The production on this video is INSANE! If you arent doing editing as a career you are in the wrong job! The best SIM vid I have ever seen production wise. Excellent!
Awesome video! Amazing to see how much effort you put in getting so many different camera angels, well done! Just one quick tip, looks like you forgot your beacon lights during engine start. You're supposed to turn them on just before starting the engines and you only turn them off once you shut your engines down again :)
Nice video. Couple of questions/thoughts. Why are the RAT deployed? The sound from the cockpit at takeoff sounds more realistic than from the cabin I think. You miss the typical “Airbus sound” from the cabin of some reason. (The IAE V2500 sound) but stunned by the scenery and realism in the graphics. 💪🏻🤩
Very cool video. Nice to see how close to realism it gets in MSFS. Great editing as well. If I have to mention one point, with both engines working and the APU also working it was a bit weird to see the RAT was out. Other than that, well done!
It’s funny how many people comment on “correct procedures” after you’ve taken insane amount of time to edit and show us your flight. Who gives a rats tooty if he used full flaps for takeoff or strobes on during preflight check? Sometimes I just want to get in and fly and not follow detailed check lists as I may not have a lot of time to fly. It’s his simulator, he can fly and create content without needing any “tips”. Great video, amazing graphics and editing skills!
Congratulations also for the excellent landing, who knows knows lol!! I've already left that super deserved like of this humble simulator from Brazil! Hug!
Superb video production! Incredible realism with this version of flight simulation software. It is far superior to the previous iteration I am more familiar with. Thank You for your efforts in creating your video! It was quite enjoyable to watch it.
The thing that I find so odd is that almost everything is modeled, detailed and animated to perfection apart from people. The ground crew slide along looking like they've wet themselves and the folk in the terminal are low poly, almost static zombies.
Pefekt video, start in the early 90th with flight simulator, what a development. Just the speed brakes I missed from cabin view, but totally not important. Keep going on!
That was one of the smoothest flights I have ever been on. I didn't even feel the landing. My only complaint was that I bought a ticket in first class but was bumped to business class because of a mistake at the ticket counter. They did give me two glasses of champagne and a voucher for 200 euros. I'm fine! WHAT? You're saying this was a simulation? But it seemed so real.
I agree with Andy. The graphics are phenomenal. But the ground Crewe do look like Zombies. And do walk as if they have wet themselves. Other than that it’s absolutely brilliant. With detail on this scale. Surely the Human element could be upgraded? After seeing this I am considering buying the software.I haven’t used any flight sim since 2000, yes I know a long time ago. And would like to get back into it. As someone else commented it’s not a game. It is now an excellent simulator.
Now, they should add an update for a side panels breaking off mid-flight. And maybe the planes that dive in unexpectedly, while climbing. Than I will call it a SIMULATOR!
Fabulous editing, I really wonder how you did it so well. I thought this was MAX737fly with the quality. I knew something was off since he hasn't posted in months. Well done.
Very nice video. Top. But what I still don't understand is that so much attention is paid to the graphical aspects. Why don't you see the captain's hand around the moving joystick at 15:28?
A point of concern adding to the fact that the RAT was out in the video - the part of the video following that clip in the cockpit shows 'USE MAN PITCH TRIM' just above the attitude indicator in the Primary Flight Display. So, was the aircraft operating in Direct Law all that while?
Just one thing to note, most pilots leave Probe/window heat in auto. You only need it set on in extreme conditions. Also strobes should be in auto (off) on taxiways. On on runways and in flight. And why were you trying to take off in approach mode?
I'd prefer you had shown more of the outside views, for we see the cities and the world. Certainly when I'm on a plane, I like to watch through the window, to see the world outside. The camera outside is a nice way to see the airplane and what's going on. 🎉
Thanks for the feedback! I recently published a similar video in which I tried to work on the outside, inside and cockpit views. Let me know what you think :D ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hw_MxPbAaVA.html
The video is absolutely amazing and it showcases how far the simulation has come. Really amazing work!! However, it's not a Boeing & there's no need to set V2 in the Airbus 😉 That, along with the TO warnings and various other wrong things across the video somehow puts a dent in the immersion and atmosphere you set out to create. They're somewhat small, silly details in the bigger picture, but why not do it the way it should be done..... Feel free to reach if you want to talk about it. Keep up the great, entertaining work ❤❤
Not only do we fly actual planes but we can simulate this entirely via a video game. And track real planes live which are flying right now. And some people think prehistoric people were far superior to modern day humans and our accomplishments and somehow we lost that science. Insane.
