Although I have watched this demo for 100times and have purchased this pedal. I still sometime want to come back and check this intro then on FIRE❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Love that opening jam! Too many worry about playing “the right thing” and forget it’s about playing what makes you smile!! Always love your videos Sasha! This one is no different.
This is THE review that made my purchase this. Many of the other ones are all full gain, but this one really highlights the possibilities of what the pedal can do. I'm so glad you showcased how well it plays cleaned up - I was pretty amazed at that! Sounds like this could replace a ton of tonebender-esque pedals I own! Thanks for making the best review out there :D
I'm looking for a new fuzz and watching all your videos.. you don't make it easy cause every pedal sounds phenomal with your playing ^^ really liked this one and the thorpy field marshal so far.
So happy I watch this video, a fantastic demo Sasha. I went straight away to buy The Boneyard, so glad I did because it is amazing and now seem to be sold out everywhere. Suggest for another video Sasha: The Boneyard with Pulse Doppler they work so well together.
Fantastic demo there. Loved the opening jam! I have this pedal and it’s already my favourite fuzz pedal. I knew it would be good though as Thorpy makes fantastic fuzz pedals!
Thorpy just had a surprise small batch made! all sold out now but I was lucky to get in there and order the blue version :) been eyeing this pedal for awhile! Prices on eBay are a bit high :) but 350 pounds for the new batch was the cheapest I’ve seen them so I jumped at it :)
In this case it's a track from artlist.io! I also use a lot of tracks from Danish Pete and some of them I make myself. Those are available on my Patreon page
@@SashaIvantic thanks for answering, but I meant on a versatile in a different way haha. Like, for example, I have a gig where I'll be covering led zeppelin 1 and jimi hendrix, would you take a fuzz face or a tone bender style pedal?
@@OniDasAlagoas If you're trying to nail each guitarist's sound, then ideally both. If you have a use for the Fuzz Face's cleanup, then that makes sense. If you're playing more LZ songs or generally more by guys who used Tonebenders, makes more sense to go for more 'authenticity' for more of the set. Also your setup makes a big deal of difference and you might find one works better for you in your setup.
Actually found it: Adrenaline by BalloonPlanet. It’s also on other streaming platforms (you know, the ones I can’t mention without my comment being auto-deleted)
@@SashaIvantic OK another question! I got a great deal on a used one and got it today! Same settings as yours and with a Strat, but man is this thing noisy!! Is there a trick?
This video inspired me to get that pedal! Any advice on how to get that gated sound? I'm matching the settings but not hearing the same sound. Anything in the chain besides guitar, pedal and amp? Thanks for making this video!
For the whole demo bit it's just the Boneyard straight to amp! Maybe lower the feed a bit? If you're hitting it with higher output pickups the pedal needs less voltage for the gate to close.
@@SashaIvantic thanks! I started getting that sound after a while! Not sure what I did different. I did add a little break up on my Blues Jr and bumped the volume up. Killer pedal, killer demo!
I had one of these in my shopping cart, but it was a bad week for $$ so I decided to hold off. Regretting this big time. Thorpy has promised a silicone version, though, so hopefully that's soon.
