Looks like Winston is teething. If you get some beef broth and put it in ice trays to freeze, it will help him not eat your hands so much. That stage keeps your hand scratched up.
Great campsite! Hotdogs look so good and taste extra good on an open fire! The bundle of wood really made a lot of cense for fire building. Happy Camping

Hey…it happens sooner or later to all of us when we make a list for grocery shopping. Well..shucks. We end up having to do the best you can with what you have on hand when cooking at times.
Solitude Point is about 20 minutes or so from where we live. We are off highway 11 in Sunset SC. I was raised 5 minutes from where you are staying. Very few places in all those woods I haven’t stepped on. Been in this area since 1963.
When your deep in the Carolina woods expect the big hairy guy to visit in the middle of the night. I think I'll stay in my condo overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. My biggest worry is getting stuck on the elevator.
That is so true. An 0:27 online friend jumped all over me for something I said. I could have jumped back but it was nothing important. I said instead, are you OK. I could feel his shame at jumping when he said I am so sorry, having a rough day. Then we talked about it and came out much better for it. God is so good when you stop and let Him.

Beautiful campground, peace and quiet and hot dogs were perfect just needed some cheese on it... my husband puts peanut butter and pickles on his hot dog.... always love your fireside chat and God Bless you all, thanks for taking us along...

Lol, I love it. I like my hotdogs with chili (we call it sauce here in Eastern Ky). But when we roast them on the fire we like just mustard and onions. 😂 Mike you own this one. 😂
If you can find custard stand chili comes in a white plastic container it is very good homemade taste chilli made here in wv you should try it if you can find it
The campground is so Beautiful. 😂 I have done that too many times to count. I think I put what I need on the list and didn’t. Thankfully we can laugh make due and move on
