Excellent. Confirmed my views, wanted to buy the Mous for my daughter, but they don’t go back to the iPhone 12 mini, so stayed with the Quad, lock. Mous replied quickly when asked about the backwards compatible nature, so thumbs up for that. I’m a Mous user, so once I get a new phone, I’ll be getting this for my bike!
I have both, Mous is better, more comfortable to use and prettier, waiting for an armband and motorcycle Mount to come out. Thank you both for the review. :)
Here I am, January 31, 2024. just pre-ordered my s24 ultra, looking for the BEST case that is also magSafe. It would also be nice to have the option to secure or lock my phone to a mount. Then I found mous cases. Everything is looking promising so I go to order me one and it says... Sorry, no results... Almost every other company with all of these features that i'm looking for has these cases for me to purchase. The evolution collection is only for iPhones? I knew once I saw this product. This is the one that I wanted. However it was not meant to be. 😂
Mous seems to be more thoughtful, especially to be able to use other accessories with it. Quad lock seems the better option for motorcycles or if you need more mounting options.
Don't bullshit people. I got one for Samsung Galaxy 22 ultra. On my first cycling trip, my phone was jumped out of the Evolution Cycle Mount drop, and all corner was crash ( I had glass protection from Mous ). I'm totally disappointed . So don't buy it or you want to pay for a new screen !!!
I really like this case, the new grip on the sides & back feels less slippery but the cutouts in the back look weird, i wish there was a version with no intralock!
QUESTION: I use the Mouse case as an everyday case and then swap out for quadlock when I’m riding - on my quadlock it has a handy go-pro style connection underneath and on this I attach my bike light. Does the mouse have this ability to mount a light underneath?
Another great video, thank you. I watch your videos each week and I have one plea: please slow down (slightly) the dialogue. It’s an accessibility issue and some of us silver surfers have a real hard job of keeping up!
Have you noticed that the Mous mounts stop holding phones at the set angle you choose because they "loosen" up over time? Both mounts I have from them (vent and suction) have done that. I love the case, but I need to be able to use the mounts. That is half of th deal for me. That said, the case is phenomenal (I have the 3.0 for my Note 20 Ultra)!
No doubts mous has a better system than quad lock (in 2022), but for me who bought into quad lock ecosystem since their inception, it would be very costly to abandon it and buying into the mous ecosystem.
I've watched 3 or 4 of your videos in trying to help me decide to either get the Peak Design Everyday or Mouse Evolution case. You really seem to hate the Everyday case, even though you broke the case before you were able to unlatch it. I currently use a Mous Walnut case and love it. However, after I completely destroyed my Huawei P20 Pro from running it over after it came loose from my ebike, I'm worried about that happening again to my Pixel 7 Pro which I've had less than 6 months. I'm definately leaning toward the Mous, but I'm just concerned with dust getting in through the 4 notches of the case. They make some good cases, but I really wish they would have had an internal cover for those notches on the Evolution. I will end up going with Mous's case and interlock system. Thanks for the wonderful videos o/
I like Mous' versatility and ease of use, so it's something that I may look into when I upgrade my phone or if they make phone cases that work with older phone models. Quad-lock has stand-alone adapters that can be mounted onto one's old phone cases, which is what I did. I like the easel stand ring for my phone, but I have to take the ring off to use the new vent mount on my car. If Mous makes adapters to fit old phone cases or makes Intralock cases for older phone models n the future, they may steal more of the Quad-Lock 's market share.
All mounting systems share one big problem. Their cases are fat, bulky and don’t go well with 3D protective glas on rounded screen edges. There is one simple solution tho, where all of them fail, most likely for profit reason.. Good, reliable, easy to use, MAG / wireless charging capable universal mounts. Something you 3M to your nice, thin case of choice. I know they offer these, but they are far from perfect, bulky, ugly or non wireless charging compatible, no matter the brand.
Can you guys do a comparison video on the universal adapters of the sp connect , quad lock, mous intralock, and peak design, I want to know if I can use any of the adapters on a waterproof 360 degree protection phone case with MagSafe and still have the MagSafe ability for wireless charging and accessories while having the secure locking mechanism of each brand. Thank you
Mous cases are great, keeps your phone protected and are not too big. The bike mounts are not too expensive like the peak design or quad lock. Having said that, these systems ties you up to one company, so when you replace your phone you need to buy a new expensive case from the same brand. A simple universal bike mount is not only much cheaper, you can use it with any case or phone or even without a case.
Aaron, the good thing with the quadlock case is for people who ride motorcycle, there is no other better and minimalist motorcycle mount better than quadlock.
That's how they market it. I prefer a ram x mount. Even off road. Brett tckacs as well apparently. He modded his to have a wireless charger. Which I was planning on doing as well.
