Thomas, whenever you mention technical specifications (like the 7,2 kW recharging speed (3:58), the 0-100 acceleration time or the maximum horsepower etc), please write it on the video as a text graphic with a big font so the information is provided both visually and acoustically.

Thomas, if you go on the highway in electric mode (11:55) and then ask for the maximum acceleration of a cold engine, the car will give you some acceleration but it will also try to protect the engine which is not yet fully lubricated. You need to switch to hybrid mode at least 1 minute earlier to allow the ICE to warm up a little. You will then feel it when the car gives you its maximum acceleration. Whenever the ICE is started for the 1st time, it will run without stopping for 1 minute in order to warm up and only then it will allow the ICE to be turned off and activate the hybrid drive. @@mathairufus you are right but only up to a point. The reviewer hasn't done anything that the car doesn't allow. Any driver can ask for power on a cold engine with their car. And the car was designed to withstand being handled like that. The engines inside PHEV cars have [some] different components than their non-hybrid equivalents.
maereanm But after watching many car reviews to see how automobile journalists abuse ( I am not against them) review cars( Suspension & Engine) I decide that I will never buy a ( 10k kms used car from Manufacturer) What is your opinion on Suspension abuse & Engine abuse on non hybrid cars, does it leave any mark on the car for rest of it’s life?
Great review on a SUV that I want and can’t have in the US. VW gave us the Cross Sport. Very nice but it’s not a Touareg. I have a 2017 V6. Cross Sport driving does not compare to the Audi/Porsche /Touareg. I’m left with leasing a Q7 orQ8 to replace my Touareg. I like the understated Touareg best. Are you listening VW?. Again Thomas is at the top of his game in reviews. Envious of Europe and their choices in cars.

I’ve been driving VW cars seance the year of 2000 and I love VW cars, VW should send that BS Atlas back where it came from and bring that beautiful Touareg back to the US and it’ll be nice if that Touareg have twinTurbo and I will definitely own one!!!!
Aaaaagh, i love this car so much It seems that it's better than bmw, mercedes, audi etc...... It's a high performance cat and the top version cost arround 83,000€ Who agree ???

They should put that version of the Active Info Display in their other models. The “2.0” version of the regular AID looks really odd with the fuel/oil temp gauges on the side. The first gen AID looked much better
I can only dream this will be available in the USA. Sad no more. WHY?? USA drivers want this vehicle WE WANT THE VW TAUREG. WE also want the regular VW Golf!! Please VW bring the TAUREG and the regular Golf back to the USA.
goddamnit give us physical buttons for climate and volume..... I do not want to search in a touch screen for these things.... this is exactly why I will get the X5 over this one
