It's common for NCT to record songs in 24 hours. They'll start recording in the morning and record till early the next morning. The members have talked about how they'll go to the studio at like 1am be in there till 5am. Obviously it can take longer if things need to be re-recorded. Also, SM has around 3 different main studios that they use, one of those being in house, so they can book long sessions and just go straight through every member.

13:00 Let me explain a little bit lol, before nct was even created there's a thing called "SM Rookies" they introduce trainees who are likely to make their debut but it doesn't happen all the time. And it's not only for nct before them Red Velvet were sm rookies too. Anyways while they were trainees they had the chance to perform in a small concert (covers of other SM artists and even original songs) and be part of SM Town.

I recommend to listen to NCT Universe album is such a no skip album and it’s so good. My fav songs are OK, Dreaming, Round and Round, and Miracle

to be honest they often start early in the mornings and record one at a time i’m pretty sure and once their done with their parts they usually go home which could be why doyoung changed. After his part (since he was the first to record) he probably went home and then did whatever and came back later on in the day. Also, a lot of members (like haechan for example) are known for recording their parts pretty fast. But, i’m sure they do rehearse/practice before hand, etc. Also at 2:29:01 i’m pretty sure haechan meant they’re finally coming back after a year (like releasing music and stuff).

what haechan meant with "about a year" at the end was that they(127) were coming back with their 3rd album after a year of break and magic carpet ride was on the album not that it took a year to record lmfao😭 also to put their schedule into perspective during comebacks they usually have to record contents for RU-vid, go to music shows(sometimes also have to pre record stages if they have sets so they go in early morning leave and then come back for the live broadcast), dance practices, variety shows/outside of RU-vid content, individual schedules and more that we don't know about for example during sticker promotions everyone was insanely busy, taeyong at that time was on a show called street women fighter as a judge and was seen going from music shows to film it a lot they were also preparing for favorite because the break in between favorite and sticker was so short and were prob also preparing for universe and getting ready for their concert(on December 17th) during sticker era there was a live(a huya gaming one where they play pubg) and taeyong said he hadn't slept in 36 hours and then they had a pre recording basically right after so he couldn't have slept or only got a couple mins and then continued for another day then after favorite ended universe started then their concert happened then the smcu album came out then the smcu concert happened and taeyong choreographed zoo and the members of zoo had to learn it then award show season started(ty actually got sick at mama and wasn't on stage to accept awards but then came on for the performance) and then 127 had a concert that was broadcasted in Japan bc they couldn't physically go there and somewhere during this mark recorded child now they r having a little rest, honestly all members r prob exhausted esp bc dream is now preparing an album but 127 must be insanely exhausted rn from sticker(9/17)-around 1/25ish they didn't rest and hc and mark still haven't rested and wont rest until dream activities for their new album end honestly I hope they all get rest soon they've been working so hard:(

"Miracle" was WayV's unit song for the NCT Universe Album and the song is actually longer, this is just a track video for it. You should check it out the whole song. Winwin is not in there because he's killing it at China and SM hasn't cleared Lucas's name yet after that scandal broke out last year and that's why he is on hiatus still, although he is innocent. Of all the units of NCT, WayV is the most underrated one.

That concert that they had back in December, was insane!!! It was a 3 hour concert. The fans couldn't yell they could only clap due to the regulations which was so frustrating and I couldn't yell either because the concert was at 2 or 3 AM my time. All the solo stages and mini unit songs were just too much for my heart idk how the fans there witnessing it in real life didn't die lol. I was dying and it was through a screen

Love sign is a song written and composed by haechan and taeil with a producer, and they had total creative control as you can see with haechan choreographing his dance and taeil playing the synth but it's not officially released.

Oh lol you guys misunderstood in the end but what Haechan was saying in the end of the uncut was not that it's been more than a year of them working on the song but that this album that they're working for is more than a year after their previously released album. He was referring to the long gap between the albums. They've all talked about their excitement and aims for this album in particular because this was the longest gap they've had (1.5 years) and this album is what they are finally putting out for their long awaited comeback

SM entertainment is known for great vocalists so its not suprising that NCT sings well live , the whole SM family does

Oh yeahhh, love the Doyoung's appreciation here! He is one of the most emotional singers in nct.. in his musical too, although he did it so many times, he never failed to shed tears or at least teared up. He's a very emotional guy and he shows that on his stage too. Also for Magic Carpet Ride, just to let you know he's the only one credited for the background vocal for the song, as you can see, the video is the proof. He really did complete the song. He's just amazing singer and performer! Really hope you guys can react to his osts, singles and covers.

