I started watching this this movie thinking it was just chick flick. FANTASTIC MOVIE, the ending was beautiful. Anyone who experiences that kinda love is truly lucky.
In real life it would mean two people alone in the cold missing physical human contact. I would fuck a stranger too up there but I wouldn’t fall in love with her. It’s normal for the human nature to act in that way in these situations. Fucking love story ruined everything
No, it's about cheating on your husband that loves you with a man you've known for two days and getting in on in a cabin in the middle of a blizzard. Cause the best way to survive in the snow is to take off all your clothes.
@@cadenhutchison5138 no you didn't just go there.. did you even watch the movie? They were literally on the brink of eventually dying with no hope.. the scene wasn't just about that, it was pretty well done, showing how they both had done so much to lead up to that point.. they fell in love before that scene, aside from that she was about to get married before the survival event.. but when she returned home she knew all along an decided to not marry him. I could go on, but at this point, you should actually watch the movie before saying something like that
Actually it’s kinda bad. I mean the movie sucks with terrible acting, boring scenes you know. And the love story itself doesn’t come with any logic at all. The girl should stay with her husband. I mean when you’re surviving in a dangerous place like this with only one person you can be with it’s not strange that they ends up having sex. They’re alone and in the end they only have each other both missing the physical human contact, of course they do as they do up there. But back in civilization - like she said the world is bigger; she should stay with that. If me and a stranger would be trapped up there we would fuck too, but back in normal it wouldn’t mean anything because I have my family and life that I’ve built up. Shame that the idea of survival had to be ruined with a lame, unnecessary love story!!!
leeeastwood guess we just wait and see if that day comes. If we survive sure I’ll go on a restaurant with the man but then keep walking without any regrets :) and not turn back like dat bitch did!
@@barbie-q4017 "When you're surviving blabla..." Have you ever survived from something like this ? If not, how can you tell she has to "stay with her husband" and "it's normal to end up having sex with a stranger" ? You think you know anything, but dude, it's just a movie...
@@barbie-q4017 it is perfectly fascinating how white women are entirely taken away by these steong black dues☺😍 the most exciring part is when they take& own wives away from husbands👸 they must own all the wives& eat them sexually, i had a black driend who got had a aex with a white wife& owned her fucked her
My boyfriend really loved the movie. Or are guys just into Idris movies? Idk but this is the first rom com I had him watch where he didn't say "it was OK", he actually gave me a whole review from start to finish and suggested we get it on DVD as well.
When Im finally permitted to have some love in my life... maybe when all my older brothers finally pass away and Im like 70 or thereabout.. I might be able to start dating and maybe have some love in my life. If I am permitted of course. Who knows.. when there are no more brother to pay bills for, maybe the nephews and nieces can start raiding my wallet.. Because what do I need with money if I am so old.
Probably one of my favourite ALL TIME movies. Only time will tell how much of an iconic picture movie this is, but i am surely certain it is phenomenal. The whole movie revolves around two characters through a tail of tragedy, perseverance, love. Idris and Kate were absolutely amazing in this. The way you can see the characters actually hurting from walking away from each other is just tearful. Seriously do not know how they got overlooked in major awards and criticized by many critics. This was amazing!!!
Twin flame love. Inevitably the pull becomes so powerful and undeniable it takes over every fiber of your physical being and the urge to come into union with one another is so much greater than all of your earthly doubts and fears. 🙏🏻❤️
I really liked this movie, especially the scenes where they came home but they both have troubles living normal again. They shared the same pain for what must have felt like ages. They fell in love during such a hard time. It's like they're broken pieces that fit perfectly for each other.
@GamerDude... what does colour has to do with anything... The guy is hot! He could be blue... Still would be all the same to me. Candy eye is candy eye..
Love is knowing when neither one of you can’t live without each other, no matter how much you try to fight or deny it. Believe me, I know all that very well.
Wow people just wow. Again not here to argue. Its a movie..lol that I thought had a beautiful ending and as usual some just want a debate or a reason to argue.
Hot Kitchen My best friend is recently married just had their second kid and bought a huge house with their "white" & "black" money.... Try not to delude yourself into thinking your hopes and wants are actually fact cretin. This movie exemplifies true love in its barest foundations! That is a fact.
That was SO good!!! When I first saw it, I thought, "Wait, no! Don't stop there!!" Now I realize they didn't need words. Words were what they used in the restaurant & she used words before they parted different ways. They knew how they felt. It would've been iffy if they'd just returned from the mountain. It would've probably been "trauma-bonding." But, there had been time with both "moving on" & trying unsuccessfully to fit back into their old lives.
Es una escena, que representa la fuerza del destino y del amor que les llevó a volver a reunirse con más fuerza sí cabe qué cuando se conocieron. Magnífica interpretación de idris y winslet.
Love is as strong as death. Such depth of commitment and connection to another can only be fully proven under a life-or-death situation as the one portrayed in this movie.
Interracial love in a lot of ways is far stronger than same race, you know going in that it won't be easy and there will be external forces that will be trying to pull you apart.
Just seen this movie on RTE One earlier tonight another masterpiece of a movie for survival, 👩❤️👨, Kate Winslet again talented and extraordinarily beautiful 😍❤️ Idris Elba also great Feels almost Titanic again
Love is the most intense emotion of all. It sucks energy from everywhere and feeds the life force. Nothing stands before it. What a way of Expressing it. Love from Gudalur, The Nilgiris
Years from now, this motion picture will be recognized just as Casablanca and other pictures were as having captured and put plainly before our eyes an eternal human truth as only art can, that we all, have known a love which grips our souls in an inescapable embrace that no doubt or disbelief can ever break. The dark shadows of tragedy, sorrow, and loss that forever falls across our lives occurs when we turn our backs on that truth and let it go
when you love, truly love... there is nothing you can do if not hug your beloved one, but if you can't it hurts so much...and look for safety, but just time can work on this, and now it's time
You wanna be brutally honest? The whole thing was her fault. That they met. That they chartered a plane with a guy who was going to die anyway. That they ventured off the mountain without a plan. That she escaped a marriage with no connection. That he escaped a life of loneliness. That the unnamed dog got a home with people who loved him. About the only thing bad that happened is the doctor didn’t make it to the kid’s operation. But as mentioned, the pilot was gonna die anyways. So yeah. All her fault. I think this kinda makes up for not letting Jack up on the raft with her though.
I’m not crying 😢…FOH!…Wish they showed us more of the embrace and even after. What these two went through builds a bond u cant fake. These 2 are the type to stay married forever and even die in same hospital room holding hands. Damn! Kate W got me again! After making me cry in titanic, now this?!! lord!!
I loved the movie and the actors. Just wish directors would stop trying to go for the "Art Piece" endings. I don't consider them cool. We went through a lot with this amazing couple...during and after their time on the mountain. It would have been ice to see the looks on their faces when the finally knew they had to be together, and the final embrace.
The music is so amazing in this movie and then I looked up who composed it and I see Ramin Djawadi who did the music in GOT, and I was like ofc there’s a genius behind it
2:21 There is the difference between a great actor and a good actor. In one second that moment releasing all the inner tension. It always gives me the chills.
