It is sad, she was raised to be the queen and take the throne, to be strong, to defeat her enemies, she worked for that throne. Then suddenly he takes a wife and she has a son and all that is taken from his daughter when all she wanted was the throne she was raised to have.
@Cortez Conquistador Katherine the Great, both Elizabeth the Firsts (of England and Russia), Queen Hatshepsut - to name a few - would like to disagree!
@@cortezconquistador This is just a misogynistic comment. Women have ruled and taken the throne before, and there are some cultures that are Matriarchal. To say that women weren't designed to run empires due to too much "stress" is a gross generalization. Not everyone is fit to rule period. There are both men and women who are very unfit to rule. But just as there are some men who are suitable the same follows for women.
@@darthcubby2998 Most of you women don’t even use misogynistic in the right way because I don’t have a hatred for women I am a women secondly. It is the responsibility of men to not only take care of a family but in that time period it was not seen as something proper to have a woman ruling over a man. This was a time where men where in their masculine and women where in their feminine. Women knew their place and didn’t sit their trying to openly defy their husbands. What for they were provided for women. Some women have that desire to rule empires but that’s like 5% our place is in the home with our husbands and our children anything out of that will bring us stress and an unhappy life.
@@cortezconquistador "It is a form of sexism that is used to keep women at a lower social status than men" I think I got it right. Men and women have equal responsibility when it comes to the family. Women are not below Men, Men are not below Women. Also Like I said there are many cultures over the eras that are Matriarchal and not Patriarchal. Back in those eras women didn't dare defy their husbands in patriarchal society because often they would be beaten or punished. They were viewed as property not people. This is not every case but this was a common theme that happened more often than not. Also Cleopatra ruled in that period so there is that. In addition many women that are in highly male dominated fields that are perfectly content and happy with their lives this "additional stress" and "unhappiness" outside of the home you quote seems to be more of a belief than a fact.
@@lubystkaolamonola529 I understand that part completely but her father turned his back on her as soon as he married a girl younger than her and had a baby.. she could of took the baby and hid him somewhere
Netflix should take notes after that ignorant Cleopatra “DoCuMeNtARy” how a fictional movie portrayed ancient Egypt more realistically than the actual story of Cleopatra 💀
Dude, are you just as upset about Graham Hancock getting a ‘documentary’? Ancient aliens believers getting a ‘documentary’? People believing in ‘god’ getting documentaries, laws and prints on the money? If not better stay quiet about black Cleopatra too.
As right now until I get restored my. Daughter queen Lucian is. In charge of everything if you. Have. Matters. Long. Curl. Suffering. Death. To you all
