Thank you all for watching the video, here's some info you might want to know below: The Gibdo Bone does more damage when you throw the weapon but the bone breaks after 1 hit even if you are mounted on a Lynel, that's why I recommended to you guys that you go with the Molduga bone because it doesn't break when you're mounted on a Lynels back. Disclaimer: The 2 clips of me killing a Lynel and a Gleeok with one shot were faked using a damage multiplier cheat. Correction: In the video, I said “3 Labyrinths” but there are actually 9. Sorry for the mistake. Here's a true list of all the enemies you can one shot with this weapon: 1. Molduga 2. All Hinox 3. All Constructs 4. Master Kohga 5. All Boss Talus' 6. All Horriblins 7. All Flux Constructs 8. All Like Likes 9. All Lizalfos 10. All Moblins 11. All Bokoblins 12. All Octoroks 13. All Wizzrobes 14. Yiga Blademaster 15. Yiga Footslider 16. Aerocuda 17. Evermean 18. Gibdo and Moth Gibdo 19. Little Frox 20. All Baby Talus' 21. All Chuchus 22. All Boss Frox 23. All Keese
"The Gibdo Bone does more damage when you throw the weapon but the bone breaks after 1 hit even if you are mounted on a Lynel" Came to the comments to ask why you said go with the Molduga bone over the Gibdo bone, but I see you already covered that. Thanks!
Different shadow soldiers have different weapons they can spawn. Royal Guard is *only* found in three locations: Eventide, Gerudo Highlands, and the mountain east of the castle, Mount Crenel iirc.
@@Dumb_Dash The point was that your information about the Royal Guard Claymore being able to spawn at any Ghost Solider was false. That is not how it works.
Great tutorial! I never expected that you would have such a low number of subs based on the video quality alone. The explanations were very clear, especially showing exactly where to find the pristine and decayed claymores
Great video! I would like to add some helpful recipe advice: As mentioned, 4 Mighty bananas is all you need for max attack. If you don't have a dragon horn, just add a fifth food item to prolong the effect (an egg or goron spice are best). You can prolong effects even more if you cook during the last 30 in-game minutes before a blood moon (23:30 - 0:00) for a guaranteed bonus which has a chance to either add 3 more hearts to the recovery or 5 minutes to the duration. You can tell if you get the bonus by the different tune and the gong sound effect.
Excellent work on this video. I have been playing since the release date, just enjoying and not rushing since Zelda is really the only game I play seriously. I'm finished with all the exploration and am now at the point where I seek nuance in the challenges of battle. I used to avoid them, now I seek them. Your video has inspired me to experiment more with strategy in the form of offense. This was seriously great. Exceptionally put together and articulate and pleasant to listen to as well!
Really informative video with super clear instructions, way better than most tutorials. You even took a moment to highlight potentially missed steps in case a viewer messed up somewehere. Surprised you don't have more subs.

If you get the wrong weapon and going back to the save file doesn’t work, you could force a blood moon. There are vids on this. Also, the gerudo canyon mine in the depths also spawns pristine royal guards weapons, including the sword and spear
@@Dumb_Dashsave and reload only works if you're in the late game, earlier on you don't have enough experience for a weapon to naturally spawn with golden modifiers. In that case, octorocks are the only option
Well it's not a glitch, so they left this possibility open for people to figure out. Plenty of things in the game "break the game" as far as balance, but it's how they intended it to be.
You rock! I was able to get the Royal Sword with a + 9. I attached the Muldago brought it up to 75. I'm putting on the Evil Spirit Armor, eat my bananas and ready to hunt Lynels. I still need to learn how to mount the Lynels. Awesome post, thumbs up and I'm subscribing. You Da Man.
“Now I Am Become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds” SHEEEESH! Bro made a straight up nuke. This game is so freakin cool with the variety of tricks tal can come up with
This info is slightly off. The atk boost from food comes in lv 1,2, or 3 yes, but lv 3 atk up is not a 3x multiplier. Its 1.5x multiplier. So its skewed all your calculations, roughly doubling the actual output. So your damage is actually half of what you estimated. Still enough to kill a lynel in one cycle, as well as one shot almost all silver enemies and overworld boss variants.
That, but he could just puff a Lynel and then sneak attack with it for a even bigger multiplier. I prefer to actually to do the mechanics with parrying and dodging though so much more satisfying and easier to me.
I feel sorry for the lynels and also nice that you dont have to do any glitches to get it

Great video ! Just one question (please excuse my bad english, I'm actually french) : do we really need to get a pristine weapon ? Because the only difference with the decayed one seems to be durability, wich is useless in this case cause we're hitting the claymore to the breaking point anyway ?
Yes we do unless you want quite a bit lower attack rate. The regular royal guards claymore has a starting damage of 32, and the pristine version has a starting damage of 39, and thats before we get the +10 attack boost. Hope this helps :) also thanks for watching the video!
