You can nonstop grind collectibles by getting the sets and then finding a poker table, hosting a private game for 30 seconds, finding a new free roam session, then looking for collectibles again. For some reason, collectibles reset once you do this.
My girlfriend lives in another town, so every night, we talk on the phone for an hour. That’s when I collect one set of coins and necklaces every day. Is not like you have to think or focus while doing that crap
Here is a fun thing to do - invite people to your moonshine shack, everybody picks an instrument, and you all play together. If you are less people than the band members, just pick "start playing", not "play with band". Then two or more players play together without the band. And it gets especially awesome if you are all totally drunk, because there is a huge difference between playing sober or drunk. ;) Nastrovje!
The only gold payout is from the daily quests. Moonshiner itself doesnt give you some, as the most other daily reward activities. You can do some (or one, depending of the quests) runs for the dailies, but for farming gold the Moonshiner doesnt work.
I just do a coin run everyday, that's 540 dollars in about 40 minutes, during this time I also gain 1-3 gold, since there's always a daily challenge called, undig a collectible using the shovel, find a collectible using the metal detector, deliver 3 collectibles to madam nazar, etc. lots of stuff you can do while collecting. It adds up over time, especially if you never skip a day getting that daily bonus maxed out. Bounty hunter is just too much time for too little gold, sometimes it bugs out and I get no gold at all. Trader is tedious, too much time spent looking for that 3 star deer or whatever to fit into your wagon. And then the constant resupply missions that conveniently pop up when your far away from camp.
Collect, collect, collect. Plus Daily Challenges (for XP too). Once you've been collecting for a while, you will begin to focus on the sets which provide the most cash and XP while collecting multiple sets at a time, specifically coins, heirlooms, jewlery and arrowheads. Sell as many duplicate sets of those aforementioned sets (coins, jewelry, heirlooms and arrowheads) to Madam Nazar for a crap load of cash and XP. Next thing you know, you'll be rank 300 with over $100,000 and 600+ gold bars and head and shoulders above all the other plebs and noobs in every lobby you play.
Dude omfg I'm doing the same thing The collector role + daily challenges and treasure maps = money, levels and gold. That's all I do now and currently have $210 gold and lots of cash. Every 10 collectable item is a level up plus you get huge level boosts turning in full sets of collectables. The tarot cards have a total of 56 collectables a day that is 5.6 levels just with tarot cards. I have earned over 56 levels in one week collecting tarot cards and turning in 10 full sets and there are other collectable. Lost Jewelry earns you the most money and their are 39 collectable that is 3.9 levels daily. Collect all the tarot cards and lost jewelery which will take a few hours will earn you 9.5 levels not counting the sets you turn in. You gain a treasure map every 5 levels and 20 treasure mapa earns close to 30 gold, also if you are on day 28 or above on Daily challenges you earn 1 gold every two challenges you complete. I don't even touch my trader or moonshiner roles anymore and very rarely do the Bounty Hunter role unless I'm doing a Daily Challenge.
@@NXS1FY Selling sets don't equal a fix level amount dude. You might be rank 60 and yes, selling sets you level up quickly. But i have to sell 10 full sets to even rank up once (just counting in the 1500 selling xp) so.. Not thta great. Little tip, save collections for the next outlaw pass, I'm sitting on 120.000 xp and will finish it on day one.
Best Legendary bounty to grind IMO “Red Ben Clempson”: 1- Good payout (one of the best) 2- if you use some ability cards no need for tonics. 3- If you need tonics, there are many free tonics in the wagons. 4- enemies are easy to control since they are all in front of you and on a train. 5- I only use varmint Rifle (cheap ammo) more profit. Shotgun is good sometimes and the enemies you loot give you ammo every time. 6- very easy to fill up your hunter wagon with animals before the mission (bonus) 7- when mission starts stay on the back of the train and kill all the enemies on horses, that way they don’t spawn at the end of the mission. Bonus tip- choose where you want to stop the train close to a quick road to tumbleweed and call your bounty waggon and deliver all 3 bounties alive 👍🏼
K1NG_of_ReVeNGe most randoms in red dead fairly smart at least compare to GTA except for when it comes to the cecil tucker they don’t check their mini map and they just headshot everyone 2 seconds and end up killing the bounty every time.
