Nice video, as always! For Trevelyan, you are only able to damage him ONCE after each time he stops, then after first hit, he becomes invincible until he stops again, that's why it seemed like he had so much health, but if you run ahead of him (to where he makes his next stop) and shoot him upon arrival, you'll see he really has not much health at all! Kudos on the Domino glitch for Baron Samedi!
I laughed my ass off the first time my friend showed me that domino glitch. I guess it's funny to see someone trying to have the last laugh get taken down a notch.
Here's a trick that makes the Trevelyan fight much easier: Use the 1.2 control scheme, with moving diagonally for extra speed. Moving diagonally in 007 is actually much faster than just holding one C button.
So I think Trev is invincible in between cutscene damage. Like you can bring his health down until he speaks and then he becomes invincible until he reaches another point where he turns around and starts shooting at you again.
that seems to be right, ive shot him with fully automatic weapons dealing hits i couldent even count, then ive specificly sniped him with the PP7 only at the places he stops, and it killed him in way fewer hits, i think what essentially happens is he has like 3 different health bar values, and they must all match the same percentage with one another, but the situation will determine what health bar will be receiving damage, so before he starts the cradle controls its health bar three thats at lets say 30K health, while moving its health bar two with 3K health, and at attack locations its health bar 1 with 300 health, meaning the best time to deal damage is when hes not moving and is waiting for you, take your gun and snipe him in the head for extra damage then chase him some more.
I swear that Samedi's laugh haunts and will forever haunt me as much as a few other video game characters laughs over the years. (Kefka, Mr. Sandman/Zelda II incarnation Ganon, Ocarina of Time Ganondorf...) Though the going through a stage with max enemy stats thing, I do believe I've seen done once or twice before (though admittedly ages ago) on a few stages. Slappers only too. It was absolutely crazy, heh.
Could you possibly take a look at the Demi-Fiend boss version from SMT Digital Devil Saga? He's STUPID difficult. Good choice for this series, in my opinion.
In regards to 15:59 And I thought using the All Guns and Infinite Ammo cheats, then proceeding to decorate the hallway with proximity mines in order to "kill" Samedi was stylish...
I've returned to this video seven years later, and oddly its because I've grown older since then like I like this video more, a testament to this channel's rewatchability.
I think I shall tell Husky a few ideas for IMBA League: 150% health mode, 200% health mode, 300% health mode, and (if you want to overkill it) 1000% heal mode.
Did you know there's a way to deal 0 damage with the Golden Gun? Just shoot someone in the gun. They'll recoil like they took damage but as we know there's no way someone survives a Golden bullet anywhere on the body.
Have you played the Golden Eye remake? ...ohhhh maaaaaaan he can take hits, while you have to hide behind these computers and try avoiding getting hit by soldiers that keep on respawning over and over and over again.
Oh Git, the crazy shite you go through for our amusement, lol. I would not have had the patience to karate chop a guard that many times or shot Alec with that many magnum rounds just to prove a point, hats off to you. xD
Depends on whether damage is minimized to 0 or 1. Julius definitely wins in the case of the former because he cuts ATK in half and thus won't even be hurt by Alec. Otherwise, he's damn slow and thus Alec will likely shoot Julius dead while running circles around him.
Yknow I never did understand that opening where bond or whatever shoots the camera. Cuz it looks like someone is looking through a gun barrel.... he shoots, and blood slowly comes down and covers the screen. So, was the guy who got shot cleaning his gun, peeking through the barrel, and just gets murdered? Or was there a tiny man inside the barrel that got shot so bad he flooded the gun. Idfk it’s always baffled me
Wanna prove a point, Git? Double Golden Gun + paintball mode, they'll probably look like gummy bears in the end. No one will blame you for cheating for science
Can someone tell me how the hell Alec doesn't look like Swiss cheese? Especially given that he was shot for *33 and a half minutes straight* with 2 Magnums? At nearly point blank range?
man what you saying at final is nothing after i beat the crap out of him at night i had a nightmare that the 2 made a fusion and really it was a hell i will never play a 007 game again in my life
What's not? I agree it's dated now, but it was innovative when it came out 16 years ago. I'm not sure what you mean by 'an old school gamer wouldn't like this game if they played it for the first time recently', that's quite a blanket assertion. Taste is a fickle thing, after all.
Who cares what 'jontron' or whoever thinks? Goldeneye is an amazing and groundbreaking game. Saying something is 'overrated' is a meaningless criticism.
Samedi is just as bad as the movie he's from he survives somehow also you can also blow Samedi up with well placed mines (you can also do this in any mission in the game)
Before I got to 3:09, I was pretty sure you were cheating judging from the fact that each gun you equipped had over 100 bullets in stock, and that every time you reloaded the ammo stock didn't go down. I'm glad some people cheat, I don't mean that to be hurtful or anything, but I'm a cheater in games too like Duke Nukem: Time to Kill.
