Mikal isn’t overrated this is literally his first full season averaging 20+ ( which is better than some other all stars who made the team in the last few years ) & the reason why his efficiency isn’t the elite is because he’s being told to take 10+ 3 pointers a game, all the things he did on that run last year from the drives & mid range is something the Brooklyn Nets offense this season has eliminated. He’s literally not allowed to take more than 3 shots inside the arc im surprised his efficiency is average because it should be worse

Jrue Holiday is by far the most overrated Celtic. Everyone thinks he’s this insane defensive player who can create his own shot. He’s obviously still a great defender, but Derrick has been better than him as well as being a better offensive player and people STILL think Jrue is better than Derrick. Though, Jrue has picked it up recently on the offensive end, especially his corner 3 %

I don't think it's fair to say Grant Williams is Hornets most overrated player, that's more based on Dallas. Since we traded for him, we have the number one defense and I think a lot of it comes down to his vocality and his leadership for our young guys, and he's played very well. Putting Julius Randle as overrated is insane. Most people expect absolutely nothing from him at this point, especially Knicks fans. I’m the only JR fan I know. He was actually playing really well the regular season, but everybody expects him to choke in the playoffs, so I don’t think this is being overrated.

Poole is the least obvious choice here. Maybe entering the season, expectations were for some kind of bounce back or at least a higher volume shooting version of last season. But it didn't take long for him to be considered as one of the worst players in the league. He's not just not overrated, he's rated as a total failure. Kuzma is easily the most overrated on the Wizards, because many see him as a very good player who could move the needle on a contender,. But he really is exactly that volume shooter people expected Poole to be. Kuzma basically has become what Poole was supposed to be, a medium sized fish who looks huge in this puddle of a team.

D. White being the most overrated player on the Celtics is nonsense, especially when you compare his production and contract to some of his teammates' production and contracts. Too many people focus on stats when it comes to whether a player is All-Star worthy. There's a reason why most contending teams would much rather trade for Alex Caruso than Zach Lavine, even before the latter got injured this year.

However, if Lillard did not deserve to make the NBA 75, who did? There are plenty of snubs in the list, including Dwight Howard, Vince Carter, Dikembe Mutombo, Pau Gasol, Manu Ginobili, Tracy McGrady, Tony Parker, Alex English and Klay Thompson. Lillard has gone from guy who needs quality teammates to probably the most overrated player in the history of the NBA.

The trouble with making an overrated players list (especially after a trade deadline) is it could be a fit problem, role change, transition, or, like with Randle, everyone already knows what they're getting.

Spurs fan here. When Dejounte was on the Spurs, all he did was chase steals. He looked great on the box score but rarely locked anyone up. He produced a lot of tipped passes, but that was about it. Many Spurs fans, including myself, were surprised at how highly his on-ball defense was rated when he joined the Hawks.

Cade Cunningham is hands down the most overrated player on the pistons! He cannot shoot, doesn’t play defense, turns the ball over at a really high ratio, and gets hurt constantly. The guy is getting paid big money and was a former #1 pick. If we’re doing a draft do-over, I would easily take Barnes, Mobley, Sengun, and Jalen Johnson all over him.
