Looks like a lot of fun . Looked like you could have used a little more water - What level was it and what time of year did you do it.. Allways good to see everyone zipped and clipped and wearing helmets :) I also liked the way you reviewed each section on the map .. I dont see that too often and if your a ww paddler like me it adds context to the next scene.. Yep watch out for those strainers. Thinking doggy lifejackets would reduce risk if you dumped and they got taken downstream , but also might snag in the bush when they would need to get back upstream on the shore ..
Are there maps of the river and where could I purchase one? I moved to Timmins last fall and have been eyeing the river on Google Earth. I have maps for the Grassy and the Tatachikapika from the Conservation Authority but didn't see a map for the Mountjoy. Doing the loop part of the Grassy this summer.
