I like the "low-key" feel to the watch despite its price tag. Question is, how does one justify the value of such a piece? With 5 years of RnD put into it, the innovations Hublot came up with, no doubt remarkable! But at this price tag, one really has to appreciate not just for its aesthetic but also the "journey" of it coming into being. Though personally I wish the price tag was for limited 100 to 150 pcs rather than the current price point at limited 50 pcs :P
I don't get the appeal of this watch. It's not wearable at all, ugly, and the "new" winding mechanism doesn't sound much better than what we have already.
It’s an alternative way of interpreting time. It is a refreshing attempt rebelling against ‘traditional’ watchmaking and demonstrates a blend of advanced engineering and mechanical art. That is its appeal!
