For anybody curious, the manga is called (the death mage. Doesn't want a 4th life.) And honestly, didn't even watch the video, but I've read the entirety of the Manga and I can honestly say I hate that God just as much.
Ah yes, one of the few Megaten Protagonists Mangas...like seriously, how many of these protags problems aren't with the people in their lives, but with the gods who pass out skills, but they just kinda let that slide? This guy, no, once he starts gaining the power, it (actually accidentally) turns into him against GOD. And he's winning. Better yet, this was the god in question being so good at his specific job that no one cared to stop him in the Celestial Realm(thousands of worlds are implied to have relied on his reincarnation system at one point), but outside that ONE thing, he sucks at everything else, and is so lazy, he eventually screws this up terribly. By the time it gets back to him, the god has pissed off EVERYONE in several heavens, and worse yet, has accidentally created a sealed system for three worlds, which WILL kill everything, mortal or divine, if it continues too long. Yes, these are spoilers, but I just want to point out how this one goes different from most. Better yet? The protag isn't even TRYING to make war with this god, him just existing is enough to start the fight, and his continuing to exist is enough to WIN said fight for the first few rounds.
@@asafkuslansky228 For the most part, they live good lives in the other world, until those kids he freed early on break free of the people who CONTINUED testing them, and unlike him, who went to the classmates with open arms, the children, who had these people take away their one ray of hope, make them suffer for doing so. To be fair to his classmates, and something he'll admit later, there was literally no way for them to know they were being lied to. To be equally fair, they never asked questions, which helped perpetuate the lie. Two or three wind up facing him later on(the god reincarnates them again), which is also the point where he finds out the god of reincarnation is after him, and he winds up wiping their souls from existence. Not on purpose, it should be noted, that's just how his power works, and they refused to talk with him.
Calling this god the worst? You haven't seen much, young grasshopper. Compared to Aqua from Konosuba and others, this god is tame. Despite being attacked, the god apologized and granted another chance. Would you be as forgiving if someone tried to punch you? I find this god's actions reasonable.
Uhhhh, no this god is still fucking dumb. The better choice was to give him two choices at the second time he entered. Either go back to earth or go to another world with triple powers. However, for both choices, he would have to have his memory wiped so as not to seek revenge. This god instead just keeps putting MC into shitty situation after shitty situation. Put him into an actual good life to start over either way and wipe his memories.
Would you forgive a god who gave fortune that was rightful yours to a wannabe look alike, gives you a crappy second chance that ends with being killed by your peers and said look alike. Only for the god who wronged you say forgive me and your life will get better after two more life cycles. Just when he wants to let go of his hatred his new mom is unrightfully tortured and burned alive so a noble gets recognition. The god is asking for too much.
@@leearie6474 The god did far worse than punch the guy. His negligence resulted in the guy being literally tortured for his entire second life. And then instead of talking him down after he just suffered what felt like an agonizing betrayal at his moment of hope, he just punished him for having dark thoughts. Dark thoughts that he had zero ability to act on in that moment. The god basically just punished his own victim for being angry after being tortured and killed. At the very least, he could have said: "If you are going to blame someone, blame ME for screwing up so badly that you ended up in that situation. Not your classmates."
@@leyrua In such situations, fault isn't solely on anyone. The god called out all names, including the main character's. Personal experience: I share my name with my father. Misunderstandings are common. The person who remains silent shoulders the blame when things go awry. Both of us, sharing the same name, would approach upon hearing our name called, asking for clarification. The main character made no effort to rectify the identity mix-up. He stood apart while others engaged, akin to a child lingering behind, hoping for scraps. His name was called, yet he gave no sign of presence. The mistaken identity was due to another person present who the main character mistook for a different student, having his name. This lack of awareness is odd, as the main character was unaware of this classmate's existence. In the eyes of others, including the god, the main character received blessings. Blaming only one, not oneself, for failing to correct the mistake seems unjust. Both share responsibility, if any. Regarding the curse, the God imposed it to stop murder attempts. Honestly, the curse isn't severe; I've witnessed harsher punishments. This deity was pretty forgiving for who he thinks is a murderer. Although the man character could have kept his plans to himself. If he would have maintained his temper, he wouldn't have gotten punished and still did his revenge. Never tell your enemies you're coming.
Take note if Rodcourt had not cursed him he wouldnt have got vampire blood which had anti god effect and view and break taboo traits which was why he was able to lvl gaain skills and change classes
So he made a curse that canceled itself 💀 How much more useless this lunatic calling himself "god" can be? Literally aqua from konosuba was more useful
@@williejohnson1732 no he is a fucking lunatic self proclaiming himself as a god He is at the same level of aqua from konosuba Judt another buerocrat that redistributes abilities given to him from higher ups and then moves the souls between worlds In the manga je isnt even the only one that does that
After looking at the channel I doubt a part 2 will ever be uploaded as there are only recaps that had been discontinued from what I've seen but good luck in waiting 😅😅😅
the novel does a far better job telling the story. the manga leaves out a lot of nuance that makes you feel more for the characters as you know more about them and their individual circumstances
So god (rodcort) is a fragile narcissist that cannot acknowledge his failure and chooses to curse and silence the victims of his mess? Bruh that’s shameful Mc deserves vengeance
I love these kind of isekai manga with some main characters would go beyond creation of this pain and suffering of true infinity and true infinite lifespan of endless pain suffering Beyond creation of hell and become something like this and they get the ultimate endless get back man women adult women even kids
I never thought I would hate a god on anime BUT BRO THIS GOD IS FULL OF BULLSHIT LKE BRO ATLEAST GIVE HIM AN ELEMENT OF MAGIC NOT SOME BIG ASS CAPACITY BUT CANT USE MAGIC
So his next life is no better than the previous one at best and at worst, an even greater ordeal... 22:00 - Why beg for mercy? You gave him none. So...a Lich? If he's a monster, he's a monster of their making. 29:30 - Why is that god a vicious c*** as Tyrion Lannister would put his gods?
I am indifferent towards people disliking the god, and uninterested in the logic of the main character. The main character missed out on receiving skills when they were being distributed, and didn't respond when called, despite the other guy taking his place. In my experience sharing a name with my father, we clarify our presence when confused. The god apologized for the oversight. Compared to other gods like Aqua from Konosuba, this god isn't the worst. The main character should have clarified his identity. His failure to communicate led to a tragic misunderstanding. His ignorance about being a vampire and not expecting blood from his mother reflects his dense character. Ultimately, his exclusion from the group was his own fault, as he chose a path of blame and violence. Despite his actions, the god gave him another chance, raising questions about labeling the god as the worst. I personally think he was understanding. The MC literally attacked the God, still have shown no malice. As for his misfortunes, it is largely his own fault. Before encountering the god, his first life was already difficult. In his second life, his parents' actions and his trust in scientists led him astray. Blaming the god for his past seems unfounded. It's easy to shift blame, but ultimately, self-reflection is crucial when facing repeated hardships, regardless of others' involvement. The MC could blame a rock for misfortunes if he trips on it, following his logic.
The god didn't call him, he called the other guy who looks just like him. Their two names were so close to each other that he gave both powers to the same person. Also, the god cursed him to remove even more of his powers, and also purposefully put him in the torture room.
@@MicrowavedBurrito I still think he should have spoken up sooner, regardless of what you said. You saying the God put him in the torturer room? I thought the story said his parents sold him at 9:42?