@@Skinned_fried_n_cut_up_potato What is the GTA comparison meant to mean? I don't need the map in the Cecil Tucker bounty, i just camp in my favorite tower with the bolt action rifle, a moment to recuperate and live for the fight cards. And you can easily spot cecil by his blue shirt and stupid face, even from a far.. And he only has 2 spawns (I haven't gotten the west side spawn in ages though)
I enjoy multitasking between all roles. Except for daily challenges, another good tip is to look at awards and reset them for extra gold (some of them can be reset up to 10 times). Even the collector role has many categories, so its possible to earn gold from that role, it just takes time if you're not used to it. When you get a decent rhythm it does actually pay out quite well.
Thing is..I might take 5 - 8 hrs to do it without the map but..that's because I'm riding from spot to spot with my metal detector out gathering tons of extras. So $3,800 + another $3,000 in extras.
Buy metal detector, large deliver and hunting wagon, and copper moonshine still. This will set you back 3,325 but you break even fast. Keep cripps stocked and every time your at madam nazar buy moonshine ingredients.every 42 mins sell moonshine and trader evertjme it gets 100(if you get grieved close application and goods will still be there)use the online interaction map to do a coin and jewelry run every day. You will also rank up fast and get treasure maps(do the collector run while your businesses are producing
@@danielstokker It's debatable. It takes Cripps around 4 hours to produce 100 goods for 1 long distance delivery for $625. But you can earn close to $990 with the moonshiner role in nearly the same amount of time. That is $247.50 an hour. It's the most passive income you can make in game. That is why I have the Moonshine role ahead of the Trader role as it has potential to make you more money. But after the Naturalist update it's not hard hunting for enough animals as it was in the past. In the past what made the Trader role week was the fact that animals weren't spawning good and it could take a few hours itself to get enough good to fill-up the role and then you still had to wait for it to be produced by Cripps. It's quicker now with the Naturalist role but can still earn you less. If you are in a trader group you can earn tons but if not the Moonshiner can make you more faster as a solo.
@Dax P If your buyers resetting you are not doing it right. Keep an eye on the timer at the bottom in the menu, if the timer resets before the shine is completed the buyers reset and will earn you much less. 3 star shine takes 48 minutes to complete so as long as the timer is longer and or won't reset before it completes you are good.
Ive earned way more money from collector than all the others combined. I tend to just keep an eye out for items as i travel around and sell them later. I hit rank 20 collector literally the next day when it came out, since i had shit else to do at the time.
@@lluiiss6382 not sure if best, but definitely is good. I don’t even try to get sets and just sell the random stuff i find when I’m running around doing stuff and still pays pretty good
This is how I see the roles, collectors: as long as you have the interactive map it’s a breeze and quite relaxing just to go around on the horse, bounty hunter: kill people capture target best with friends, Trader: hunting every animal to extinction and if you solo sell you have to either abuse dead eye or have good aim to defend yourself from hostile players but if no one comes after you then it’s ok
Collector is an awesome role on the side, actually. I don't go for complete collection runs, but I do the daily challenges for the collector with the interactive map, and pick everything up I find on the way. Bounty targets or other random enemies have collectibles, and I check the map in every town I am for some quick pickups. I visit Madam Nazar maybe once a week and sell everything until I have 2 items of each left, unless I get a complete collection during these random grabs.
I spend the whole day collecting every tarot card set and bird eggs and I got over 2 grand for it! And you can collect it again after it resets ! Probably the best role to do! It will take time to every card set but you get good payment for it!
When I was a noob,I was just farming the Bounty Hunter Role, because I was desperatley out of Gold and I needed a Good Horse (Level 20 Breton). I got now over 80 Gold bars, and I am farming Trader and Collector. While Cripps does Goods for the Delivery,I collect sets of old crap. After watching the Video and watching to some people's Comments,I think I'll farm only the Coins, and sometimes visit Cripps. Thank you for this Video.
