As someone raised Jewish and was taught that Israel deserved to exist in that land. I did not hear the word “Palestine” until HS. I’m in my 20s now and I’m trying to unlearn a lot of biased info. Although I love my Jewish heritage, I also understand that region should belong to everybody. Nobody deserves to be killed for living on their own land.
I'm just gonna say sorry, you're gonna get hate from both sides! Since you're going against your "kin", and "for not realising sooner", which is a really sh*tty thing to say to someone who's just recently made huge strides forward! We love you though, remember, always spread love and positivity even if you don't have it good yourself, no one benefits from people spreading manure!
This is easy to explain: "Anything against Israel, either by word or by action, is extremely immoral, obscene and extreme antisemitism!! But genocide, torture and terrorism of Palestinians is HILARIOUS!!!" -Israeli perspective
from their perspective all jews are divine the rest of us are just thing in the way of their goal . they have a divine right for every stupidity they do . if u try to talk about it you will be tag antisemite and deleted .
Yeah, I've noticed if you pose a question along the lines of "do you not condemn the IDF's slaughter of innocent civilians?" There will be 1 of 4 responses, "You're just an anti Semite", "Israel has the right to defend itself", "Most Palestinians support Hamas" or "Hamas started this war". All of which are fallacies, but hey, guess we're all unhinged anti Semites even though we make fun of the JQ lunatics and condemn Hamas as a psychotic religious right wing organization 🤷
fr i keep thinking abt the episode the last few months. like most in the world, even the most bigoted, would need that tech but israel is so insular and focused on ethnic purity that they don’t even need it - they put it on themselves.
no they said it correctly the first time, your statement wouldnt make sense. If theyre defending themselves from being unfunny, that implies they are presently funny@@kami_1789
they genuinely hate pro-palestinian leftists more than they hate hamas at this point. like hamas is jihadist and far right, but they still manage to make fun of 'western leftists' more
You know if you go to Palestine with that color on your profile pic. You will be the first to go according to the beliefs in their Bible. Can I buy you a one way ticket to G A Z A
@@IstandonFaith yeah and? American Christians believe the same thing. Queer people are already persecuted all over the world. Why would Palestine be immune to that
Its still really crazy to me how a group of people who only have the power they have now is because of the holocaust think its cool to do a holocaust. Like did they learn NOTHING?
It makes sense. A narcissistic mind set will do anything to confirm it's bias, in turn shuts off all self awareness. You have some self awareness for comedy and same way Germans were known for a long time as being unfunny. But this is actually so cringe because it's documented and they really believe they're funny!
yeah, gallows humor is really only funny when those who are oppressed or have been through those hardships do it. that’s why i think that pre-boomer older people are often pretty witty, dry, and straight-talking (from my experience): they had some slice of what universal hardship was like before the US was booming, and keep that with them even through the 21st century, in a way that boomers and most gen Xers could never understand. but that is just my experience; i’m white middle class and most older people i know are white and middle class as well, so this may be different for other groups and their generational experiences.
@@sarahbearbabygirlOverall you are very correct, however, many from the greatest gen DID have some, if minimal, first hand experience with a fairly proporous and internationally rising country, especially in first hand accounts from their parents. But they had much more exposure to international hardship after "The Golden Age" as it was known ended.
universal tribunal on the definition of exact codes of conduct regarding Cringe. you are hereby sentenced under article 23 section 7A: cringeposting genocide.
It’s not about comedy. It’s about compensating for the shame of Oct 7 and asserting their dominance and superiority. They know they are evil and disgustingly immoral. The pain of that is too much to face, so they act out their grandiosity like this to counter it.
Yes! Israelis have been deliberately lied to, at the very latest ever since 1996. Personally I would probably try to find humour in that, too (and hope I would never fall for the dehumanising, racist views this entire catastrophe is based on in the first place), but that’s exactly what happens when a country falls for fascist ideas that are only meant to distract from internal problems - of which Israel has a lot, like the never-lasting political coalitions, pushback to the Status Quo laws, the Supreme Court and Knesset clashing all the time, not having a constitution, self-identification as religious or secular, etc etc. Netanyahu’s political position is fully dependent on fear-mongering and active acts violence, and it’s harming _everyone_
I think Keaton Weiss from Due Dissonance explained it very well: "Israelis are the only Jews in the world who aren't funny. That's because in order to be funny, you need to be vulnerable. But israelis see vulnerability as a weakness" (paraphrased a bit)
Like I've said before, it's because humor feeds off of the dissonance of threat. If something is threatening but you make it look pitiful, that's funny, if something is pitiful but you treat as if it's a threat that's funny. If you treat something pitiful as something pitiful and then try to look around for guffaws and chuckles it's just fucking weird. It's like going to an orphan with cancer and going "oh poor whittle baby has no mommy and daddy and has poopy blood, oh noes" and fake crying. It's not very funny except in perhaps a meta way for being such fuckin bizarre behavior for a fictional character to do (and then it just becomes pathetic if done by someone IRL).
@@cupriferouscatalyst3708 No my point wasn't to say "punching down funny", my point was to explain _why_ punching down is not funny. The thing that annoyed me was how much leftist analysis lacked a mechanical analysis of humor.
@@fluidthought42- I think you misunderstood them. They're agreeing with you and affirming with what you implied: "punching down is NOT funny". They're simply co-signing and framing your point into a summarized conclusion.
