If I were to pull the trigger on t this,,, I would have to go with solid sides and possibly back instead of glass. With the extra width I see broken glass from trail trees at some point.

It'd be more agile than pulling a cargo trailer. The places I'm likely to go, I probably wouldn't want the flared-out sides. I'd for sure scrape them up at some/many point(s).

They're pretty nice, but they're a lot bulkier and more subject to high winds. It depends on how you drive and where you drive, too. I think the Kimbo is like 1,000 lbs. This is about 360 lbs. And it's got a lower profile. I was looking at this one because I like that it extends farther over the stupid 4--door cab that we all drive, thanks to the government. I think that means you have to modify your suspension on, say, a Tacoma. I'd rather have an extra cab with a long box, myself. They went to extra cabs because of the government, too. It technically could hold 4 passengers with those ridiculous jump seats, so the worse gas mileage was acceptable to the EPA. SMH. But the government got it right, because that extra space is handy, and it allows you to have bucket seats in front, which is a huge advantage over the older regular cabs, even though you're a foot or two longer.

For real. I’m a full time metal/glass artist and fabricator. People have no idea what stuff costs. Go look at the price on tempered glass. A sheet of 1/8” aluminum. Hell, a box of 1/4-20 bolts. Shit adds up so fast. People have no idea. This is worth it, if you use it

@@cgatesgates6631 Sadly very true - I've looked extensively at this "lightweight truck camper" market before deciding to go with the Tune M1, and I was not very impressed with the FWC Project M. It seems great at first, but after seeing quite a few of them up close and reading about the quality and the install, it did not impress.