NCT Dream's "Be There For You" live is highly recommended. It's sang by dream's vocal line Renjun, Chenle (the one you kept praising the vocals in ANL and LSGO) and Haechan. Chenle also showcased his piano skills in that vid. A child prodigy who has been in the music scene ever since his fetus days😂💚

1:04:36 an advantage or a positive side to stanning NCT is that you're never in drought when it comes to content/ music. Like there's literally something dropping every month from comebacks, repackages, solo works, song covers, funny variety contents etc on their youtube channel so you're always satisfied content wise. Also, I also enjoy the range in genres in their discography. I feel like they have everything for each mood and you don't have to go searching somewhere else for a particular type of music. For example, feeling sad =Back 2 U-127, feeling nostalgic = Rainbow nct Dream, want to dance + kick back - WayV, in need of emotional manipulation + From Home - nct U. there is literally everything for everyone. Also, i really love the whole experimental sound they have. I think it makes it very exciting because you can almost never know what the theme of the next comeback is going to be but this can also be a disadvantage. On the negative side, as much as I love the experimental concept they have I feel like it can either make or break an album. Also, the favouritism that goes towards some members more than others. I understand why some members are clearly favoured more than others in the group but I feel like these other members should be given at least a little more nudge to the spotlight like the rest of their members. Like, why have 23 members and only like 3/4 are more known are basically more expensive when you can market like 10-15 to be more popular and make more money.

for recordings, I also feel like they only spend like about 1 day (or 2). Depending on the song and how much lines the members have, they can spend only like 30mins-1hr (or longer) in the booth. But because these guys are probably very good/talented, it doesn't usually take them that long to perfect their lines (unless you're like Mark/Doyoung who would nitpick a single word to redo). I don't know about 'Magic Carpet Ride', but for another song, Doyoung only spent around 15 mins to record his part, which the engineer told Doyoung (so if the video edited that part out, we wouldn't have known.) Also, the way they edit the videos and only show some parts, it's hard to actually know, and the members themselves haven't revealed how long they took so it's just speculations. Sometimes the videos do let us hear the feedback from the engineer/vocal guide people, but sometimes they cut it out entirely. Maybe some engineers/vocal person doesn't want their voices to be in the video for privacy reasons? or some other reason.

The nct dream's member u said that he's very talented is chenle he's a main vocal in the group. He has been a singer since he was a kid he even had a concert and fansign event back then in China(he's Chinese). And that's actually how he got into sm they were the one who called for him first

They are so fierce, that you can't tell who's singing yet they can sound so different in a track. They harmonize beautifully. I have been following them closely so I can tell but it took time. lol Their vocals are insane. I've had the privilege of hearing and seeing them live. They sound like live cds. Tbh, E is right, NCT's sound is not found much in the industry. All their albums mini or full are non skip for me. Never bored. Their singers can rap and their rappers can out sing most of others out there... They are so versatile and unique in everything. Rap, writing, producing, dance, music, singing and style...Jaehyun does a lot of their background vocals...😘

Love Sign was performed in NEO CITY: THE LINK, which is their on-going tour right now, in December so it doesn't have a studio version yet, hoping we do get one. The fans weren't allowed to scream and only clap because of covid regulations. I'm honestly impressed at the fans that were present because if I was there I could've screamed my lungs out😅 Love Sign was just one of the songs they performed and they performed more songs from Neo Zone, Sticker, and Favorite album and other more songs.

I like seeing the behind the scenes of song production and recording, along with the MVs as well! This is the main reason I love and Stan NCT, you truly get everything from this one group. They give you no time to rest and are constantly feeding us with things, either it be music, vlogs, content videos and even video playlists! Whatever mood/genre you are in, there is a song to satisfy that. Sometimes NCTzens even get overwhelmed and get caught up with all the content lol. One thing I really do look forward to, which hopefully is what the NCT Lab project is suppose to fulfill is the individual projects to get to know them as individual artists, especially ones that don’t get much vocal/musical exposure. What you guys said after watching back 2 u is sooo true. Their concept originally was in fact very hard to sell, people scoffs when heard of the concept as it was very different and unheard of. In fact the first few years of their debut they were very underrated and a lot of kpop fans hesitates to learn about them bcs of their complicated concept. It takes time, comebacks by comebacks until they slowly gain their popularity that they have now.

Hello!!! I loved this Feature Friday. I just wanted to mention on the uncut the are 2 different studios the guys are working in one smaller one with a door behind and the other is a larger gray room with a curtain so they are working for at least two days. And I think it is a mix of the guys practicing with the demo and coming up with how they want to sing. I believe ,don't quote me, but on the sticker uncut mark tells them he came up with two versions of his part ask the producer to pick the better one. But the more you watch the uncut you will see different cuts of the members discussing with the producer/songwriter. I loved the uncut reaction though it was fun to watch.

I've been looking forward to this for so long, I'm glad ya'll got to hear more of their bsides and live vocals!!
