When I moved to U.S everyone was telling me I’m overdressed. 20 yrs later I’m all day in leggings and flip flops. When I go to visit my family back in Europe, my mom politely is asking me to put myself together 😅

Love love LOVE the mustard trousers at 1:48 and the indigo ones at 7:17. Love some of the shoes too, but these are not practical in Prague because of the cobblestones. Love the big luxurious floral patterns on satin, very White Lotus.

Classic looks... Tailoring, no frills flounces etc. I love a blazer, over smart trousers or dresses. A pop of colour. I do like Co ordination in colours and love a full skirted shirt waister dress. There is a photograph in the thumbnail of a cream /off white dress with beautiful red flowers. That is my style... I bought silk similar to this in my youth and made a dress very similar to it. I loved the shape so much I bought different silk materials different patterns and made another 3. Those 4 dresses were all dress up or dress down and lasted years....

Americans like myself can learn a lot from Milanese people who put careful thought and consideration into their appearance before they step out of their respective homes. That must be commended.

I've said it before-the Italians are unsurpassed with color coordination;Even if if you think a color or pattern doesn't match, they will come up with just that particular shade and tone of that particular color or pattern to match it in an outfit.The only thing I found when I was shopping in Milan was that the clothes sizes are so small( I'm quite slim) I couldn't find anything.Maybe that's changed as I went quite a while ago.

Some pretty well dressed young girls, otherwise I'm not impressed with the overall attractiveness of the people.

Not sure what to believe anymore… just last night I saw a documentary about poverty and high unemployment in Italy… the young people can’t afford apartments, can’t find jobs and many have to live with their parents into the age of 30s , then fast-forward to this morning and i woke up and saw this and everyone has luxury handmade items… shoes, handbags , high end clothes and exotic cars .. all seeming to not have a care in the world and life is abundant. Are they all wearing knockoffs or are they just super rich and are part of the thin line of the 1%ers of Italy. Or this content-creator shoot videos of tourists in Italy and post it as the idyllic Italian lifestyle.

You need a lot of money for this! It is not true you can be elegant with a few... Never as today is all about the "package"!

I don’t understand what is the big deal about . Ordinary looking people , ordinary clothes , dresses with tacky print look horrible

I find the older people dressed very well but the rest are average and reflective of the generation all over the world.