The real damage of the decayed version is 34 and the real damage of the pristine version is 42. All two-handed weapons deal more damage than the inventory says they do due to a hidden 0.95x multiplier on shown weapon damage, which also rounds down to create an even larger disparity between the shown value and the true value. This multiplier also applies to Fuse damage and the Attack Up modifier damage, causing that additional damage to actually be ~5% higher than the shown damage in the inventory. This becomes important at the very upper levels of attack boosts, involving multiple modifiers and damage multipliers. Without this hidden damage boost, the strongest Royal Guard’s Claymore when thrown could only deal 1441 damage, which isn’t enough to kill a Molduga. With the hidden damage multiplier, it deals 1522 damage, which is enough to kill a Molduga.
The reverse is the case for spears, which all deal ~25% less damage than the inventory says. This massively affects spears when you factor in all the damage boosts, due to the disparity between the shown value and true value of damage only increasing exponentially with every additional multiplier you factor in. The Lightscale Trident is capable of the highest total damage of any spear when Link is wet. If the values in the inventory were true, then it could reach 334 damage per hit normally. In reality, it can only reach 253 damage per hit normally.
Hi, this doesn't have anything to do with this video but i see you have 900+ of almost everything. Do you have a video on how to duplicate food and Ruby's ? Thanks 😊
I'm currently trying this out at the coliseum, but the Lynels keep throwing me off after a few swings. What's worse, is that everytime they do, I wind up smashing the weapon on the ground when I land, breaking it.
Question! I followed this video exactly, and two things. 1) my attack after getting this exact royal guard's claymore, it said the attack was +10, I put in the Evil Spirit Armor and fused to molduga jaw, it only had the attack ay 79. 2) The hitting the fused weapon on the ground until it gave the low durability message did nothing. And after hitting it two more times it just broke. So, what gives? Is this trick no longer viable, or did I mess up somewhere?
I think they may have patched the save duping to get the +10 damage because I’ve been trying for 30min and I haven’t gotten a single buff. No durability, no long throw etc
Can I feed the sword to a rock octorock if it won’t get +10 because mine isn’t a getting a boost when I pick it up I have been trying and I kept getting Durability and now I got attack +5 because I have picked up the weapon like 7 times and nothing has been added to it
I saved in front of the royal guards claymore. But every time I try to pick it up it just says 39 and doesn't have anything extra. So it doesn't say attack up 10 or anything else. It's just 39. Did I do something wrong or?
I have a question my royal guard claymore says 98 damage once I fuse the gibdo bone on but it became no longer badly damaged and when I hit it on the ground would it break I just am confused do I hit it of do I leave it like that
Great video. Thank you. Can't seem to get the damage above 160. Have the radiant set upgraded to three stars, have the pristine royal guards claymore with the 9+ additional damage (got impatient waiting for the 10+ . . . ), fused molduga jaw. Two additional strikes after the damage warning. Ate the mighty bananas meal. Still just reads as 160 damage. Did I miss anything? Thank you.
It will do the damage still it just doesn’t show it on menu. It gives a bunch of hidden damage boosts just like how if your weapon is (30) and it’s low damage it won’t show the 2x damage boost but it is there
Can you show how to use the gibdo bone instead of the molduga jaw, because I try to fuse it after getting the claymore to the last hit and I keep getting 89 damage
Ah, i think that might be happening because fusing items unlocks 25 more hits for the base weapon. Fuse something cheap (red bokoblin horn for example), then wear the weapon down to the last hit, de-fuse and then fuse the gibdo bone.
I keep reloading the save but can't seem to get any bonus at all on the royal guardian claymore? Is it just a matter of loading hundreds of times or have I missed something?
Same. I'm wondering why. I did it over 20 times nada. Now I'm like I might as well look it up if I'm doing something wrong rip or maybe it's an update thing. Edit : I posted this same question on Reddit and everyone is saying that the reason is because we don't have enough XP.
I’ve tried about 20 times loading and picking up the weapon in the depths and it’s the same one every time. Did this get patched or should I keep trying?
@@therobertortiz83 try feeding it to the rock octorocks in the mountains. Save right before, so you can reload if you get the wrong bonus. Drop the weapon near it and stand back. It'll suck up your weapon (and repair any damage) then spit it out with a bonus (make sure to side jump right before it spits or your shield will take damage). This can be done once per octorock every blood Moon. Can also give you a 5 shot bow if you do this with a lynel bow (just remember to save before feeding your bow). They will not repair or enhance any legendary weapons (demon weapons ect..). You can however attach a legendary item to a regular shield or weapon, then feed it to the Octorock, then you only have to have it taken apart at Terry Twin(?) to be good as new.
hey for some reason when i pick up the pristine version of the royal guards claymore there aren’t any buffs like attack up. any ideas on why it’s not working for me? thanks!
A possibility could be that your not advanced enough into the game, if you play a little more it should come pretty soon but in the meantime you can still build the weapon, it just won’t be as powerful but still will easily be able to kill lynels with!
The Gibdo bone breaks after one hit, thats why I recommend using the Molduga bone because when your mounted on the Lynels back, it doesn’t break. You can also unfuse your weapon at Tarrey Town and switch it to the Molduga bone. Hope this helps :)
@@gavin9056 you can get a +10 attack which is optimal and is pretty easy. Just save your game when the weapon loads, then keep picking it up and reloading your game until you get +10
