@@AliHadi374 you either have to play on a map that has the heavy bomber available, or you unlock it somewhere down the line. I never had that issue, I think it's just that maps

I personally have never been annoyed by a bomber, if I was though, I would grab the AA truck and clear up the sky from the back of the map in no time. The most annoying OP-ish thing is probably the explosives on maps with chokepoints like achi baba and fort de vaux.
I think this is fine BF1 has a zerging problem and this package can go a long way towards ending the zergs, Basically if you zerg around the map you risk having your entire team nuked by this thing.
Even if it's broken, the way it scatter around and explode on the ground, unleashing hell on the ennemy team is the most beautiful and satisfiying thing I've ever seen in bf1.

This bomber was indesctrutible in ww1, russia only lost 1 of those planes in the entire war. And bomber arent easy target because they are bombing from high altitude

I think you're right. In an average game, OP the first moments no one notices what's about to happen. When someone takes the initiative to take you down, pressure mounts. Then again, they give you five of the shells, and they explode like Chinese fireworks.
Every operation on Galacia has had at least one or two people using the bomber and absolutely destroying our team. What's the worst is when the fog rolls in and the plane can literally disappear and still see everyone. I'm a solo player so it's not like I can really do much against it unless there's an AA that I won't get immediately sniped off of.
This bomber is like an elite class, you have to take them down quickly or in the right hands can be absolutely ridiculous. And end up the game for your team. So the trick is not to let bombers in the sky. Every map - mainly in Operations - I run to the closer AA gun and take down at least one plane fastest I can. Depending on the map and the skill of the pilot the MG15 is quite useful too.
Its the first viable aircraft since the addition of the portable AA cannon, I mean what the fuck else is the heavy bomber actually used for? Nobody unironically boards the heavy bomber. Its ATLEAST a glass cannon in this state
If left unchecked, a player can quite possible go like 50-0 on certain maps, but even a few support players focus fire and it crumbles into pieces. I think planes are too easily destroyed in this game, they should be more pronounced.
this, not a single plane was attacking jack this whole match. On top of that not a single assault was using new Anti Air rocket gun which is very effective.
Kuky in PS4 both bombers won’t last 1 minuet in the sky, supports start shootings it and anti air and other planes at the same time, idk if the PC players don’t give a crap about bombers or the PS4 players love big targets
The Dope i was using Anti air rocket gun and my friend LMG. We killed like 20 enemy planes in one operations, it works very well. In fact it was too easy to kill them lol
I can’t really agree considering on most maps the bombers are SUPER easy to shoot down and usually do get shot down immediately. The spawns of planes are limited to one or two, and most people opt for the fighters or attack planes, and in one pass, either of those crafts can take out a bomber. High risk high reward imo.
You know what they say lol who ever controls the sky, controls the battlefield . I don't think Dice will or should nerf it. Not to many people use it and their so easy to take down
It's 2023 and I play with a couple of squads that jump into my bomber to hitch a ride to the opponents flags (conquest) they all jump off to capture it while I bomb tf out of approaching enemies. It's hilarious and frustrating for the other team. We flip the map in less than a minute most times lol. IDK why no one ever gets on AA gun to shoot me down most of the time.
i like aa, gotten multiple messages that i am a noob for using them ( have to admit, i shot the guy 6 times). But why ad them if you are not supposed to use them? 1 good aa gunner can rule the sky and save a map! bombers like you, easyest target on a map!
I remember back in the day when BF4 was in beta, and people were arguing that the 50Cal Sniper is too OP and that DICE needs to make sure that you can't replenish its ammo to keep it balanced. Now in the BF1 days we have elite classes with more armor and can replenish their ammo, bombers that can wipe out teams, and random one-shot-chest-shot deaths from snipers. I say "Balance" was thrown out of the window a long time ago in this game. The Battlefield franchise needs to cut down on the cheese, a guy like me that played battlefield for so long can handle it, but to new players its extremely frustrating and keeps them from coming back to the game.
Last time I had a run with 178 - 7 or so in a operation with it and already have 2100 kills with the heavy in just a few days and I can say its VERY strong at the moment, I think too strong. BUT the AA damage against this thing is also completly overpowered. I mean yea, you should be able to take down a heavy bomber with AA, but not in 4 seconds after beginning to shoot. There is just nothing you can do against an AA, no matter if you have repairs or not or if you have skill in a plane or not. And thats not very fun to play even if you have tons of kills. My suggestion would be lowering the damage of the bomber, the area of effect is okey but maybe less damage output per grenade. And for that you need to nerf AA and LMG against it the bomber. It should be more skillbased, and now its just either you get through and do 10x multikills, or you are down in 5 secs and cant do zero. There should be a better balance here, bomber should last longer and shouldnt be able to get taken out by just 1 flak assault and 1 LMG guy on the ground and for that, you deal less damage. That would be just the right thing to do, maybe like this commentary if you agree and want the same solution! Cheers :)
I know I'm late, but.. "Too many explosions" is kind of World War 1 in a nutshell, isn't it? Majority of all deaths in WW1 was from explosions, not bullets.
My team rarely has to deal with this as any decent fighter will eat them up. Half the time they are being shot at no less than 15 seconds after spawning

My friends stopped playing BF1 tonight, as there was a level 140 doing non-stop bombing runs on Ballroom Blitz, exactly as demonstrated here. Must admit, I was killed four times by the dude, and definitely not enjoying the game anymore. That's also what my friends said - it simply wasn't fun anymore. I wish I could throat punch jackfrags, cos now I'm the only one left playing BF1. My friends have left.
In the video, Jack shows himself getting killed over and over. The bombers are slow and huge targets, and are definitely NOT overpowered if your team is willing to take them down. Hell, Jack kept on being killed by ONE GUY on an AA cannon!
Trying to punch someone because your friends have left is pretty darn petty, the Ilya is easy to take as we can see in the video so don't make asinine excuses and try to take down the plane eh, chap ?

Heavy bomber on conolse is terrible if you're going alone and sadly most stick with just infantry combat so not many peeps hop on turrets to defend it against AA with most matches I've played. You probably got lucky
Good pilots avoid the range of AA guns, so yes, it's clearly OP. When I've seen insane K/D in operations and conquest it's almost always bomber pilots. Glad we have the Hudson with incendiary now to counter this.
A couple of supports with LMGs can take a bomber down in about 10 seconds if the bomber isn't that high up. If 5 players lift their eyes the bomber is gone in 5 seconds these things are paper made.
I think it needs to be somewhat powerful since it's so easy to take down. I think I tried using it like 3 or 4 times before I just gave up. I couldn't even get a shot off without getting taken out first. Maybe if you have a decent team manning AA's and a couple of good fighter pilots help protecting you. I just join quick match so that's never the case...
It’s only good for one or two bombing runs though because everyone targets them now, but they are good for pushing the enemy back or clearing an objective
