It makes me sad to think about the poor creature pleading for help and getting snatched up by some countries airforce so it can be chopped up into pieces for no reason. Its no wonder why they wont reveal themselves to us.... Evolution wise, we're a species that is barely out of the jungle.

@@tedgunderson67 Right, and any scent could be used to train someone by association with something scary. Operant conditioning I think. Even accidentally, you could be terrified of the smell of plum pudding if it got associated. And the sense of smell is hardwired the hardest.
