It'll happen. It might be this one, might be the next one, or the one after, hell might be the next 3. You never know, but I do know it's gonna happen.
Get a new comment, its been beat to death. If you had the cash instead of selling your asshole downtown for a few cheeseburgers you'd do the same thing
Bro, that power wiring alone makes that rig an Elite Master Rig. The amount of thinking and the amount of elbow grease put into this design is simply astounding. While I'm sure you're bound to make a couple of changes once put under it's paces, I'm pretty sure your first few runs are gonna leave you flabbergasted.
I am so stoked about everything you got going on. The company I work for does a large amount of the parts on the Ultrex. We also do parts on the Raptors. To know you are using these products makes me feel like I'm playing a part in the team. I may have even worked on the very equipment you are using. We will be cheering you on this season. Cheers from Wisconsin. If you get up this way I'll talk to the owners about a walk through of the factory
Sick Basscat man. Cant wait to see the first trip and see how well it performs for you. Also stoked to see how the new FFS transducers work for you. Just stoked in general to see you fishing the elites and everything you have going on man. I’ll be watching and rooting for you from PA!!!
I believe you made the right choice on your new ride! In your reveal video I knew what brand it was just by how you talked about the people who built it! What an honor for you to get to live fishing through a family like Basscat! That is truly a great family to be apart of and who better to have your back on the water! Congrats and I can’t wait to see all the adventures for the upcoming season!!
dude the front of your boat is insane, so glad to see you partner up with johnson outdoors. Youngstown State the team is fish for is also sponsored by Johnson! welcome to the team!
Man…great thinking outside the box on the setup! I love it!I’m anxious to see how it runs with all of the added and shifted weight from the typical setup. 🤞
Ive been following mealy marine longer than ive been following you . They have been progressing with the technology just as fast as its coming out . Glad you went with them
The crappie brakes need to link into spot lock and act as bow thrusters to keep you in a specific orientation in any conditions that the motors are capable of holding in.
Wow! The boat is so nice! Tricked out for sure. Can't wait to see how it does on the water. Looks so good. The other anglers are going to be shitting when the cover comes off at the ramps. Now all you got to do is figure all that stuff out and Win the first few tournaments!!! Y'all are an awesome team.
Haha man I'm gonna give it my best. Definitely levels to everything. If i can get a handful of checks this year I'll be heading in the right direction!
Wow I thought I was the only one that ran a 54" shaft because the 45" sucks in choppy water. Atleast I have never heard someone say it. Stone Cold Awesome rig ! You will win so often this year and I am going to claim you will win the next Classic in 2024 !!
Congrats, Ben! Living the dream, all the hard work is paying off! Stay humble, and don't second guess yourself and you will do great. Not sure how crazy I am about all the triangles compartments on the boat, but it is a sweet ride for sure!
absolutely badass! know you'll crush it this year man... I was 100% expecting you to have some NBT destroyer screens up front for Livescope. Great setup, and excited to see you in a bass cat.
Another great video sir, they did an excellent job on the installs as well. I can't wait for the video of the maiden voyage. Good luck to you this year sir I'll definitely be watching and rooting for you. Just curious, what do you think the top speed will be loaded down.
Have you named your new boat yet, Ben..? My suggestion would be something simple like "Black Cat". Because of its color, and having the brand name Puma. Dope bass boat!👍
Sick set up! The crappie brakes look interesting, never seen them before? Ive fished from a pedal drive kayak last 10 yrs. Last January I finally bought some electronics. Ultra 106sv, steady cast, & lvs34 system. It's been an awesome set up. I use perspective mode most of the time. I need take more time to learn forward.
Damn that’s sweet--gman said it well when he suggested you will take the classic. Your dedication and commitment is so friggin apparently…and a true promoter of the sport’s evolution ….i can’t wait for lake Champlain this year to see this rig and maybe get to meet you man. Kick some mf’n ass….hold on while shooting footage Coleslaw!!!
Ben and Coleslaw - just a quick thanks for making well thought out quality walk through vids of this rig. Bass Cat is VERY lucky to have you representing and showcasing their brand. Aside from you guys and Hunter Shryock - almost all the other pro “walk through” videos are horrible and almost unwatchable. John Crews, MDJ and others I like should have their rides revoked after watching their horrible vids. If that’s the amount of effort they put into representing the thing that literally makes them their living I sure as heck wouldn’t sponsor them. Keep it up fellas!
WAIT, WHAT NOW WE HAVE TROLLING MOTORS FOR OUR TALONS . !!!!!!!!! THIS IS AWESOME. RANDY BLOCKHEAD WILL HATE YOU EVEN MORE. SUCH A FAN OF YOURS. GOOD LUCK THIS SEAON WINNING EVERYTHING.
So sick to see you finally getting to reap some of the rewards of your dedication man!!! You really are one of the most driven individuals on the You Tubes for sure the amount of dedication that you show on a daily basis is incredible and it shows that anyone that wants it enough can get it if they give it their all. Thanks for all you do and everything you teach man. Wishing you the best of luck in the Classic and this coming year. I know you will crush this year no doubt. I will be cheering you on from southwestern Pa brother let’s gooooo!!!!!
Just amazing! GL with it and the season. Curious what mounts you used for the LS transducers to the TM shaft? I know the Perspective one really needs to be adjustable for different depths of water, and obviously zero degree for the Forward one. Ty
This boat is so fucking mint dude. Love to see how far you’ve come in the industry from the old stratos. Can’t wait to watch you at grand in the classic.
Dang man I counted at least 30k just in accessories, that had to be at least 40k with labor and wiring spent in 4-5days! I can only dream but very nice boat. Love the bass cats.
Super pumped for you dude! All of that stuff is badass! I'd say they made a little bit of money off of you. I'm ready to see how you do in the 1st tourney. You make catching fish look so easy with that livescope. For me it's not near that easy. I'd love to spend the day or Rayburn or Toledo with you picking your brain. Good luck and thanks for all of the interesting content.
I would love to rig boats full time in Kansas City, just not enough folks wanting pro boat riggers. They did a decent job, the wiring with that many rings going to the posts is a bit SUS. Distribution blocks (gold plated and fused) is the way to go for clean installs
Beautiful rig, beautiful rigging job...looking forward to seeing how it goes this season. Been jonesing for a Basscat for a while, this really didnt help lol...
Bro, can you even see over those 16's at the helm? I have a 12" on my CX-19, and I have to hike up in the seat sometimes to see over it. Maybe you can install a TV/FLIR camera on the bow that will display on the helm graph!
Beautiful rig ! Don’t know if you run a cover a lot or if your getting a custom made one but I suppose they can go around how far your MinnKota sticks out past the gunnel but I’m sure they can make it to fit. Also how would get in the boat from the front ? A lot of stuff going on there ! Hopefully I’ll see it in person at the Harris event I’m a Marshal for that one 👍👍 Good Luck this year !!
