I dont think that works since the card reads "Bloodthirster cant attack an opponent it's already attacked this turn" And since the card that gets copied also has the name Bloodthirster it wouldnt have a valid target. I can't find an official ruling on it though
@@dispozablehero9829 I used to think that too, but in Magic, when a card references its name, it is only referring to itself. So each Bloodthirster you have can attack each opponent. With Helm of the Host, you make a new Bloodthirster each combat. That's why it goes infinite, providing you can deal combat damage.
Hey, I just wanted to say I built this deck because of you, and played it with my friends tonight. It was insanely strong and insanely fun. Thank you so much for this deck-tech. I'm definitely subscribing for more 👌 UPDATE: This deck is now banned at my table 😂
Building a more spellslinger type deck with this guy considering all the new demons that interact with instants and sorceries but this deck is too awesome to not consider
Man I can’t resist the temptation to cast giant demons especially when our commander allows them to do damage as soon as we cast them. I’ve debated building a magnus the red deck it seems insane especially if we add x spells into the mix!!
Im going to turn my Abaddon deck into a more demon tribal focussed deck and i will use this video as guidance. I will keep abaddon as commander though since i like the cascade mechanic. I hope that it will work out. I’ve had many iterations with abaddon and i hope that this will be one that i will be happy with. I will let you know how it performs :).
Also Rite of Replication and Be'lakor is usually an instant win. Target Be'lakor with Rite (kicked). Make 5 tokens that see each other enter. Each does 24(4x6) damage, and the original does 30(5x6) damage. 5x24=120 120+30=150 damage to blaze the table. Usually enough to kill everyone.
Had no idea it worked like that honestly thought you’d only get the trigger off the og belakor that’s ridiculously broken. Tbf 9 mana should win you the game I guess Ty for adding this
This is very dangerous, since he makes you lose life when he enters, you can kill yourself! When entering, lose X life where X is the number of Demins you control. 5 copies all.triggering means -25 life and the original also counting since all the tokens have the same name for a loss of 30 life in total. However considering the nature of Demons, it's a perfectly lore friendly ending.
Have been playing with a printed proxy of this deck for a small while, just realised its got two "Temple of Deceit"s in it after I scryed one with the other. Might want to update the moxfield deck list. Switch out for sol ring?
Rite of Replication + Warstorm Surge + Fiery Emancipation is a very silly combo in this deck. Kick copy Be’lakor, turns into 540 damage divided into a bunch of 18’s however you choose. Math is as follows: Be’lakor’s demon ETB trigger has each copy deal damage to something, this triggers a total of 25 times thanks to the five copies triggering each other, so 150. Add in Warstorm Surge, that’s another 30, for 180. Fiery Emancipation triples that to 540. And there’s probably other ETB damage triggers you can add to make it even sillier.
Some of the Cards I’m playing in my build that are doing a ton of work are Reanimate Incarnation technique Windfall Wheel of Fortune Wheel of Misfortune Vampiric Tutor Demonic Tutor Mystical Tutor Black Market Connections Molten Echoes Anger
@@decktechsfordecks yeah, also nice the changelings count as demons but it can really start to strain your life total, but that’s where things like whip of erebos and Raphael come in handy. Also stinging study is very good in here. But my 3 favorite creatures are probably Vilis, Razaketh, and Lord Xander
Man if you have the budget sower of discord and archfiend of despair would be insane in this deck I love razaketh I’ve got that alligator tailed beast in my Korvold deck
@@decktechsfordecks yeah both are very good also really liking lord of the void and silent blade oni but unfortunately and play all the big bois due to their insane mana costs. Gyruda and demonlord benzelnok are also surprisingly synergistic in the deck
I'm building a version of the deck with Gyruda as companion and a ton of clone effects. She is a demon so if I clone her 3 times in a turn by reanimating clones with her ability, I'm I mediately doing 18 damage.
Did you just call Magnus, father of the Thousand Sons, a "her"? I mean yeah, he is the Prince of Chaos of the Lord of Change, so his genitals are probably like a Schrodinger's box kinda situation literally, but STILL
@@decktechsfordecks I don't even play the game, just follow the lore and books. It's a WILD world that make's Magic's Lore look shallow by comparison. I'm trynna build this deck tho!
All over the place? It’s a demon tribal deck with a recursion package and wheel effects to fill the grave. Seems pretty straight forward to me you may be over looking it. But I appreciate the feedback!
@@decktechsfordecks magnus is not a female. its Mortarion and he's a demon primarch. you've misread a lot....you'll have 40k nerds jumping all over you
Just wake up everyday and do my best lol if it makes you feel better I don’t discriminate I’ll miss pronounce magic cards too lmao That’s pretty dope i did not know that!