@@erpmoto9363 fair enough. For short road drives I didn't use the straps every time. I dislike the cases most of these brands have though like quad lock. Give up a nicer case all the time for a bit more convenience on a few occasions wasn't worth it to me.
I did just that and didn’t notice a small pot hole on the road, my phone flew and almost had a heart attack lol. Good thing the car behind noticed it and stopped. So I changed to quadlock because of it. Lol.
The Mous Motorcycle mount now has vibration dampening. The Peak motorcycle mount also has vibration dampening. Its build in if you buy the motorcycle mount. RIP Quadlock literally about to return it. PS. Vibration dampening makes your phone shake more than normal. Not ideal for videos on regular bicycles.
Yeah, I'd buy this case if there were no holes in the back. Make a non-Intralock version, Mous! Wish they put the new buttons on the Limitless as well. Only bad thing about that is I have to buy another case lol
No its not, medium bump on road, case literally jumps from mount, cameras break. Never ever ever ever in the history of using quad lock my camera dropped from mount, so please beware when buying this.
I don't like the fact there are open holes at the back. dust dirt and all that will go in and scratch your back up edit part, yeah I saw the video saying it shouldn't be a problem but still, secondly no vibration dampener for motorcycles.. So it may damage the cameras.. Yaaay
Two words for motorcycle riders. Vibration dampener. That’s one thing that no other mountable phone case brand for motorcycles has done except quad lock. Having destroyed my iPhone 11 Pro Max on my bike because of vibration, I was so glad that someone came up with a solution to that problem.
I have the Pitaka Fusion Weaving with the Pro Car Charger and the Omoton Stand which all work really well with MagSafe. To me this seems like they are way behind, like what’s with all the cheap plastics and snap-on mounting when we have the power of MagSafe ?
Will this work on a generic (non charging) MagSafe type car dash/vent mount. I want to use a flat type magent mount in my car so I can turn the phone 360 degrees to suit my viewing angles, it seems the Quad Lock Mag head (both charging and non-charging) have the protruding knuckle - it doesn't make sense in a car other than lining it up correctly for Qi/Magsafe charging - but looks like the phone can only be vertical or horizontal 90° or 180° I want more freedom in the car that throw it on Magnet mount and turn it any direction I need it. Prefer to charge with USB C for super fast charging and not get very hot.
I bought a mous case in the UK, Amazon claim they delivered it the receptionist and I do not have one. I think the courier thought it was an IPad, they must have been very disappointed when the opened the package. Mous have failed to respond to my email, or investigate the matter so, I’ll have to open a dispute with my credit card company. I only purchased the item based on the review of this channel, so due to poor customer service I will have to purchase the ESR case instead.
I bought I limitless 4.0 for my iPhone 12 Pro Max and after the phone fell into my car from the seat to the carpet the main camera lens cracked…I sent the company an email and first they said that they are keen to help, then they said that I got a refund so I don’t deserve anything and finally when I sent back the money they responded after many days that I am not eligible for anything than my money back or a replacement because they don’t know if the damage existed before I bought their case…DON’T BUY MOUS MARKETING!!!!!!
The release on that mount would be a pain either in my car or on my bike, say what you will but quadlock was smarter with their design and the blue push tabs is a clear copy of quad locks blue tabs
Looks good but I can’t help wonder how easy it’s going to be to get it off the mount. I have quadlock and have had for years. Wireless charging on my motorcycles and car and normal on other stuff like mountain bike. My issue with quad lock is the hump on the back and how it stops me using stuff on it and interferes with wireless charging pads. The quad lock mounts extend past the edge of the phone so even with gloves on I can release it. Every vid I’ve seen on the mous it’s approached from behind and released. This just isn’t possible where I have mine mounted on adventure bike and handlebar on my work bike. I just wouldn’t be able to get to the release points.
I mean no harm to you and your chanal. But I belived that you are not a targeted demographic for quadlock sistem. Over the years I and manny of my friends tried numerous mounting sistems to mount our phone to our motorcycles. Nead les to say manny phone wer post in proces and In the end only quadlock prow itself to be strog enough to secure a phone to motorcycle
Have you ever tried fidlock magnet+vacuum mounting system(especially for bicycle and/or motorbike)? Would be interested how do you see it. I like the way you see these stuff IRL.
But for motorcycles it doesn't have a vibration elimination mount. As Quadlock does. Motorcycle vibrations seems to be killing camera's stabilization systems.
Now, if only they build it with built in wireless charger for the motorcycle mount that is weatherproof like the quadlock motorcycle wireless charger mount .. that will definitely make me switch and never look back at quadlock
Looking to buy this with the bicycle mount. What’s your confidence level that the phone will be securely mounted over gravel roads and moderate unexpected bumps like a 2-3 inch drop off? Thanks for the video!
