Hey Clint, I just want to say how much I appreciate your videos. I just want to point something out that I am certain most of us that watch your videos have noticed in a big way. You always seem to have your mic volumes, and instrument volumes spot on. Never too hot, or lacking in any way. I have a custom 9.2.8 audio system. Yes, 8 subwoofers. I have a line array 6 pack up front, and 2 in the back. Playback from your recordings are just AMAZING!!! Even though being played back via YT! Thanks Clint for sharing!
I watched another RU-vidr do a review a couple months back and decided to buy one, no offense to you, you’re a more polished musician, like you, I can’t put it down! I’ve got a dozen guitars and two amps in my music room, but pick this one up all the time. The effects are great and you can customize them through the app, which gives you tons of options. And the humbuckers sound great through an amp or headphones! The guitar seems to never go out of tune and I’ve never touched the intonation since I checked it when I got it. Where as my other guitars because of the changing weather always have to be “tweaked”. Mind you, it’s not a Les Paul or will ever replace any of my other guitars, but, the sound and playability you get for the price…..unbeatable 🤟
Ive already got the nova go sp1 (acoustic/electric parlor sized) and i like it so much that now im considering this one as my next purchase. Ive already got prs, fender, and squires also, but if the sonic is as good as the sp1, i could see selling off a couple of the ones i already have. Im really curious to see when someone does a pickup upgrade on one of these, how it reacts to some really good pickups also.
Thanks for the review. I recently bought their nova pro tenor ukulele with onboard effects and it’s a breath of fresh air as well. Seems to be a good company.
I just ordered one.. hoping it won't disappoint.. Ive got 9 guitars with this making #10.. I just love Les Paul guitars.. I have a SG Standard Maestro Vibrola, Ibanez PS120, and a Alcivar ES 335.. the rest are Les Paul
Just picked this guitar up last week and I am shocked at what you get for the price. It's a very comfortable guitar, easy to pick up and play, and the app is really great.
Hi Clint just wondering about the setup...... being a set neck is there enough adjustment in the bridge to get the setup nice n low without putting a back bow on the neck...... it was a concern in another video I watched about this guitar...... what are your thoughts..... cheers
I am a singer-songwriter and a guitarist. I own a Les Paul guitar. I was planning to get valeton Gp-200 to enhance my music writing (specifically) now that I've seen this NOVA go SONIC ...I'm also leaning toward getting this one instead..because it has it all for composing and practice at such an affordable price. Now I'm confused about which one to purchase...another guitar or a multiprocessor?
Thank you for this review. How does the white color look in real life? On the video it seems like it is shimmering and have pearl effect. Is it just on the camera or does it really look like this?
Could this be the new thing? When metal drivers first hit the market in golf, most said , naw just stick with traditional woods. Look how that turned out. Cool guitar Clint, hope you put up a video with you laying it. 👍
@ClintCurtis Clint I've gotta tell you. I'm 55 and have just started to try learning guitar. You've been a great inspiration. I love your playing and videos. I bought a Schecter omen 6. Any opinion on Schecter?
Every reviewer of this guitar more or less has this sensation of the sound coming "from the room" rather than from the guitar... I wonder if this is just a cognitive effect coming from the habit a guitarist have, which is to hear the amplified sounds of the guitar from outside of the instrument... I'd be curious to know if the same happens to a completely naive player who never played electric guitars before...
