I've been saying the same thing, especially here in 2024. True artistry leads with and leans on quality music AND it's overall presentation. When that's the approach it will always shine through. The Kendrick/Drake battle is a clear example and set the tone for the level of music we are seeing now.
Hold up, did Drake write those first 2 verses?? This ain't the song that makes you say hiphop is still alive and well.. Planet Asia is the lifesaver here.