Man I've been waffling on whether to upgrade from my poor stressed 3060 to the 4070ti or painfully shell out for the 4090 but it looks like the 4070ti is holding its own!
I also thought about 3090 but I finally chose the 4070ti because it was more modern and many people said that it was better than 3090. So far, I have been very happy with the 4070ti because it has not given me any problems and because it has worked with my 750w power supply
@@4KFlights Yes that's the other consideration I had, if I go all the way to 4090 then I'll have to to the power supply as well. How does it hold up with proximity flying? Sometimes I like to fly an airbus under the golden gate bridge ;)
Without using any third party addons and not recording in close proximity it goes great with high and ultra settings and you should get an average of 40-50 fps. If you want to use third party addons and record you might have to put the settings down to high or medium and you should get 30-40 fps. But that is for my specific system, every system is different
Finally av video with clear ON SCREEN CHECK LIST, and a very good sound track. Only remark - WHY was the ram air turbine (RAT) emergency power generator activated ? Timeline 14.01-14.04 Please comment ! It may be called an air driven generator (ADG)..Why was the glide scope varning more or less ignored? ( Not even a slight trust increase.)
Maybe one of these days they can actually take the time to program the wheels on the ground equipment to turn in the correct direction of a turn. The GSX addon is so annoying. Just really breaks the feeling of realism when the vehicles do not behave in a natural manner
Excellent video and great editing. Thanks. Really shoes how good MSFS is. I'm heartened as I'm doing a new build and my GPU of choice is the 4070 ti with an i7 13700K .
@@4KFlights The more I look at this the more I think I'm going to use your 'add ons' as a benchmark for my new build. Thanks for the confirmation as well.
Of course it's a game! As much as the graphics improve, it still looks totally unreal. If one walks in a game it is total nonsense, no one in real life walks that fast or has such extremely dizzying angle turns. In addition to the textures, the objects, the movements of the people. And as if that were not enough, the world (within the game) is seen as if we had a wide angle in our eyes, and it is not like that! The closest thing to human vision would be a 50mm lens, but never a wide angle. We will have to wait the next 10 or 20 years to see if they improve. And I'm an optimist, for the record.
Happy to hear you liked the sounds, please keep in mind that my power supply is a "80 PLUS Bronze Certified 750W" power supply. Something is wrong with the shadows. Ambient occlusion is either not working properly or shadows are baked into the textures. It's very noticeable in the cockpit. The edges of the switches and such. Yes, it looks great for a realtime rendering engine. No, it's not realistic enough to fool anyone.
sorry that i put a negative comment but the landing was a bit to hard and the reason is because u put the leavers on idle a bit to early . My recomendation is put landing speed between 135-140 and put the leavers on idle when the computer voice of the plane says 'retart' see if it works
Not negative at all, I always take recommendations and advice very positively. I agree that the landing was very hard, I will try what you said. Thanks! 😁
It's really excellent! A couple of queries.... During the landing, you hear the system call out "Minimums", but there was no response of "Continue" to confirm landing... is that not standard? I also note that the speed brakes did not deploy when the wheels touched down - perhaps they had not been armed, although there was a flicker of movement at one point. Was that normal?
@@4KFlights A creator that not only reads comments but takes constructive criticism and applies that knowledge... 5 Star rating in my book. Keep up the good work.
For my sim settings I watched this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lDjHPWFzvuI.html Nvidia control panel settings: I have the quality set to 8K even though i do not have an 8K screen but I do it so I can have 250 Mbps Color shading: I have done some custom color shading with Primere pro
I’m thinking about buying this simulator and starting my flight sim journey, now more than ever.. Amazing video man, I must ask - are those sounds (people talking, radio chat, etc) coming from the game? Or you edited them in so it feels more realistic?
nice editing but try to verify your takeoff speeds try flap setting 1/.8up and flex temp 65 (that should be more realistic) then fmc will give out v1 vr and v2 speeds when doubble tapping on v1 etc. And a 20°degree takeoff angle is a bit harsh :)
Good, but it will always be a game. You don't get little labels popping up during start up checks, and once your onboard you don't get views of outside, only radio communication with the ground crew. Animations are good but again once in the cabin you need to rely on those instruments and your headset comms. Reality, it can never be. It takes years and a lot of studying to become an Air line pilot.
7:22 “This is a non smoking flight. Smoking is not permitted in the cabin or the laboratories?” Did she really say laboratories instead of lavatories? Or am I just going crazy?
