Hi there 😊hope you slept well ?🤣were you in the haunted room ? Iv often wondered how a person feels , when they’ve booked a room at the ostrich online , only to find out about its history after they’ve arrived 🤣do you ask the dreaded question which room did it all happen in ? What disturbed me most was the deep fat frier is now in the place where the big pot of oil was !! 🤣no chips tonight please ! Enjoy your stay , please let me know if anything spooky happens ! I shall have to give that a look Sean what I can say is the ostrich is an amazing pub with friendly staff who embrace their grisly history and ghosts I love that !! It’s well worth a visit mate

Hi Adam the cleaning lady allowed me into the upstairs toilet where people have seen Mary sat on the stairs looking out of the window , and her shadow is seen walking past the bottom of the toilet stall door , the downstairs toilet is the place I felt uncomfortable though and so do the bar staff who won’t use that toilet , whether it is Mary or not it’s not known but I felt very uneasy , outside those ladies toilets , I didn’t feel uneasy in the actual bedroom the murders supposedly took place in , but I wouldn’t want to spend the night there !!!! I think all the rooms have a ghostly presence , but it’s so old they are more than likely not all the jarmans , thank you for the message I hope you enjoyed the video 😊

It wouldn't surprise me that that place is haunted, not only by Mary but also the victims that lost their lives there. I heard about this story years before it appeared in Most Haunted. There was a book by Readers Digest called *The Folklore, Myths and Legends of Britain.* , the Ostrich In is included in that book. Please bare this in mind the episode of the Ostrich Inn appeared in Most Haunted in 2002, but the book by Readers Digest was published in 1973. If you can get a copy of that book, trust me it worth looking into. That is almost 30 years before Most Haunted even knew about it.

But the book I do know , but trying to get hold of it , and then at a reasonable price is very difficult , but I will keep trying , because Iv heard it’s a fantastic book , 😊