Israeli Soldier 1: HAha, You are from Tribe A! That makes you are not from Tribe B! Israeli Soldier 2: HAHAHA OH OHHHHH!!! BINGA BONGA Israeli Soldier 1: I can't Understand YOUUUUU??? Israeli Soldier 2: THat is BeCaUsE I am on FIRE! AHHAHAHAHA - israeli humor
I'd argue that the bad comedy is additive to the horror because the jokes are just "haha we're killing theae people/look at them crying about being bombed"
Seems every country except Israel USA and UK have unanimously agreed Israel is acting in the worst way humans can. You are extremely delusional if you think israel is in any way acting morally.@@TheEverFreeKing
Imagine if pro-Palestine people made tiktoks like that "yarmulke guy, don't you think cutting off access to food, water, shelter, medicine and hospitals leaving kids to require surgery without anesthesia is inhumane" "Actually this is legitimate self defense because the kid is a would-be terrorist" And a tiktok like that wouldn't even be that far off from reality
Ive seen alot of videos of young Israelis interact with people around the world on like Omegle or wtvr... and when they hear that people support Palenstine, you can see their brains explode. They really believe they are the " chosen ones" and that nobody would dare critiicize them. Basicslly, they are frightfully niave.
It be entertaining as hell to see all the tweets from Israeli government officials all the tick-tock’s from soldiers and Zionist displayed in international court as part of a genocide case. But let’s be honest here this case isn’t simply gonna be over and done within a week. It’s going to take years, if not decades to get fully resolved. For example in 2007 or so or was it 2008 the court ruled the Serbia committed genocide in 1993
Weird glitch on my computer, there's these strange little red triangles above the heads of all the soldiers in this video. Can someone who's good at tech support help me out?
Israeli Likud Party literally has their own "From the river to the sea" motto. It's actually worse because it includes "Israeli Sovereignty". Any time I hear people freak out over the Palestinian motto they never seem to know about the other Israeli one.
@@hendrikvanleeuwen9110 "From the Sea to the River Jordan there will only be Israeli Sovereignty" - Israeli Likud Party Manifesto 1977 - same party that Netanyahu is a part of. A manifesto isn't a poem, that is a political stance or declaration.
I worked I a theme park in the Netherlands where anually there were some tour busses visiting with only Israëli guests. We had millions of visitors each year, from Germany, France, Belgium, the UK, the US and China. I can confirm that Israël Tourist busses arriving were notorious and all staff was prepped before arrival to expect the rudest, entitled and most littering guests that day. Israëli are unbelievably rude to all the staff. And I am Dutch so the bar is quite low already. And yes I can confirm the lack of Joy and sense of humor.
I was a cafe waiter at a summer camp and all my colleauges agreed that 100% from all the international guests the israeli were the worst, they screamed at us, made us baby them around (one guy literally threatened to get me fired because I didn't give him one extra banana at the cafe) and acted like they were the hottest shit in town, disrespecting everybody else in the meantime of course
Why does the purple hair girl dude come off as EXTREMELY white American evangelical coded? He literally reminds me of the youth pastors I grew up with when they tried to be comedic.
Conservatism never lends itself to comedy, but this is same style of comedic entertainment employed by pro Nazi’s and Jim Crow publications. It’s gonna be reeeeeally interesting to see how this effect communal support in the near and far future 🤡
I find the media (propaganda, if you prefer) from Israel to be very disturbing. It reminds me of American propaganda, but on steroids. This level of hate is sickening.
When you're 10 seconds into the video and the comments from the live chat box above Hasan's head have said it all: "WTF IS THIS", "THE F_CK THAT NOISE", "HOLY F_CK", "god this voice makes me want to dig my own eardrums out"
You ever met super narcissist that's funny? No, you know why? You have to have self awareness for comedy..... same way for a while German's weren't known for being funny
I can't believe that I actually thought that Daniel-Ryan Spaulding was once funny.. Something changed after he got gastric bypass and quit drinking. And became a zionist.
Thew Jewish people produced some of the best comedians and comedy teams in history, a lot of it as they were representing an oppressed people, which generates the best black humor as people dealt with ridiculously inhumane situations. Now... as an oppressor, comedy gives way to cruelty and inhumanity. For comparison imagine an American black youth create comedy out of police brutality vs a cop 'comedian' making fun of how he beat up a black youth
It's also a demographic thing... Jewish folks both had a cultural history with theater in Europe and developed a strong artistic community in the states...
Anyone else in a normal world would be put on like ten most wanted lists for these type of things but because it’s Israel and they’re target is Palestinians they get special treatment and it’s seen as normal How tragic and unfortunate
3:10 the cruelty IS the joke. Watch the move Range 15 for a stack of the same humorless, mean-spirited nonsense that appeals to roughly half of any population.
gee I wonder if this community is gonna make itself look dumb by getting upset over the most famous RU-vid botted agrobait account that they already know is fake
heartbreaking: worst person you know just made an almost decent point (i think you intentionally forgot to add innocent) also what israel is doing is beyond cruel. countless video of mothers and fathers in gaza holding the corpse of their children. children killed by israeli terrorists ( aka the IDF) i have no idea why this account continues to post such brain dead takes. in the years i’ve seen it comment, barely anything that can be conceived as intelligent has been posted. pls get a life. go touch grass and open a book ffs
There humor only works as parrity, pointing out how horrible they are. The one joke was literally, isn't it funny we destroy there houses so much we just do it with out being ordered yet Who likes to build things? Well who likes to destroy things? Thats where it could be comedy, but when you are litteraly the people doing the thing we are laughing at the absurdity of, you are not making a joke
its wild how the music in the background for the first incredibly cringe video is Gustav Holst's second suite for band, I played that shit twice in highschool/college
I guarantee that if your life was filled with so much violence and hatred from such an early age, you also wouldn't know what a joke looks like by age 18.
