Another great original song from the very talented family group written by Katie & Candy!.
Greatly influenced by both their Grandmothers - Nellie & Lena, the girls decided to dedicate a song to them and came up with the magical name of Nelena.
Made for the Jivers this one the single tells the story of the mystical lady Nelena. Great lyrics as always from the Murphys with Vocals to match!

wow, that lead singer has some voice. Powerful voice and wonderful lyrics, great rhythms and the mix of traditional Irish background music works wonderfully. I love it !

I think the Murphy's are amazing talent. Why are we not seeing them on TVs? Far better than some of the stuff they put on. They look great , sound great, and write fabulous songs, so catchy.

This is the superb new music video from The Murphys, and they perform it beautifully. It's a wonderful original Irish story song, with excellent lyrics, and was written by Katie & Candy. The backing music is excellent also. The Murphys come from County Kerry, Ireland, and are a very talented family band. Many thanks to Stewart's Music Shop for uploading this magnificent video. Tubebrerry We do have a lot to offer for such a small country, it’s wonderful to have our own language ( albeit we don’t use it often enough) We have wonderful poets , writers , & of course the music & songs , & our Irish ☘️ dancing . So frm your point of view I can see why you would like to have been born in Ireland 🇮🇪 , Alas we are loosing some of our traditions & our culture is getting somewhat “ watered down “ So it’s great to have singer/ songwriters like The Murphy’s who continue to showcase our talents .
