I have the L2501 DT and I love it! I got the manual transmission because I hate the hydrostatic drive system on a farm tractor. I also added the 3rd function hydraulics so I can use a grapple.

The L series, you have to rear PTO any mower. The B series you can have one underneath. That’s honestly how I decided 😅

Great job on this review. I have the L2501 and love it. I bought mine sight unseen and was concerned if 25 hp would be enough power or if I would find it lacking. It is not lacking. Very snappy little tractor. Mine is the gear drive with the R1 or ag tires. Mine is a tractor for use on my farm. The current base MSRP for this machine - L2502HST w/LA526 loader- is $25,655. That is with Ag (R1 Tires) and no options and not including current promotions as they change regularly. There is currently 0% for 84 months financing available! Obviously this is all subject to change.

R14 unless its a farm tractor.

The new R4 pattern is more of hybrid, for that reason we've stopped stocking the more expensive R14, but that is just for our applications in Indiana.
