It would be so cheep and easy to put a spring loaded iddler wheel agenst that chain to keep tension on it so it won't keep comming off .

I’ve bought some bits of opal to have a go at making something from it,can someone with now ledge of it let me know what I use to polish it and shape it,I think wet and dry sandpaper but am not sure.

I can assure you the prices that get quoted are nothing near what the miners are getting . The prices you hear are full blown retail on ya best day . 🤪