Before the interactive map, I had my own notes that I kept (I'm sure others did too) and it was still the most profitable and interesting because I'd always combine it with missions, whether from strangers or role missions and it turned those into time well spent as well, as well as daily challenges for gold. Most of the time I still don't use the interactive map as it just takes the fun out of it for me personally.
This is a bit satirical, but completely true. Unfortunately, the most profitable role in RDR2 online is not to play the game. Rockstar continues milking players for REAL money by beating this dead horse to death with drip fed improvements or simply cosmetics as its attempted to come the partner to GTA5 Online. This train left the station go on over a year ago, as the signs of greed and grinding were on the wall. Not everyone fell for the "addiction", however there are plenty of "collectors" that accepted the baited traps.
I played gtao from day one and rdo actually has more content in the same timefrane than gtao did and also more storymode updates than Gta5 ever got so I don't think what you're saying is 100% right from my experience with both games
itsjustdubz I have just as much lol regardless tho gta had no connection issues.I enjoyed both but don’t compare apples to oranges rdo is rushed gtao was slow steady and successful
@@almightyZAW gtao is nearly 7 years old lol the first 2 years were worse than rdo. 6 months with just the "beach bum" update lol and buisness and properties were nearly 3 years in so at this rate rdo is on a better timeframe
actually the trader is the most profitable role right know in terms of cash because of the glitch you make thousands in a matter of seconds if not millisecond's because, your supposed to be using the short distance delivery to that stupid little house in new Austin or whatever.
So surprised that you were the first person to mention this. If you get a group of at least 4 with full trader wagons it makes it worth it so much. And if you set up in 2 certain locations the one of the runs is less then 3 mins and the other is about a min.
You can't say that each role pay's X amount per hour like 1700 dollars with moonshine role it would actually take you 12 hours in actual time to get that amount you can only do a delivery every 48 mins
Personally i would say the collectors, you can literally look up every single item location on RU-vid and have complete sets within an hour or so and when driving between stops keep the metal detector out and you'll find random collector items and once you get so many of the same one instead of selling them individually sell an entire set and then whatever you have left just only go grab what you need instead of restarting completely then you'll have enough for another set even quicker
I started 2 weeks ago with only the free collectors bag, I only do the jewelry treasures daily, now I’m level 62 and have almost everything playing sometimes as a Boutyhunter
Flowers, 4 set of cards, Alcohol bottles.Family heirloom, bird eggs.. Around 2 k and randomly doing freeroam event to keep it interesting even having moonshine active. Others are pain to collect with extra 100 place to go. +1000 collected and only few complete collection of jewelry and fossiles :D
no need for any calculations... collector is best for cash, and xp if you use map that shows every location (just google it), and bounty unter is best for gold simple as that, although the best way to gain gold is probably just keeping your daily streak.
My Cycle: Do a legendary bounty using the strategy of getting the bounty across the map and waiting 15 minutes. Then, I go down to under Braithwaite Manor and hunt Panthers and Gators with the hunting wagon while I wait for the timer to reset. Rinse and repeat. Later, when I get bored, I go to Madam Nazar and sell all the collectibles from the people I looted while doing bounties.
I once did the collector role for a straight 27 hours no joke and i used to grind it so much but now i just pair the moonshiner with trader cause its the most simple
I would love to own a ranch where you won’t make much but when the crops are completely grown you’ll make a lot more than just eggs and milk and maybe also you could make money on sheep auctions in valentine. Even if you didn’t own it and it was like a bodyguard business it would still be fun.
I always do the legendary Etta Doyle mission then I run the moonshine business and after a couple days or maybe a week of playing I sell all my stuff to the collector
@@icata12345 i always start moonshine production, then do Etta Doyle and wait for 15 minutes and a little homework then I do the collector role until the moonshine is ready. Then after the moonshine I collect until Etta is back then repeat
One coin from the collector is buged for me. I have 8 of them and since 3 weeks i can’t dig for it. Switching sessions or restarting the game doesn’t work. Does anyone have an idea what i can do ?
