These are films that stood the test of time. Thankfully, the Sagip Pelikula was able to restore them. Thanks The J Family!

@@ancxph are there any indications from the government that they will continue the restorations and safekeeping of the old films? Like what the National Film Registry of the USA.

@@TheJmenoFam We haven't heard of such plan. Also, for now, only ABSCBN does restoration of films in the country because they have the library and it cost a lot to restore films.

@@ancxph this is one of the projects of ABS-CBN that I'm very appreciative of. They have nothing to gain from these restorations (and film archive? but keeping the art for future generations to view and enjoy. Will ABS-CBN continue to do these even after the non-renewal of the franchise?

@@TheJmenoFam They are working on a few films now and will still finish those. But sadly, the Film Restoration group is one of the departments that will be dissolved after Aug 31. So it will end with those current projects. :(
