personally even with the design flaws i like the isd 1 and 2 the most. reason being i feel like they manage to capture the empires ideology in its design. for example its bridge being super exposed towering above the rest of the ship symbolizes the hierarchical nature of the empire, the two shield bulbs being near the bridge symbolizes how the empire prioritizes the protection of its hire ups above all, the reactor at the bottom symbolizes the defense honestly i think all this was intentional because if you look at the mon cal ships design like the home one for example you will see the same trend. their bridge tower being alot lower and closer to the hull symbolizes more equality between the leadership and the rest of the crew, their focus on defense and the fact that their shields are alot more evenly spread symbolizes that they prioritize the defense of every one equally and that they prioritize things like defense and diplomacy over force and aggression. admittedly i dont know where the reactor on the home one is so no theory on that ones meaning however one thing i will note is though its hard to see in the movies the home one actually has multiple colors on its hull. it has whites, greys, reds, and even some blues. this obviously symbolizes the rebellions diversity.

You want to give people incentive to join the Rebellion because all your stuff is "generously donated" to some gigantic warship? I know slave labor's a big thing for the Empire, but taking _everything_ they always want can have a bad effect down the line.

To be fair, he's saying Executor and not Executor. Ex-eh-cue-tor vs Ex-ek-u-tor. They're pronouncing the word executor like it's an executioner but they're not saying that word. Still very wrong and it bothered me more than it should. Executor - "a person or institution appointed by a testator to carry out the terms of their will." Executioner - "an official who carries out a sentence of death on a legally condemned person."

@@schlaghappy it bothered me so much my brain actively tried to black out every time he said... Whatever he said. The pronunciation would dictate with meaning it is. And he kept using the wrong one. I don't know why it bothered me so much, but I couldn't finish the video, and likely will never open it again.

The Eclipse in Disney cannon is mostly unknown. Many think it's another Executor class SSD like the Executor itself and the Ravager in the Battle of Jakku.

The Ravager was defeated by gravity as a disabled starhawk cruiser used it's tractor beam to pull the ship down with its engines destroyed nothing stopped her from falling
