These are awesome tips for the majority of content, im trying this on my next few videos, but it does destroy storytelling, I wouldn't use this on a documentary or short film for example, unless it has multiple parts of course...

I do not take the time to comment much on RU-vid but this channel is very deserving of it. Man! You're good. Just because your advice is so concise and on point, my mouth is drooling for the next video that you recommend. I am just starting my channel and will make sure to view all of your videos for the gold that they offer. Thanks a million $ worth!!
I feel like think media is so good at making video’s that we watch from beginning to end and after the video is done we click on another think media video to learn some new tips and tricks
@@PiperSavea haha, yes me too. I know Nick Nimmin also talks about how to end videos so our audience don’t leave prematurely and continue to watch our content. I’m going to be working on this for sure!
LMAO Love the way you ended this video XD Flawless execution. This man practices what he preaches and does it well....cause I HAVE to watch the next one.
My head voice saying "but... I dont have the next video made yet how would I do this?" then literally at the moment he says "you're probably thinking 'I dont have that video yet' 😂 Tripped me out so bad I thought you were reading my mind LOL great content! Super informative.
The key element to getting views and keeping people is GOOD CONTENT. If you have good content people will stay and watch. Once RU-vid then pushes a suggested video and someone watches that video, it's a good motion for RU-vid to push things out. Don't make content that you don't want to make however, that causes burn out and ends up going no where.
I am a bit confused. You said you did this to a video that was 7 days old then it took off again...but you cannot add this into an old video after the fact. So how do you add what isn't already there to change old videos to make the last tip pointing them to another video?
I believe they were explaining how you can Improve the session time of old videos by watching them and leading into your next video. And then they explained how to improve upon that concept in future videos. Not 100% sure though!
@@ScriptedRealityYT I am still trying to understand it as well...nothing changed in the old video unless you remove content not add content. And people are already using end screens with videos on them in their old videos. I think it is a great point to not wind down, have a specific video in your script and point people to it as a last action step that makes sense with the content on the new video/flows into it well.
i have noticed that this channel does end cards really well! ive been changing mine up, got rid of the end screen, and im now verbally referring people to another video, and ive seen good results!!!
Great content as usual. I liked the break down of tips. It took a little bit to get to the tips, but once we got there - very valuable. Essentially, plan what your next video is, and introduce a new problem at the end of the video that introduces and solves that new problem. I will give this some effort in my new videos. All the very best, Cheers Rick
DUDE your nickname needs to have the word “crack” in it because your videos are ADDICTIVE. I’ve been binge watching you for HOURS. And it’s ALL been fed by your end cards. I so needed this. FORGET notes, I need a wall-size white board to create a brainstorm session from all of your tips. Touching on one thing you said about getting to the point: I literally scrub videos that seem to drag on and on, in search of the point they claim they’re trying to make.
im on the best rabbit hole right now haha, you guys are all over my feed, and Im totally okay with that!!! AND HOOKED ME INTO THE NEXT ONE! clever strategy!
Excellent advice. You are a master at transitioning to the next Video with a call to action and a reason to act now. I wanted to watch one of your videos this morning and ended up so far hanging around for 5 or 6 of them because the topics are so very will interwoven and sound relevant as continuations that need to be seen. Congratulations !
0:25 - “The most underrated hack for getting more views on your old RU-vid videos is getting people to watch your video the whole way through, and then to watch another one.” 🔥
But I’m trying to figure out if it’s an old video, and people aren’t watching it all the way through and you can’t re-edit the video, what magical action can be taken to suddenly get people to watch all the way through? He didn’t really answer that
@@LindseyDara You make a new video which references the old video at the end of it. You can’t change the session time of the old video but you can at least get people clicking onto it which will help push it onto the algorithm a little more.
Wow I have been doing this wrong on all my Videos! I am definitely going to try this out! ty Nolan! Also we finally hit RU-vid Partner! We love you Think Media!
Another great video, Nolan. I have a hiking and outdoor equipment channel. I have a hard time keeping people to the end of my hiking videos. I am trying to figure out how to do story telling with a hiking video.
I've literally just went from one video to the next of yours until here... a total now of 5 videos in a row. It feels like a course the way you've set up from one video to the next
And finally someone brings up fishing 🎣. My hubby has a fishing channel and we always wonder how to implement the tips and tricks 👌 also brilliant how Nolan shows what he tells
Thanks for all the great tips, I will use these to improve my channel. 😊 What happens when I remove my clips to re-edit them. Will I loose all the views for that video then? How do I re-edit my videos in the best way?
I'm into the third Video of your RU-vid Tips :D Now the 4th is coming. You created a great rabbit hole. haha But it has loads of value, so it's totally fine! And it actually makes sens. Because you could have put these Videos into ONE BIG TUTORIAL, but it's unlikely that someone would watch 1:30h of that in one Go. So well planned and executed!
Wow!!!! Making the end-card the last tip of your video was the biggest help I received all day!!!! So so so amazing! I've been watching you (on a rabbit hole) for about an hour now and this video hit so hard... amazing !!!!!!
