I got some suggestions from last time so here’s the improved version: Find a lake and pillar up, make sure to break the blocks beneath you while you’re pillaring up so it will be less obvious. Once you have your beacon at world height, place chest as a platform because chest don’t render from very far. Place a target block, dispenser and water in it. Reason? The rule is you can’t make a base where you can’t get to the base without placing or breaking 3 or more blocks. Having a way to get up without placing any blocks will technically make it legal. ----------- Now you have a legal and hidden base, you are sure to respawn at world height and be safe anytime you’re ready to fight. 1:08 Honestly, this is antiquated wisdom. It applied to the old way Minecraft used to generate worlds. Once Caves and Cliffs came out it completely restructured the way blocks generate in the overworld. Where there used to be an entire Y level full of lava now there's a ton of variation, including the fact that there's a Y level where Deepslate forms and you're most likely not going to run into lava before that. This means that you can dig straight down anywhere in the minecraft world and as long as you stop when you hit deepslate there's an incredibly low chance that you're going to dig into lava before that. Hell even after its still super rare to drop onto a lava lake at a random ass spot. Dig down as much as you like, the only real danger is hitting a big cave and falling to your death.

yk what would be crazy? a base that goes from one corner all they way to the other corner with a tunnel thats deeply hidden underground. so you spawn and come out on a whole differnet side
