The murder of Eric Somuah [True Crime documentary]

In Spring 2012, 34-year-old Eric Somuah, was living life to its fullest. He had a successful career, an active social life and dreams for the future.
This all came to an end when he was found murdered inside his upscale apartment.
The motive for the crime was baffling - and evidence was unfortunately lacking.
Investigators were left interviewing a sea of people; Eric’s many neighbours, his close-knit family, his many friends - and significantly, his many girlfriends.
Thankfully, one neighbour would come forward and break the case wide open.
This is the disturbing case of Eric Somuah.

Otherwise she would have gotten a lawyer and would still be a free woman. But no , she thought she was so smart, so well educated and so well spoken that she could fool these idiot cops. The jokes on her when the cops turned out to NOT be idiots; ironically she was the idiot for not having shut up and called a lawyer. Her own ego put her in prison. Also this could prove a cautionary tale, women get angry when they are treated poorly. Again, once he had done this once, the fault is hers for allowing herself to be treated this way repeatedly. How many women would have dumped this man? I know I would have.

You don't mess with a human being's feelings & emotions. You can never know if the person you're messing with is strong enough to handle your disregard of their heart. No one deserves to be murdered. No one deserves to be cheated on. No one deserves to be played with. No one deserves to be lied to, used, or abused. Sex is not simply a carnal need to be met. Narcissistic people are charming ... they can use it to feed their egos and satisfy lust, always out for themselves. But in a healthier person, we do chemically bond with someone when we love them and make love with them. Science has shown how our brains release dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin ... a powerful cocktail. So if a man told me he loves me, made love to me, and then I found out he was messing around ... I would be shattered. I don't believe I'm capable of murder ... but with 8 billion people on the planet, you're playing with fire, the more hearts that you burn thru. If all lived this motto: "Do unto others, as you want done to you." The world would be a better place.

Well, I went to school with Katrina for 12 years. We are from Silver Creek, Mississippi, a little town with a couple hundred people in it. I think Katrina just did something in a fit of passion, and nobody ever wants to talk about someone stealing from a woman, lying to them, pretending there is a legitimate relationship. I know all the parts of this, and it was a little quick. I'm just saying that we sure do make people treating other people very poorly, that would be very nasty lying, and we expect zero accountability, so much to the point that we will call Katrina a psycho not even knowing her, but act as though he was not a con man. He was. It's not okay. I'm not saying what she did was okay. I'm sure she regretted this after she did it. It would have never happened if this man had not completely lied to and played Katrina. Let's give credit where credit is due. Yes, he's dead and probably burning in hell as he doesn't seem like much of a repentant Christian. Katrina is in jail prob for life. She has also lost her career. He was not wirth that. He was a male player. Wonder if this happened more often if men would stop doing it. Just be a decent human. Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you. Stop trying to lie to and take advantage of someone's emotions and feelings.

No, let's not drive to the next county at least or toss it in a local waterway, or even a handy dumpster- let's just throw it out on the damn open road where its in the wide open. I'm brand new to the channel, as it was recommended to me in a RU-vid comment, and I'm glad for that. What a horrible case, as they all are. To have no concern for his well being is just something most of us cannot relate to. She came across pretty believable to me. Good work on the investigative team and good work on this video. Wow as a travel nurse from GA working in MD I can say this lady was a true sociopath. Lots of people seek travel nurses out for obvious but this lady was completely detached from reality. The sentencing was Just.

I saw this on a tv show, I think 20/20, when I was in the hospital once around April last year and I have been trying to find this case and a video on this case for the longest, but couldn’t remember anything about it name wise but I remembered seeing her sit there in that black shirt, so much so I almost thought I imagined or dreamed it while in the hospital lol, so glad I finally found it!

Her responses are so arrogant and nonchalant! She is an evil person. So glad justice was served.
