The idea of taking pictures and finding something on them that shouldn't be there reminds me of the game Oxenfree. It's a horror game with an interesting atmosphere that you might enjoy. It's not really about taking pictures, but rather interacting with ghosts via radio.

For the Car thing: I have several reasons for the larger cars. 1) In America generally a lot of people have Pride in having a large Truck or love having a Vehicle that lets them be able to basically haul everything they can think of, and also can survive any crash you can think of. 2) America is heavily Car-Dependent that we drive for almost every reason, and so people like to have larger vehicles that can do for any amount of transportation needs. Also great for long trips as a traditional vacation here can be a 5-hour drive just to get to the location, or if it's a big vacation, like quite literally a 10 - 18-hour drive to the destination. So, lots of packing. And a lot like to go shopping in the places they go on trips to so end up returning with more items than you left with. 3) Most people Bulk buy, or shop for weeks of groceries and such at once, so they need more space. Like for myself, when I was younger it was me, my parents and my Sister, and we usually bought like a month of groceries in one big trip every month, for several reasons, it was cheaper (back then at least) and more convenient for getting all 4 of us to shop at once for like 3 hours rather than at random times where my parents may both buy the same items within a day of each other. 4) Bigger = Costs more to make = Car selling companies get more Monay

SUV is basically a van with more seating & less cargo space. A semi truck is a desal gas truck (and has the different emissions) & a pick up truck is the truck in the suburb section. This is coming from an American AND a non-car guy. The game is really cool. I just wish they used the camera for more things.

In regards to the ice machines in hotels, the idea is that you bring your own drinks and alcohol to celebrate because you’re likely on vacation and you need ice to keep those drinks cool. I need all my drinks to be ice old, even at home. I can’t drink room temperature stuff except water. Coolers are good for outdoor places like parks, beaches, etc. not hotels because you’re already bringing a ton of luggage with you.

Also, at 1:45:40, there's a chat comment that stun-locked everybody that saw it, while Insym had a choice comment at the very same time.

1:25:00 - The Dyson Airblades are okay, but the space is never large enough, especially if you also washed your wrists. And they often include this _instead_ of paper towels, so if you also had to wash your face or arms, then you're leaving with a wet face or arms.

Really loved this one! Lots of different places to see, a little spooky sometimes, but when a fart is the biggest jumpscare in the game, you know it's good! Would have loved something more interactions or mechanics with the pictures as well, but I guess the pictures in itself kind of create the creepy effect of the game. Especially looking back at them after completing the game.

RE: Car size in the US Where I'm from in US (PNW) "semi" refers to one of the giant commercial trucks with the shipping container on its back. I think it's called a "semi" to distinguish it from the ones that have two shipping containers. "Pickup/pickup truck" refers to the vehicle with the cab (one row of seats or two) in the front and the open bed in the back. Trucks can also have a removable cover on the bed called a camper shell. "SUV" means sports utility vehicle - it's a larger vehicle with no bed, but the rear seats can be folded down to haul things inside the vehicle or to sleep in there (like for car camping). Initially, pickup trucks were only farm or work vehicles, because you could load things like hay, loose gravel, or lumber into the bed to haul it easily. In the past 20-30 years there has been a massive increase of people (mainly men) buying large trucks for no practical reason, equipping them with lift kits, and being general nuisances on the road. This can absolutely be attributed to small pp syndrome. SUVs are still mainly utility vehicles, often for people with kids - i.e. the "soccer mom" stereotype: women with multiple children in various sports, who needs a larger vehicle to transport the kids and all their gear to games. SUVs are also used by outdoorsy people who like to camp out of their cars or go offroading. Also worth noting: one of the reasons in size difference between European and USAmerican cars is the infrastructure here. Public transit (buses, subways, etc) is basically nonexistent in most places. Only the largest cities have reliable public transit. As a result, most towns are sprawling and require commuting by car to go to work or access resources like grocery shopping. It's not unusual for people to spend a couple hours a day commuting, and if you're going to be in your car that long, more space really is necessary. Most people travel by car domestically as well, so enough space to haul luggage and be comfortable on the trip is important too.
@JustinHerbertTD
@JustinHerbertTD Год назад
As far as the SUVs, I think it’s just that people have big families, tow boats, RVs, or just like the extra space. It’s like a status symbol for some. Cars in Europe seem a little too small, even most homes seem small. And no I do not have an SUV haha.

