the thing to consider with the Kirin chip, is that it's a 2020 chip. 2 generations behind essentially, used in the Mate 40 pro phones. it's unsurprising that it's either last or 5th

I am surprised that even after being a 2020 chipset Kirin is a beast. Imagine if we could have a 2022 new Kirin chip. I miss those good old days where Huawei was my go to choice for android section. Damn you restrictions!

If only you could unlock the bootloader on a Huawei phone, those restrictions would be nothing ! That's why freedom is so important on a phone, and why Asus, One plus, Motorola Google and Xiaomi are the best brands for Smartphones. Samsung is okay as well

@@Jbrimbelibap Samsung is slowly becoming like Apple, with making bootloader unlocking almost impossible, and crippling features if you try to modify the phones (disabling of features like Samsung Pass, Secure Folder, tripping Knox e-fuse, Cameras...) Google is overall the best, giving you the feature to lock the bootloader while running a custom ROM, giving you extra security even if you're not running the stock OS.

@@Dullification new snapdragons are trash , in POCO F4 GT with SD8gen 1 after 30min play call of duty , it crash from 60 frame to 30 Snapdragons very bad overclocked for win in benchmarks, but in real world they are very hot now all dimensity is world NO1 (for games,heavy works)

You should do a peak performance test that's exactly the same but you place a Black Shark cooler on all of them located around where the SoC is. This will show you what the peak performance of the device could be if it had better cooling.

In fact I have the 22U with exynow 2200 and the performance varies a lot depending on temperature in hot environment it scores around 700/2900 while in cooler places it outperforms snapdragon @ 1179/3686

You should enable performance mode in Mate 40 Pro (Kirin 9000) then ANTUTU results will be above than 800K and multi core in geekback also 40% more. This is not a fair comparison without enabling the performance mode in Huawei's devices.

The Mediatek Dimensiity 9000 has a lot to offer for andriod phones BUT, the problem is thermal throttling. Phones with decent cooling don't use the chipset which makes it fall behind

I never heard of Dimensity 9000 phones not having good cooling??? I actually saw that this chipset is outperforming snapdragon 8 gen 1 because the snapdragon chipset is overheating and the phones don't have good cooling for it maybe you are getting it switched.

This is kinda hilarious, I saw this video on my feed at the end of March, where I was about to get the iPhone 13 Pro Max. That is where I discovered this channel & watched some of the iPhone13 videos. These are some of the last videos I watched before my purchase, definitely in the top 10! The battery is so good in this phone that I tend to forget about it. I charge once every few days because the charge the phone gets here and there while driving is enough to not have to charge at home for a few days.

I love the fact that the apple's A15 BIONIC chip has helped in improving the battery life a lot more. And from the user reviews of the iPhone 13 (and IPhone 13 pro, pro max), I have noticed that majority of the people have mentioned the improved battery life and how easily it lasts for almost more than a day. This was some serious in depth comparison we all needed! 😌💯

In my opinion, you chosed the top of the line from all brands except Huawei and took a device that was released in 2020. For a fairer comparison, You should have chosen the Huawei Mate 40 Pro Plus which is the best and would do better in the tests or you could even choose the 2021 P50 Pro Plus . Out of this its a good comparison

Geekbench tests the real computing power of the Chipset,, undoing anything related to software, A15 has a 32 MB SLC there is nothing in the Android World the P-Cores boast 12 MB of Cache while 8gen1, has Only 1MB of Cache and SLC of 8MB, not the comparison here.

Something wrong with D9000 here. In Vivo X80 Pro it gets 1300 single core score and 4200 multicore in geekbench, and doesn't throttle at all in 3DMark Wildlife

s22U, exynos, 12GB, Μy last ANTUTU test without overclocking in a normal situation my phone came out 914701 with overclocking touched 93000++, a performance I consider extremely good. I don't think there is a person who can perceive a difference in Chip and speed of 5-15%, and the difference with Snapdragon k Exynos is 5-10%. Unfortunately European Exynos users will have to wait for Samsung's scheduled upgrades which usually take 6-8 months from the model announcement date.

@@alternatecheems8145 An incredibly useful tech tool and finding the performance of a chipset, used extensively by tech reviewers on RU-vid, but I will completely disregard the results because someone told me on the internet they "ain't shit" lmfao. cmon man lets be real with eachother, they give a great insight into the performance of a processor and those results directly reflect in speed tests, obviously if one app opens a few ms quicker it could be due to software but in terms of actual app and game performance, those results from the benchmarking apps are useful and representative. You realise if apple took a snapdragon processor they could also optimise it for their software. It isn't that apple processors are more 'capable of optimisation' but its that apple HAS indeed optimised then, but the raw performance is there, and the raw performance of the (now A16) surpasses anything on the android side of things.

You should have used Vivo X80 series for D9000 instead of Oppo X5 pro coz Oppo tuned down the performance of the D9000 version bcoz of the Snapdragon 8 gen 1 version

Turning performance mode on Huawei could impact the results significantly, my Mate 30 Pro was faster than that 40 Pro in Geekbench 5 Edit: it’s also much faster than your Mate 40 in Geekbench ML, in fact it would score the 3rd place in your test. Also, you’re just testing CPU, Geekbench ML can also test your GPU for machine learning and, most importantly, your NPU. Would be nice to see that in the next tests Edit2: yeah, you should definitely try performance mode with Kirin, my 990 is able to retain 99,5% in Wild Life Extreme stress test

Also, Ive found that enhanced processing or whatever it’s now called on Samsung can boost Exynos’ ML performance, you could try that too (my 3 year old 9825 gets only a 27 point lower score than that 2200)

...some scores seem to depend significantly on single device or testing conditions... After killing many other Apps and pausing between tests my S22 U (Exynos 2200) scored 1200/3700 on Geekbench and 985K on AnTuTu!... But even in none-ideal conditions, I never really got a single-core under 1K... Seems you got a bit unlucky on the S22-device... Still a great job! Keep up!

That's how I find the Exynos 2200 to be - a large difference between a good one and a bad one. My guess is that Samsung has such a bad yield with the 4nm chips and such a high demand, that they chose to lower the standard of what gets into a phone. I also got lucky enough to get one that performs well (~1160/3600 Geekbench), though it did dip below 1000 once for single-core (though not nearly as low as in this video).

The actual problem seems to be the manufacturing process in combination with the rather aggressive throttling/ underclocking of Samsung (for the sake of longivity)... Otherwise I can't complain about my E2200, it is noticeably faster than my previous with SD865 and runs with ease all apps/ games that I've thrown to it, until now.

A15 Bionic makes 900 in Single core using LPM Mode, extremely powerful and in any Application of everyday use you can use the low consumption mode.

@@SergioWolf843 sure but this is not really a fair comparison since bionic, being a 6 core instead of 8 can still "afford" to beef up the big cores more than the androids... But this is old stuff now and and the bionic will be the only chip till Q3-2024 on 3nm and thus will demolish the competition... at least till then...

@@sourav7162 boy bias asf when A15 literally solod every chip on that list. A15 never touched last place,, it took 1st place 4 times with high amounts to cover and always stay in balanced middle. A15 built diff, it still shows that apple got some diff quality shyt compared to these new chips they still all the same compared to iphone

It’s still trash I got a 13 to try it out being more a fan of android and it’s definitely not worth it android app support is way longer I got a old iPad it can’t even use apps anymore cause it’s obselete never would that happen on android
