No clue how this corny strategy still hasn't been patched out yet. Your inkling should drop the power clam after super jumping and the ball should bounce unpredictably like a football in real life. You shouldn't be able to jump to an invincible special like kraken period.
It’s fine jumping to teammates, the issue is jumping to kraken. That’s just so broken, there should even be a window where after transforming back you can’t jump to that teammate for a bit
The other toxic strat I learned from Kiver, in Splatoon 2: When your team has the lead, make as many power clams as possible an just drop them, or gather clams and throw them off the map. No clams on the map = other team can't make a power clam and so can't score.
I could be wrong, but wasn't it possible to use Splash Wall to block the Super Clam throw from the opposing superjumper when they did the Kraken Super Clam strategy in that one clip in this video?
