It's probably for the best I didn't get to see this in person. Loads of people would have gotten to see me cry on a bench during this. Instead I can do it in the privacy at home over and over lol. This is by far the best thing Disney has done in a long time. It gave me tears and goosebumps. Love the muppets.

I have chills. One of the greatest songs ever in my favorite park. Disney could have played a Frozen song for the 100th billionth time, but someone had the bright idea to actually use The Muppets for more than just a show in DHS. Well done.

I’m pretty sure this is the version from The Muppets (2011), rather than a new recording, which is kind of interesting in itself. I’m actually kind of surprised that they didn’t rerecord this with Matt, as the is the new voice and performer for Kermit.
Thank you, Craig! I watched another video but rushed over to the Dis because I knew yours would be better, and it was. It was better sound and had a much better view. I have been so negative about Disney and the 50th, then they do this. This gives me hope.
I agree with you totally. As soon as you think Disney has totally went to heck they go and do something like this that makes me want to go back and see it.
I personally think the 50th has been good, but I do think it could be better, my hope for this anniversary event, is more rare characters for meet and greets, including the muppets

@@wickedwood04 ill be upfront i actually like harmonious, plus that it features more hunchback, a movie that rarely gets represented in the parks is a great thing, ratatouille adventure is honestly fun, the food items they have have been delicious to me, i am a foodie lol, and i like the beacons of magic too, plus we did get a theme song too like we did for the 25th, and we finally had typhoon lagoon reopen after being closed for nearly 2 years, and I am personally sure things will get better once this pandemic slowly dies away, because for me personally, I want more rare characters in the parks. also we got more rides coming too, so I wouldn't think too negative for myself on it right now, there is still a lot of time left for the anniversary so just keep the faith

Growing up, my parents always put on old DVDs of the Muppet Show and Kermit was a huge part of my childhood. I’m 16 now, and hearing just the banjo at the beginning of the show with Kermit’s singing following gives me goosebumps. It’s kind of like a homesick nostalgia type feeling because my family loves visiting Epcot and the muppets have had a special place in my heart. This show looks awesome and I can’t wait to see it in person someday.
Went to disney world in October and space ship is absolutely beautiful for the 50th. Disney please please keep space ship earth like this after the 50th celebration!! Its absolutely gorgeous
the lights on spaceship earth are permanent, disney confirmed that epcot's beacon of magic will be staying well after the 50th ends in 2023 unlike mk, hs, and ak, but as for the muppets rainbow connection, I believe that it is only for the art festival, considering that there was a light show only used for festival of the holidays.

I was at Epcot last night. My tip is to watch this in the front or towards the entrance. I was to the side by Gateway Gifts, where the bathrooms are. You can't hear it well and you can't see the light show as intended.

This new lighting package on Space Ship Earth is the best thing to come out of the 50th celebration. I hope they continue to use it to its full advantage. The sky's the limit.
Who thinks "Farewell" from Pocahontas, "Con Te Partiro", or Sheryl Crow's cover of "The First Cut is the Deepest" by Cat Stevens could work well with this lighting show?
Well, I think we found the magic at the Magic Kingdom. When's Disney going to learn that they really need more nostalgia and heart and less Moana, Frozen, and floating Stargates?
After sunset - it rotates with the 50th Beacons of Magic Show. For example, this one was filmed at 8:40 pm and happened on the 20s... so 7:00, 7:20, 7:40, 8:00, 8:20, 8:40 pm where the other show was 7:10, 7:30, 7:50, 8:10, 8:30, 8:50 pm.
That was sweet to see and hear thanks Craig it only could have topped if they projected Kermit and Miss Piggy on the Globe but it was sweet and nice like that as well. Have you even heard anything about those back than plans doing a Muppet Star Wars related kinda Show like the History of America one in MK??? Did they shelved it for Good or do you think we could get that still cuz it is sad if they throw that away thought around Grand Avenue on Balcony of Rizzo Restaurant or someone there they would do that amazing Show but maybe this nasty stupid Pandemic destroyed those plans like many amazing cool things they may have had in mind. So far the first few months of the Celebration even with Ratatouille would you say it isn´t much quite exciting what they bring for the Celebration??? I mean the best things so far are the Entertainment even when they changed it or will change it kinda like Circle of Life sadly or Indy Stunt Show, Nemo the Musical, Fantasmic but at least we will get those kinda back in some form or little bit changed but don´t know if this 50th Celebration will be still exciting GALAXY´S COSMIC REWIND will be on the Horizon. But do you think we will even get back the interference with the Characters from Summer forward, because want to get to my beloved Princesses again and hugging some others we all could need some huggings after that nasty Pandemic so far (thankfully you have Kiley but not all of us have such angel like you, you lucky happy camper hope she is fine and could have some delicious Celebration foods hope some are friendly to her with her sad allergy. May the Force be with you maybe have luck again and would catch you almost again but this time around saying hi to you and her if she would be with you or Rhyno. I think it's at epcot because the festival of arts has a rainbow like theme and motif to it this year, and given that the song is called the rainbow connection, is probably why disney chose to do this song during the festival, i was honestly shocked they went with the muppets for this, disney has been giving much love lately to them, also worth pointing out that epcot also has the muppet themed quick service restaraunt called regal eagle smokehouse, which is centered more to sam eagle, but has more subtle muppet references there than pizzerizzo at hollywood studios, also a topiary for kermit and miss piggy appear each year at the flower and garden festival.
