My guess for the story, how I interpreted it, is that your uncle(?) won a price possibly it was his car that you might have cleaned, which he gave to you, and you own a car detailing shop and it was ruined due to flooding, so you decided to start over from scratch. Just my interpretation from the little cutscenes.
this game is bassed on ammo a car detailing youtube and bloody good at his job... just the joys of not playing AAA titles.. some of us like these games more than AAA
I used to work in a specialist dry cleaners and we used to spray paint leathers, it's not your basic paint though it's a special pigment that's sprayed on it.
I actually worked in auto detailing and it's very soliciting, but yes, as you said, the final result is very pleasing. Oh and we usually started with the interior and worked our way outward :)
i think the story shown is that there was a car show and them "mafia" were actually thwe judges who gave you the award for your car washing. The first place was your showroom/store that you built up over the years, but after closing the gates for the night a severe storm came in and floooded/destroyed it forcing you to start from scratch
As an owner of my own auto detailing business this game is pretty good. Ammo NYC made this game and has his own RU-vid channel as he’s also an auto detailer.
Well the cutscenes basically showed that you worked at a big time Car detailing shop, that you locked up after your shift cleaning that car, and then a flood happened that flooded the shop. It either closed because of the damage and/or you were fired because you were the guy who closed the shop. Whatever happened you needed a job, your only work experience/skill was in car detailing and cleaning, and you decided to open your own business using your experience. It kind of also implied that you might of been the reason the old guy got the trophy? But yeah, just wanted to get down what all was implied. Cause your character by the scenes wasn't stealing, but putting on the padlock...
As someone who has had to detail a car for a car show, yeah, you need to get as close to every drop of water as you can. Water that dries on the car leaves spots, which you don't want on a show car.
Well, unless you have some of that fancy soft mineral less water. Having hard water is really fun when cleaning cars🙈 I’ve heard about some water called reverse osmosis and apparently that’s supposed to be good for not getting water spots🤷♂️
I did detailing for a few years at a honda dealership and its pretty fun you get to drive the new cars off the truck to your garage to detail and sometimes you get customers with a classic or some cool cars and sometimes you get a Corvette and something really expensive going to you for detail but its alot of work
i passed up buying this game for months now, because some of the reviews on steam make it sound awful, but thanks to this vid, i bought it along with the nyc dlc
As a former professional detailer, it is a fun job, especially if a bit obsessive. The issue and why not anymore are the customers. Trying to deal with unrealistic expectations... and some cars are just so gross....
I dunno about you, but there's the whole money thing too. There can only be so many detail shops in an area, and there is simply no money in detailing if working for someone else. When I was detailing it was barely above minimum wage. But each car coming through the shop was typically $150-$300. So if you can find an area that's got a decently sized population and a lack of detail shops, opening one could be lucrative. Finding a couple of good helpers you could get 2-4 cars out a day.
@@Nick17354 Oh for sure. Reputation is everything if want to make a living. In social media, one unhappy customer can ruin you overnight. Working for another is low pay unless you bring in the high end clients that will do all the leather cause is a fingerprint. I had developed a reputation for classics cars and motorcycles. It took just one car. A 1966 Tbird barn find somebody wanted detailed before tearing it down to rebuild. But got it looking so good customer decided to leave it all original! But yeah. It was too much a gamble for me to start my own shop. Hard to find people as diligent, then taxes and insurance and the cars so filthy you take outside and blow the whole thing out with compressed air? I knew I could make money then, but 20 years from then when older would be another matter. But it got me into school again for a degree.
you should make season 2 of fishing planet and it is free on steam ill watch every ep in season2 and you are the best RU-vidr i hope you read this but every time i am feeling down i watch you to make me feel a lot better
Just wanted to say oddly in Arma III you can change your stance, from laying flat on the ground to standing on your toes to try and shoot over obstacles
I was a detailer for over 3 years it is a fun job and is very satisfying you would not like to see the beginning look of some of the cars we cleaned. Smoker cars are the worst everything looks grey and then clean its tan or something.
I think what happened at the beginning was that the original, big car shop was destroyed during the flood. And so you had to reopen in a smaller location and re start everything
If this game is from AmmoNYC from RU-vid. He goes in alot of detail in his videos. Actually love watching ammonyc detailing videos. And yes that is how you repair leather seats.
It is a awesome job I have my own detailing business i love it because I love anything with card it’s very time consuming lol especially if you have ocd
