There is actually an Anakin lightsaber made by Disney however, it’s extremely rare. It comes in the duel of the heroes set with obi wans rots lightsaber and a sick looking case
Anakin's lightsaber visually describes his personality through his life. His episode II saber: The basics, nothing special but gets the job done. Fitting for a padawan. CW, Episode III: Elegant, with an aggressive twist on tradition. This saber was built with his preference for duels in mind and we see his true personality show through it, protective but aggressive and willing to bend rules to finish the job. Vader's Saber: A larger, deadlier saber thanks to the settings designed to gain the dominant (bordering unfair) hand in duels, and synthetic red blade (which are more powerful than organic crystals). Takes a ton of inspiration from the weapon of his former self, only this time, holds nothing back in the name of tradition nor honor. This weapon shows us who Vader is, a cold hearted killing machine.
I've always thought Vader's saber looks extremely similar to Yoda's as well. Could be that Vader is mocking Yoda, and creating his lightsaber to look similar could show that he believes he has surpassed Yoda as Vader. Just speculation from me.
@@Magfnneto Hate to be that guy, but actually Vaders saber is actually basically just a redo of his ep. 2 saber, just instead of chrome all around the emitter, its black for vaders. Much like the ROTS and ANH Graflex saber Luke gets looks very similar(Canon they are the same lightsaber just passed on) to each other.
That's the First Anakin model Vaders Sabers sells and it is very accurate to EPISODE 3, identical almost! The new brass Anakin model is nice, but the bunny ears are wrong, hence why it's cheaper on their website than the first one. They are both awesome, but I prefer accuracy over a little heavier hilt. MTFBY!
I must say EPISODE 3 is nice, but His EPISODE 2 Saber is so underrated!! Light side vader hilt with Luke like LEDs near top. Small and slim, my favorite saber!!
@mathewcurtis8484 it's combination of holding the saber perpendicular to the wall (horizontally), pressing the aux, and tapping the saber against the wall. Standard if/then programming.
I got one of these and thought the exact same thing BUT I realised they’ve compromised with where they’ve put the button so the blade can sit deeper in the hilt, which I think was a good move because it feels super sturdy. It is a shame the button is on the gold bit but you can also use a gesture to turn it on if you want. The button actually does still press in, but if you look into it you can see there’s no way a switch for a button would fit in there unless the blade recess was like 1 inch deep
@@Slayorama big red button is for show, smaller red button opposite that is an actual button but with nothing wired to it, REAL button to active the lightsaber is hidden under the rectangular Gold bit
@@jameswalmsley9038 That is what it is used for the sequels and one scene in the clone wars but older replicas of the rots lightsaber has the lightsaber be activated/deactivated by the gold piece on the side of the activation box.
Even with all the different color options that the neopixel blade has, I could never bring myself to change the og blue color. That blade is sacred. It's the Youngling Slayer 2000!!
no, the clip on the flash handle used for the original prop wasnt attached to the outer casing of the flash handle, but clipped THROUGH the outer casing, clipped onto an inner ring but basically that protrusion above the red button was a clip that was removable through the other side of the unit
It may be the most realistic one if it was just a liiittle more screen accurate. Since Disney is selling an Anakin saber now as well, that point goes to them I'm afraid. But still very neat thing :D
Yes 🙏🙏. Now it just needs to focus on upgrading the actual blade and its interior foam/filling technology to something that looks more accurate in person to the core look of the sabers in the movies. Hopefully we'll get there.
Very true. But the average fan at disneyland has no idea about neopixel. My wife had a good point, if they sold neopixels at the park or at least an optional upgrade, people would probably buy them for that much. I'm taking my neopixel to Disneyland this weekend... gonna put some disney sabers to shame 😂
I'm now considering to get the Neopixel saber, and the feature were you cut a wall might be cool for a short film just woth some special effects for sparks and molten metal effect.
Bro neopixels are crazy, back when i was fighting with sabers it was literally an led, a switch, and a battery pack in an aluminum tube. Good old days!
I have that same one and the obiwan as well! I love both of them! Saber theory is amazing and also has wonderful and very helpful customer service! My obiwan lightsaber innards went bad and they sent me a free replacement to put in! I love their products!
Somebody should combine a neopixel blade with a hilt that's actually made from an old 60's camera flash mount and kitbashed parts from old modelling kits (which is how Lucasfilm made it for A New Hope). It would be so cool to see the most realistic lightsaber blade on the most realistic lightsaber hilt! 🤯
fun fact, Anakin's lightsaber that he had in episode 3 only appeared in 3 movies in the Complete Saga. Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back.
That makes me think, Disney had 0 respect to Anakin's lightsaber, they made luke to throw it away in the last jedi, then kylo and rey broke it In the middle, I hate you Disney 😭👊
Honestly... I might get flack for this, but I really like the shortened Rey's version. Like, a lot. And that's coming from a die-hard Anakin\Hayden fan. Reason being, as someone with a small frame the shorter size would benefit me. Not to mention I really like the fact that "gun iron sights" fins off. Trust me, I know the original purpose of it (coming from an old camera piece) But it looks much cleaner being smoother like that, plus it looks badass with the vent holes (a sucker for vent holes lol) 🙏💜📺💯
The best ones ate made from an actual Graflex battery handle for a xamera flash. As long as you get all the other components right on the outside. I'd live to see the innards of the Neopixel put into the actual grafted. Because that truly would be accurate. I bought one for 10 bucks way back in 1998. Bit have yet to turn it into a lightsaber hilt.
If you're not bullshitting and actually got one for 10$ way back in 98 and you want to covert to a working Neopixel lightsaber, there is a ton of saber smiths and independent people who could get that done for you and do a excellent job at it. There has actually been others that have actually done that and converted them with the correct externals and they look great 👌. I would save up and get a good crystal chamber chassis for it as well for its internal electronics and sound board if you have a legit Graflex flash handle. Would be priceless to Star Wars fans and would be worth a good chunk of money 💰.
@shagman9684 OH that is so cool. I wasn't aware people were modifying the actual Grafkex handles into Neopixel sabers. Thanks I'll have to look into it.
@SchardtCinematic yeah no problem. There is plenty of resources and forums around who have a plethora of info on how to go about getting it done right 👍.
Imagine waking up in the night and your roommate is in a dark corridor with a red lights saber in all dark running after you as you try to escape that's the type of roommate I dream to be
Only good thing about the new MW3 is seriously the multiplayer. Campaign is not the best and honestly super controversial. Zombies I personally haven’t played yet but Vanoss, Wildcat, and Nogla showed me that it’s not worth it. Love content as always Vanoss!
everyone knows that the most realistic light sabers will have a voice over from the light saber itself first, before slowly loading and activating the blade
I’m not sure if it is just a scaling thing but it always seems like the Disney lightsabers are thicker than how they look on screen, the neopixel one looks about the right scale
