@@iremiabliss computers even the smaller handhelds throw the phones out of the water in power as in the steam deck and Aya Neo can emulate swich perfectly while phones are focused on battery life they aren't that focused on performance except for d 900 and sd 888 and sd gen 1.

@@KallutoZoldyck before 8 gen-1 devices (with legit cooling capabilities) came along, there were a lot of concern that we've hit a wall with emulation capabilities on smartphones. Taki in one of his recent videos stated himself that smartphones with higher processors will not be sustainable because of overheating. Now after seeing how Nubia, Xiaomi and other gaming phone manufacturers can overcome the overheating/thermal throttling problems with more advanced cooling systems like carbon graphite, smart air vents, internal fans and improved fun coolers, things are going to get even exciting for us. Now, I'm feeling even more hopeful and positive about emulation devs coming up with an app that can legit play PS3/Xbox games in Android devices cause 8 Gen-1 can take it.

@@tranquility6789 not at all. Even PS2/GC/Wii games are able to run with better frame rates and higher resolution thanks to the higher CPU & GPU capabilities. Can you imagine playing Spiderman-2 and Ultimate Spiderman with smooth frame rates in Dolphin with HD settings?

Get the Sony Xperia 5 iii, that has an OLED Screen, a SD 888 (Maybe the Gen 1 when the Xperia 5 iiii comes out) and a Headphone Jack and SD Slot, you get the Flagship performance, with an SD Slot and Headphone Jack. Sony Xperia phones are really underrated TBH.

No Matter how many stuff i install (60% i never really use tbh) doesnt consume 128gig of storage, i would never ever need more, and If so there is a 256gb version for most phones as well

@@kewa_design Got a 245 GB Sd card on my phone. RU-vid takes up around 50GB, with the videos I download on wifi (so I don't need to use data) around 6GB for music. And the rest is filled with about six ps2 and ten-game cube games. Maybe you don't need it but yeah, less than 500GB is far too small for many people.

Gamecube is 1.46GB big, and Wii can be from 1GB to 9Gb (with most being three GB) Now Let's say you only download the hit Games of all of them. (No smaller titles or lesser-known ones, mostly Nintendo) You have under 56 GB of 3ds, Gamecube, and Wii games. (Let's forget about the 120 apps for know) That would be (using the best case scenario) About 3 Top Wii games (not using Brawl) So about 12GB About three 3ds games, so again, about 12GB (Already at 24GB) And around nine-game cube games are a good set of GameCube games. Also, around 12GB Making our total around 36GB. Now this is me using only 3 Wii and 3ds Games (The smaller ones, so no Mario Galaxy or Brawl) or (Any Monster Hunter for 3ds) This is also be hoping that your game cube games are compressed, making them around 1.24GB in size when most of the time they would be 1.46GB and guessing that you only picked 9. So around 15 good games. About 36GB That's no Ps2, Ps1, N64, Saturn, Dreamcast, PSP, Big Wii or 3ds games, and Switch. And it takes up 36gb but hey maybe you have one of each console. I say this because I don't believe you. But to also show you that having games on your phone take up a lot of space. Also wasting money on unlimited plans? Well good for you I guess.

Not really. The Tegra X1 that the Switch uses is nearly 7 years old. It's a glorified mobile phone processor. The only surprise is that it hasn't happened sooner.

How are people so addicted? Also, use CHDMAN for Dreamcast roms and Dolphin on a pc to compress GC and Wii isos.

@@CLOYO All my ROMs are already CHD. Dreamcast set is still ~400GB by itself. GameCube is closer to 1TB by itself. CHD is a compression format - it's not a miracle.

The phone does have a 512 GB version, but if you want the 18GB RAM model, it's only available in 256 GB.

The past two flagship Samsung tablets have come out with hard 90⁰ edges, and the s22ultra is far more squared off than they have been in recent years, I am sure that we're heading back into the squared off bezels.... for a few years at least, until they can release rounded/curved edges as new again lol

@@collinsgichuhi8255 And what does product price have to do with R&D? Do you know how much it cost Nokia to engineer the phone so it could have that card slot? Not only that. Do you know how much those parts cost or add in manufacturing costs? Having something like a micro SD card slot in a phone also means you have to have some sort of controller for it, extra circuitry to handle voltages and so on. You also need a connector for that which needs to be designed and factored into the logic board. Connectors, buttons and switches are the most expensive things in devices. Phones have been losing things like headphone jacks and the like to save costs.

@@BrunodeSouzaLino your comment has no point. There is NO excuse for phone companies that make high performance phones (flagships) not to include an SD card slot. Power users like myself and alot of other people that have been using Android for years want and need an SD card slot. It would cost a company a tiny amount of money to add it in. The SD card slot and also the headphone jack is necessary really for the perfect phone in my opinion

You need more ram to compile those textures at a higher resolution. Native games for android dont need it tho.

I think the difference is really in the maturity of x86 emulators compared to ARM

@@TakiUdon ps2 is faster because aethersx2 is very different to pcsx2. I would bet that pcsx2 features more accurate emulation though.

The switch hardware was obsolete even back when it launched, since there were phones releasing in 2017-2018 that could already outperform the Switch since they had better processors and specs overall. The Nintendo Switch had to be extremely cheap to manufacture as it's often the case with portable consoles whereas these flagship phones often crossed the $1000 mark so that's that I guess, but that's the reason why Switch emulation picked up so quickly since we already have better hardware than the Switch to test it on, on both the PC and Smartphone markets. It's just a matter of time until these emulators get improved so much to the point that Switch games will look and play much better being emulated than on original hardware

@@robertsmith20022 i mostly use dolphin for gamecube games i haven't even messed with the wii emulation on it so i can't help you with that but just mess around with each setting individually to see what changes and you should get it optimized and running fine

@@avrhamcom Sonic Mania is the most accurate, but everything you saw was running in skyline. I just bought and was really hopeful for Infernax running so I can leave the switch at home, but even a lot of 2D stuff just caves. EggNS uses stolen code from both Yuzu and Ryujinx. Instead of thievery, Skyline is based on a multitude of open source properties, and has been in open development since 2019. EggNS is only fast because it is literally a janky port of the fastest, most accurate emulator available for the Switch.
