@@oeufoplat1079 how you play on 3070? :D my old laptop also had 3070 and elden ring crashed 24/7 after patch 1.8. i don’t know why but patch 1.8 just crashed my game :D

@SilverBoy-er4kb yeah I do, and the only problem I ever encountered was a huge freeze followed by a black screen (because I played for 4 hours during summer and it crashed due to overheat)

Yeap malenia is basically what if pinwheel had 20k heath and a nuke which can be dodged only with a heavy shield with huuuuge fire resist

@@SilverBoy-er4kb yup, that one. Literally do a left dodge every 3 strikes - and you took 0 damage with huge opener after. Congrats. When Malenia does her flurry upclose and you haven't learned ultra-complicated technique to run circles around her with dodging after in specific direction (or don't have a greatshield with stamina bar of a train) you are f*cked 100%. The only thing that at some point makes this situation better is the fact that she uses it only on certain health loss points. So she can be baited on using this move. But this is the only move in my whole gaming career that I consider as complete and total bullshit.

yea didn't healed that much just 4 k hp healed not a big of a deal. also yes i know that you can dodge this move but that was not the point. the point was that without waterfowl she cant do sh@t

@@SilverBoy-er4kb Watch your video again. She healed 1k health at best. At that level that's less than a light attack. She's not useless without waterfowl dance. Sure, it is without question her most dangerous attack, but when I was learning how to beat her she also got me with other stuff. Her scarlet aeonia can one shot you. Her grab attack does a lot of damage and is not very telegraphed. That attack where she throws spectral copies of herself at you and after that she does a long range thrust killed me at least 10 times. It's her only attack that I still have no ideea how to evade consistently. Also many of her attacks have very similar wind ups so while they may seem easy to dodge in a video, while you are learning how to beat her you will often confuse one for the other. For example, when she jumps in the air and floats of a moment, she might be doing waterfowl or she might be doing her swipe followed by a thrust. If you don't know the difference and guess wrong, you're dead.

@@mekmekoo1269 irewatched it and it healed her around 2.3 k heath but the thing is that she completely missed her "second part" of her combo and almost fully missed her third part. if all of it hitted it would EASY healed her for 4-5 k heath. scarlet aeonia yes can one shot you but cmon all you have to do to dodge this move is to run at her direction without stopping. her grab attack yes does A LOT of dmg but unless you push 24/7 or if you were unlucky as me ( she grabbed me while i was in the middle of lions claw ashe of war animation :D) i hardly can imagine her catching you. her phantoms yes are annoing but they don't rly have a big amount of dmg. if you are low on stamina you can allow one of them to hit you and as long as you dodge malenias charge you are fine. and the most dangerous part about her beside waterfowl is rot. if she stacked rot on you consider the fact that you lost but i fought her A LOT and only once or twice she stacked rot one me. i either killed her or she just oneshotted me with waterfowl. yes sometime she can kill you without waterfowl but you probably were tilted at this point.

@@SilverBoy-er4kbMalenia has around 33k total. It really doesn't look like she healed as much as you say but whatever. I never said anything about the rot. I said that before you understand her windups in detail you can easily mistake one attack for another and get killed. Also imagine Malenia without waterfowl. Is she really more pathetic and helpless than most DS1 bosses? Really? More helpless than asylum demon? More helpless than Taurus demon? Gapping dragon? Moonlight butterfly? Maybe you haven't played DS1 in a long time and don't remember but those bosses only have very few attack, they are very very telegraphed and they stand around doing nothing for a very long time in-between attacks. I would say Malenia without waterfowl would be just a little more dangerous than Artorias.

@@SilverBoy-er4kb nonetheless I think we need more of this stuff. Maliketh should have 2 separate health bars for each of his forms. Same goes for Godfrey. And more 3 phase bosses. Being a battle junkie as I am I really like fighting fromsoft bosses but most of them can't put up a fight because of very low HP pool and too much scripted animations that can be abused by simply translating a boss from animation to animation (hi, Morgott) and in general they die too fast. But I suppose there are not so many people with similar mindset, most people have a goal to defeat the boss instead enjoying the fight itself. So I don't actually believe that fromsoft will fulfill my dream...

@Sargatas i kinda agree but at the same time no. Malekith and godfrey would be muuuuuch better if they started as malekith and loux. You already fought them you already beated their phase one why force players to fight them again? Okey once okey twice but 7 fking time? Rly? (And this is only about remembrance bosses if we count all reskins oooo boooy) Also yea scripted animations are just yea. the best example isn’t morgott its godrick. In phase two when his cutscene end if you run at him while he is stuck in his flamethrower animation you can 2 shot him if you have good weapon

@@SilverBoy-er4kb in fact, I agree about Maliketh, I don't like his first phase either. For a wolf he fights like a damn rat, jumping away constantly and throwing rocks. Even now, when I know his both movesets 100% I still don't think that his first phase makes him any real credit. And his health bar in 2 phase is soooo damn low...literally 3-4 bonks with a giant sword and that's it. With 50 strength and couple of simple buffs. A pity, really... Godfrey acquires at least some new moves compared to his golden projection, so I don't actually mind it. But again, I didn't learn his moveset until NG+7 because only there he was tanky enough to not die where he stands while he does his ground slam animation with FIVE seconds of preparation. Damn, I can go bring myself a tea while he does that move. TWICE as the fight goes since he does it again in Hoarah Loux mode. And yeah, Godrick is the only boss in the entire game that's 2-nd phase is WEAKER then the first... And by the way, you can do the same "come very close and smash to the face" thing to Rennala since her beam won't hit you if you touch her chest with your face. But in general I don't mind about big boss being met second time. For example I really liked Astel during my first playthrough. For some time it was my №1 boss of all the game. And when I met him second time in some random cave in consecrated snowfield my thoughts were "Oh, I can fight him second time? Great! Thanks fromsoft for allowing me fight my favorite boss the second time because I didn't have enough."
