I hate this monster mother, she tortured her son emotionally she put blaming him losing her daughter,she can’t run she is guilty cause went to play madjong with her friends left her son and daughter and locked the door,when kids eating wallnuts the daughter accidentally choked the walknut there’s no way out for Ling xiao to get help because door eas locked,he broke the window glass screaming for help but his sister couldn’t make it,shame of this kind of mother.

This drama with this nutty mom drove me crazy. I love the actors but the plot indulging this controlling mom and not standing up to her was agonizing

One of the sweetest moments in this show was when they were all kids, and the 3 kids were asleep in her bed and he was holding her hand back then, sound asleep, with her hand on his chest. His mother was a true mental case, and tortured a truly fine young man. Go Ahead has a happy ending, and it's a wonderful show! I've rewatched it several times.

This “mother”, it’s hard to use that word to describe her is despicable, she is vile and manipulative, she knows her son has a young woman he is crazy in love with and she is a great person but because she is jealous that she is the girl he grew up with ( because she basically abandoned her son) she is trying to destroy him!!!

She hate her son GF because when she was young she saw through her and ask her to give her Ling xiao as she don't love him and like she was ruining away she agree and now she blame her for the ruined relationship with his son She balme everyone about the pb on her life except the real culprit : HERSELF
