@Neo noah It's very possible. I know there are many different Sentai series out there. I figured since Alphan (Alpha) was part of the archetype they were going for 5-team lineup like the US adaptations. Still would be great to see another ranger
@@cosmic12321 I’m also hoping for a retrain of relinquished itself. Maybe a monster or spell that searches cards with reliquished or Millenium eyes in their name. Also, anima needs to be relinquished when on the field or in the gy. I’m hoping but I doubt Konami will make any. This archetype has so much potential.
There aren't many cards that say "Number" in their text without being specific to a singular Number or CXzy Number monsters. Like "Number 39 Utopia" is an archetype in on itself.
@@renulence7247 Both are carried by powerful cards that are easily splashed or sacked in other more competitive decks: Harpies: Duster and one of the most powerful trap cards in the game when used at the right time (at least they're both searchable in archtype). Red Eyes: Dragoon... nuff said.
I actually didnt realize that Blackwings had as much support as they do. Its just that I only use certain cards cuz everything else is pretty wack or only useful in niche situations/formats. I would really appreciate another simoon like monster and maybe another auster but that can actually special summon itself like Gale and some others do. That would really help out this deck
In terms of cards that specifically mention each other, Gagaga, Gogogo, Dododo, and Zubaba exist as a collection to help the Utopia and Utopic archetypes. Those last 2 archetypes themselves can summon any of the first 100 Numbers, including support for: Ninja Gimmick Puppet Numeron Chronomaly Photon/Galaxy Battlin' Boxer Heroic Challenger And are also supported by the ZW and ZS cards.
@@thin.chungus5554 I believe it's actually abbreviated to "Onomat" due to stuff like Onomatopickup. Which actually reminds me, Astraltopia also ties in the "Xyz" and "Zexal" support archetypes
Hero's having so many cards makes sense because technically they're different archetypes (Elemental, Destiny, Vision, Evil, Masked, Neo Spacians, Xtra)
Well, Elemental, D Hero, Evil and Neo Spacian are mostly from the anime as an "excuse" like on Blackwing, also yes, there are so many of those that are just for their own sub archetype, like Fusion Destiny is only for D Heroes, Neos Fusion is only for Neos Fusions etc
Personally I believe Performapal is the biggest archetype. Because if you are able to lump together all the heroes for that 300+ number, than wouldn't that mean you would have to lump in Odd-eyes, supreme king, Performage and many more for Performapal?
HEROes are just a collective of different sub-archetypes that have different strategies, hence why there are so many of them. Judai‘s Elemental HEROes from the anime, Judai‘s Elemental HEROes from the manga, Judai‘s Neos from the anime, Judai‘s Masked HEROes from the manga, Judai’s Evil HEROes from the anime, Edo‘s Destiny HEROes from the anime, Edo‘s Vision HEROes from the manga, and there are several more generic friendly HEROes.
OCG loves heros and Blackwings. The 5D's manga and even some GX manga has references on the side panels where they talk about everyone in the office for the Manga playing Blackwings.
And DM era gets the eyeroll everytime it gets support 😅 other one that sickens me is performapal, blackwing is up there but at least newer stuff is really cool compared to other older stuff
Honestly, considering how HERO started out as several separate yet still somewhat relayed archetypes, (First Elemental Hero, then Destiny Hero and Evil Hero, with Vision Hero and Masked Hero all being used by different versions of only 2 characters with little overlap or synergy between them) I feel like HERO should be considered more as some sort of "Super archetype" instead of just calling it a card archetype.
those are technically seperate archetypes that just support each other as well, like how traptrix support holes and trap holes without being part of the hole and trap hole archetype
Still waiting for the cards from the Structure Deck poll from 2019. Archfiend was one of the voting options which means they had cards ready and the banner they used for the option was all Summoned Skull variants so the deck was actually meant to be a Summoned Skull structure deck. We'll never get it as a deck but those cards are still on a shelf in Konami storage waiting.
POTE could have been great if it was a handtrap. Like, make it activateable from the hand if you have at least 4 HEROs on the field with different elements.