This past weekend I packed our cooler and went to the local drive-in theatre in our family SUV to see the Mario movie then listened to those old concession stand intermissions as we were packing up to leave. We go to the drive-in for most movies since we have small children and can set them up with blankets, pillows, and games in the back while we watch something or make a picnic out of it if we're seeing a family friendly movie. So I found this video's various real world commentaries particularly funny.

Here, SUV's are "normal" size cars. We tend to look at the people the GIANT trucks (think like Dodge 3500s or Ford F-350s) as having the small dicks. I had a mini-SUV for awhile cause I do a lot of travel and camping and needed the space for my gear. Now I've got a hatchback instead (almost as much space, but a bit cheaper on the monthly payments).

See, the thing about America is our roads are built to support them. The simple truth is trucks and SUV are the meta of the road here, thus making them the safest thing to drive. I drive a F-150 simply because I value being able to use my bed when I need to to move things off the road, throw something into the bed I see on the side of the road or move large things without needing to rent a truck. I do have a crew cab so I can put more bodies in if I need to so as a person who like utility, a truck made the most sense. I know its easy for people who dont live here to say those things but we are big and fat and need big cars and truck. I wish it wasnt like this but it is.

But the guy said if we go with the 7 o'clock train to Marseille it'll be ok. So we had to check out of the hotel at 5 in the morning - which no one liked and then we went to the train station. And we weren't let on a train until after 1 o'clock which meant we didn't reach the train for Cannes in time so we had to book an extra night in Marseille and missed one out of only two days on the french Riviera...

Pickup Trucks usually have a bed for storage there are different size of pickup trucks and why they’re so popular is people do often use them for a lot of hauling or the readily convenience. I hate them myself but I will need one as I get a lot of car parts for my hobby and also work but our most popular vehicles are SUV’s which are mainly for 4-5 people cars that do not have a lot of similarities with a trucks they’re just large passenger vehicles that aren’t low like cars more like squished station vans. I personally drive small sedans and coupes but pickup trucks can be annoying when people do impractical things with them like lifting them and stuff but usually can get fined and a lot of them have so usually have a hard time passing so yeah. Is what it is I mean we have way more land than the way the EU is structured between our cities so cars and stuff are REALLY needed here everyone brings up the public transport spiel but it just doesn’t work the same with us when a lot of our land is in the middle of nowhere with a farm or a lot of land away from the cities and when you are in cities I mean we do have PT just not the best but gets us by used to have to take it a lot…idk all in all maybe help clear it up a tiny bit

Yeah. Most modern SUVs are at least somewhat designed for city use, with blind spot cams and driver aids, etc. The real problem is more about the "fetishization" of huge lifted performance-oriented pickup trucks/utility vehicles which aren't really designed to be economical or safe in crowded urban situations. Like, don't get me wrong, out in the more rural areas with farms and ranches there are people who genuinely need those, to haul their hunted animals and boxes of corn and barrels of bull semen or whatever over rough country roads. But they've also become popular with a bunch of people who never leave the city and absolutely do not need them - who only buy them because they want to look hard.

Just seeing the feelings the places and what mysteries it has. The Aliens were weird tho, should have been like stuffed dolls, but being possibly a dream gives a pass I guess? Or some type of surreal experience. But hey, it was coherent on where to go, the Compass was a great addition, and they utilized the space for photo locations. Altho the school disappointed me, should of had most classrooms openable and had side rooms, teachers lounge and such. Felt short, most the Time spent was getting the last 3 photos.

Let's just get this straight...pickup trucks are NOT SUVs, they are an actual necessity when you live in a state that is bigger than 3 European countries put together, most of which is ranch and farmland and people actually use their vehicle to WORK (actual manual labor) and tools, ladders, animal feed, etc are needed. Oh, and yes, hunters need trucks too. In a city where everyone lives on top of each other and the next town is 15 minutes away, a Prius may work, but I doubt you want to throw a buck in the backseat. They are also useful for towing electric cars that run out of power back to a charging station 🤣🤣🤣
