck. Now let's add the HILARIOUS aspect of all this. I am convinced that Poles & Eberflus planned to oust Fields No Matter What. It's just an ego thing with a lot of new GMs & some HCs. Williams is supposedly Generational, right? & _all that assumption is_ based on his college highlights, right? He’s the Ravens are overrated. Especially this year. They lost an All Pro LB and didn’t replace him with anyone of note. They lost a safety who led the AFC in interceptions last year and did not replace him. They lost 3 starting offensive linemen!! The LG, RG, RT!! And they didn’t replace them with anyone of note. I think they will be relying on rookies for some of them. And their LT Stanley has always been overrated. He has NEVER played an entire season. 14 games is the most he has given them. He had 1 pro Bowl All Pro season in 2019. And the Ravens lost BOTH of their RB’s Dobbins and Edwards and they replace them with a 30 year old running back who will turn 31 before this season ends. And most importantly I think they lost their Defensive Coordinator. He is now the Seahawks head coach. Yes i forgot about Clowney. He’s still a good pass rusher and they lost him. And they lost OBJ. And they lost 3 starting offensive linemen.

Tua is not the only QB that struggles in cold weather games, name me a high scoring shootout in cold weather. That KC game was top 5 cold game of all time that was an anomaly. Bills have regressed roster wise and Jets relying on a 40 year old QB with a repaired Achilles.

This is an offensive driven league you keep talking about the rams defense as if it has to be top 5 in order for them to have success. Newsflash the teams with the so called “elite” defenses haven’t won championships recently. As long as your defense can make plays win needed and get off the field when the opportunity presents itself your team should be fine. The rams will have an elite enough offense to carry the show. The can run the ball to control time of possession. They dink and dunk or hit you with the big play.

I see Lamar as another Vick (or Willy Beaman). Lamar has surpassed Vick but it means the same. Everyone got blamed for losing in the playoffs but Vick, especially the WR's including Roddy White(was called a bust🤣) and even Joe Horn who ended his career as little more than a down field blocker.