ElGiganteDeHierro i think you mean the golddollar from 1800. he is always bugged on a certain cycle and even the collegctor map showes it. However, for me it is the one from 1709. Does vibrate like crazy but i can’t dig for it -.-
Sorry but for Moonshiner i didnt get it, how u will make average of 170$ in 5-7min and u cant sell ur Moonshiner until end process which is 48 or 60 mins i guess!!! Can some explain me please ;(
Collector is just easy money but you do it passively, moonshine is like just your main job, combine it together, play it smart and do daily challenges = BECOME RICH BABY
In my experiance, maybe 2 out if 10 ling distance delivery gets robbed or attempted. I start a posse, invite eveybody. One or 2 will join, and thats enough. Never lost a delivery
There's a spot over in in the Gulch of New Austin, right next to the river.. you spawn your delivery wagon up near the road and the local drop off is a literal stone's throw away. You go forward, turn right onto the road, go past the house, and turn right into its fence. Done. 1 minute delivery. lol
5 minutes for moonshiner delivery ? Not when it’s from emerald to van horn over and over and about 50-computer enemies on the way in darkness and fog whose sole intention is to break the bottles. 1 bottle broken loses $50 of your moonshine delivery. Maybe in Russia they have kinder algorithms.
Half of the time these roles don't work. This game feels abandoned because of the same old glitches that never got fixed. I probably wouldn't complain if there was free aim mode in the game (ps4).
Not gone lie I can't be a collector I'll get bored and start shooting npc's so i stick to bounty hunting collecting herbs and selling and hunting and fishing and selling it if im broke but if i got money i go for trading it to cripps
after watched some videos and people saying go for bounty hunter i purchase 25 gold bars and went straight for it and failed 5 out of 5 , wish i had gone for collectors first because eventually you gonna get gold and more skills , so if you don't have much skills and still low level like me please don't choose bounty hunter first because it's harder than it seems.
can you research the mechanics of dual weapons that are not the same? for example Navy revolver main and sawed off offhand .or revolver + pistol etc . i think you would get some interesting results
best thing to do to maximize profits first thing do a etta doyle then start brewing up your moonshine then if you want fill your trader role with animals and then do the collector stuff that way you will get twice as much but note that if you want o do this do it in a long run have atleast 4 hrs to do the stuff you will get a ton of xp and money and a bit of gold hve fun
@@georgesr8979 Heartlands camp if ur camp isn't close to emerald ranch just change session. cuz at emerald ranch theres a lot of deers etc. I get 100% materials at 15 minutes soo
10 mins and I can fill my wagon with pike by valentine and sell it for $40. Thts 240 per hour. Let’s say 200 to play it safe. In the same time it takes you to fill trader I’ve matched ur earnings and I nvr had to do a 20 minute sale. Way more effective than hunting and there is no risk at all. Also no resupply missions/spending $80 to have it operating
@@Cwl-4188 Many people have no animals at all. I only have them in a lobby with 21 players max. But 18 or less are the best. And like the fishing dude said, Trader is bad. Only good if you let moonshine and trader produce at the same time you're collecting
Collecting makes great money but honestly it’s boring as hell. I prefer making money in showdown lol I know it makes you almost nothing but the competition is fun. Also daily challenges are good for farming gold.
I hate anything that introduces a battle royale style of gameplay , im the leave me the fuck alone type of player those matches are all the same and suck ... competition??? You mean who has the best defensive build and can pop tonics non stop there is no compitition possible
666 racing and gaming to each his own. Everyone has their preferred way of playing this game. It has a little bit for everyone. And as for showdown, the competition comes not only from 1 on 1 pvp but also on who has better builds, which team can work best with each other in take over series, weapon choice, learning how your opponent plays and countering that play style. So yes there is more to it than spam tonic and defensive build. The only thing I would say is trash in showdown is paint it black and explosive rounds.
